Part I
Prompt: Alternate ending to 8x05, Beckett puts on Castle's shirt and goes to bed... Later that night Castle walks in the room and finds her sleeping in their bed

She came here to collect more of her clothes. Just a quick stop.
But then she sees his shirt.
The comforting scent of Castle permeates the fabric, making her heart ache.
She removes her jacket, before wrapping herself in him.
Warmth spreads through her body at the idea of having him so close once more.
She can't leave. Not again.
She eases herself under the covers of his—their bed. Lifts the collar of the shirt to her nose, snuggling into his aroma.
Her eyes slip closed, no longer able to fight. Exhaustion from the last few weeks taking hold.
