Icarus is on a quest to know more about the mother that he never knew even if it means reopening old wounds. During his journey, he discovers he has a guardian angel who is Kara.

Situation: Icarus, Jordan, and Jonathan are doing yard work

Jordan: It must've hurt when she abandoned you

Icarus: Are you referring to my mom or aunt?

Jordan: Your mom

Icarus: My mom didn't abandon me. She chose a different path.

Jonathan: Why aren't you at home with her now?

Icarus: She and my aunt thought living here in Smallville would be better for me
