~Afraid~
Holly held onto Paul, afraid to look at Cat who lay on the table at the vet's office. Paul held her closer than he'd ever held her before. "Tell us, doctor. Is Cat going
to be all right?"
The doctor turned to them and smiled. "Don't worry. Cat's going to be just fine."
Holly was so happy; she hugged and kissed the doctor, who was clearly surprised by her actions. But Paul wasn't.
