Hey everyone!
Happy May first of all. Second of all I'm changing my upload dates around because the 1st and 2nd and 15th, 16th and sometimes the 17th of the month can be so full on for me. I'm looking at the 3rd and 18th now for updates to make things a little easier on me with things. So don't worry about it; it was a change at the last moment. Enjoy the update!
Lots of love,

Hidden Child-Part 93:
The day that Lyra was going to meet her aunt had arrived and, of course, she was nervous but she was also excited as well. She was finally going to meet the aunt that wasn't trying to kill her. She couldn't understand why but it truly meant something to her. It would only be later on that she'd understand why it meant something to her.
Tonks had revealed the plan and Andromeda would be posing as a visitor to the Castle so as not to raise suspicions with anybody. The last thing that was needed was for Draco to discover his aunt was in the school and meeting his sister in secret. He surely would have put a stop to it and then informed Narcissa and all hell would have broken loose.
To make Draco more suspicious Lyra had begun to retreat into herself more and the last time that happened things hadn't ended well.
"Are you sure you're ok Lyra?" he asked, "you keep saying you are but you're quiet."
"Draco I'm fine, just trying to remember the last things I was taught in my last session with Tonks before she quick-fire tests me on it all later," Lyra replied causing Astoria to look at Lyra. She had been suspicious of Lyra and knew that she was up to something as hushed whispers had been exchanged but she wasn't going to pressure Lyra into saying anything. She also had her suspicions that it could be something that Draco wouldn't approve of and that was why Lyra was staying quiet as well. She had gone to try and ask her but Lyra just shook her head, all but confirming why Lyra was keeping quiet.
Lyra looked as she saw Tonks and Helena in the shadows and then her eyes caught sight of a subtle nod before she heard a cackle and saw Peeves hovering above and she just stopped still before watching as the chaos began to unfold and she slipped away with Tonks and Helena all the way up to the Room of Requirement. They slipped inside and Helena says that she'll come back when suspicions about where Lyra is start to surface.
Tonks thanked her before turning as Lyra had gasped and frozen before stepping back. The Auror turned around before she went over to her mother and hugged her.
"That's Bella…" Lyra went to say before she was stopped.
"Good instincts Lyra but you're safe. I'm Andromeda and, whilst I look like my sister, I am nothing like her and have longed to meet you for a while," Andromeda said and soon had her arms around Lyra after her daughter had nodded to confirm that she was safe and her niece had rushed over and hugged her.
Andromeda just held her niece close for a few minutes before stepping back and looking at Lyra.
"You are just so like Cissa was when she was your age," Andromeda said as she rested her hands on Lyra's shoulders, "even down to the shade of blonde."
"Why did you leave? I know that you were blasted off the Black Family Tapestry…" Lyra asked and Andromeda sighed as she knew that Lyra probably knew so little about what had happened.
Andromeda went and sat down with Tonks and Lyra followed, sitting down with them.
"I left because I fell in love. That's the simple way of explaining things," Andromeda said as she looked at Lyra, "what people of the Black Family won't say is that I fell in love with a Muggleborn and that goes against everything your Grandmother believed in."
"But that's not a crime surely. I know there's been trouble with Zenon and father but he's OK with it now," Lyra said as she looked at her.
"Yes… some Purebloods think we are elite and shouldn't mix with others," Andromeda started.
"Like Grandmother and Father…" Lyra sighed as she looked at Andromeda and then Tonks as she saw Andromeda nod, "well I don't think you're bad. I like you," she said softly as she looked at her and then smiled softly.
"So what about you Lyra? What do you like doing?" Andromeda asked as she wanted to change the subject quickly.
"Well mainly reading if I'm being honest," Lyra said, "I don't get much time for anything else with all the training that I'm doing," she said softly as she looked at her, "I mean I dance and play the piano like mother does but I don't really have much time for anything else. Reading is enough for me though. It gives me a way of escaping when I need it."
"You really are every bit your mother's daughter," Andromeda said with a soft laugh, "she was always the dancer, piano player and bookworm of the family," she added as she looked at Lyra as the 12-year-old had a confused look on her face, "she was the one mother paid most attention to really," she said.
"Because she was perfect?" Lyra asked as she looked at her aunt.
"Well Bellatrix had the Black madness inside her and then I was the odd one according to my mother, but I'm sure she's different with you," Andromeda said before watching a nod, "your mother, on the other hand, was the perfect Pureblood child who couldn't do anything wrong."
"I'm guessing that they said that because you are the middle child," Lyra said and Andromeda nodded, "well that is silly. That doesn't make you weird," she said, with a frown on her face, before sighing, "I don't want anyone to get into trouble because of this meeting…"
"I don't think anyone will and I also think that your mother would know that it was going to happen with Cissa putting Tonks on the protection team," Andromeda said as she looked at her daughter and Lyra, "I just don't think that she would have expected it so soon but it was bound to happen. Lyra's older and more curious about things… her family for one."
"What are you not telling us?" Tonks asked as she looked at her mother, noticing the look on her face.
"Cissa and I came to an agreement to put Tonks on the protection team…"
That was all she needed to say before watching as two pairs of eyes widened in shock.
