"I can imagine how much she suffered. You should have listened to her she has something important to tell you." Tikki stated.
"Do you by any chance know what it is? Mrs. Sabine did mention that she has something to tell me. Please tell me if you know." Mari replied.
"I'm sorry Mari it's not my place to say. Look I'm preying for her and you should do the same thing so she gets better." Tikki stated. "And if she looks for you again don't deny to hear her Mari she's a saint."
"I know until the end she acted like a mother to me." Mari replied. "That's why I feel terrible for how I treated her that night. If she dies I'll be the only one to blame."
"Why don't I give you the number of the hospital and you might get more information from them." Tikki suggested.
"Yes please." Mari writes down the information. "Thank you Tikki bye." She hangs up. "It seems that Mrs. Sabine isn't doing so well but Tikki gave me the number of the hospital so I could get more information."
Ruby walked over to Adrien. "Adrien today Mari will-"
"Will debute at the grand theater I know." Adrien replied. "Are you going?"
"No because I'm going out with Mathew. We're going another night are you going?" Ruby asked.
"Yes I'm going tonight." Adrien replied and Ruby basically clapped and jumped in joy.
In the grand theater there was a big line of people buying tickets for the play as Mari was in her dressing room with Marlena. Roland walked in. "Do you have everything that you need?"
"I think so." Mari replied.
"Make sure that you have everything." Roland stated. "You can't forget anything because at the last second nothing can be done."
"Roland you're making me more nervous." Mari replied. "If I get more nervous I'll mess up on stage."
"That's normal for an actress during their debute. Make sure you have everything want me to help you?" Roland asked.
"Sure let's see I have the dresses shoes wig I think that's all." Mari stated. "Marlena will be here to help me as Fu stays home with Adrienne."
"Alright I'll see how everything on stage is going and how the sales are doing too." Roland replied.
"Alright...hay can I borrow your phone?" Mari asked. "I want to call the hospital and see how Mrs. Sabine is doing."
"Mari if you become more nervous ...forget about it erase it from your mind no worries. Tonight is your debute and that's the only thing you should think about the great debute of Mari well of Violet Ladybug." Roland replied.
"The trail against Miss. Kagami Tsurugi for the death of Mrs. Chloe Agreste resumes." The judge called out.
"Adrien can I borrow your keys I forgot my phone and I'll take advantage and park the car closer." Luka told Adrien as they were walking in the delegation.
"Alright I'll wait for you inside." Adrien stated handing him the keys and walked inside. Inside Adrien found Lila. "Hay Lila did you come to declare?"
Lila stood up. "Yes they called me and I hope to get out from this immediately."
"What are you going to say?" Adrien asked.
"I can't believe that Roland didn't give me permission to call the hospital to see how Mrs. Sabine was doing." Mari told Marlena in frustration. "Because I could get nervous and that couldn't happen especially on the day of my debute."
"Well he does have a point Mari. Don't worry about her today you need to be calm for tonight." Marlena replied.
"But I can't stop thinking that Mrs. Sabine is so ill because of me." Mari stated. "But at the same time I can't risk losing my job...the future of Adrienne depends on me having success today."
"I don't know why I was called much less what I'm going to say." Lila replied.
"I also don't explan why you were called." Adrien stated.
The secretary walked over to them. "Miss. Dupain-Cheng come with me it's time for you to declare." Lila nodded and walked away.
At that moment Luka walked over to Adrien handing back his keys. "What's new?"
"Now they are going to interrogated the adopted daughter of the Dupain." Adrien replied.
"Was it that woman that just walked away?" Adrien nodded. "She seemed familiar for some reason. Anyway are you staying long?"
"No I just want to see what the results for today are." Adrien replied.
"Okay I'll just take a walk around outside." Luka stated.
"Alright meet you back here?" Adrien asked and Luka nodded before walking away.
"How is she doing doctor?" Tom asked the doctor.
"That will be decided the next few hours." The doctor replied. "By tonight we'll know if she'll die or live."
"Miss. Dupain-Cheng can you tell us how you met the defendant?" The lawyer of the public asked.
"I'm a great friend of the Agreste family. I once visited the house and I found Miss. Kagami there I asked who she was and I was told that Adrien hired her to be Maya's tutor." Lila replied.
"In your opinion was it justified that he gave her that job? " the lawyer asked.
"Yes Adrien always had problems with his mother in law they would constantly fight. By hiring Miss. Tsurugi Maya would be entertained and learn instead of witnessing what a girl her age should witness." Lila replied. "And Adrien didn't have to worry since Kagami was loyal."
"Do you think that she would do anything if he asked her to?" The lawyer asked. "Even to kill an unwanted wife?"
"Yes." Lila replied.
"Have you ever witnessed the transformation of Miss. Kagami Tsurugi to Ryuuko Mira?" The lawyer asked.
"Yes I once entered Kagami's room and Ruby Agreste Adrien's sister was there with her. Kagami's hands were tied to the bed she was furious and yelling in Japanese. She suddenly got freed and attacked Ruby." Lila replied. "She was full of rage and willing to do anything. She was going to kill us like how she killed Chloe."
Mari couldn't stop thinking about Sabine so she found a phone and dialled the number to the hospital. "Hi can you give me information of a patient?"
"Do you want me to communicate you with a family member?" The woman asked.
"No thanks the patient's name is Sabine Dupain-Cheng and she's in room 235." Mari replied.
"Yes she's here are you a family member?" The woman asked.
"No I'm a friend I just want to know how she is doing." Mari replied.
"Well she's still alive and very delicated I'm sorry but that's all that I can tell you." The woman stated.
Mari sighs and hangs up. "I told you to not make any phone calls!" Roland said sternly walking up to her.
"Do you think that she suffers from a spilt personality?" The lawyer asked.
"I think that she's a good actress and everything that I witness was just an act." Lila replied. When she walked out Adrien stood up. "I'm done."
"What did you say?" Adrien asked.
"The truth of what I saw and think." Lila replied. "Are you staying longer?"
"Yes I'm waiting for a friend." Adrien stated.
"Oh Edward?" Lila asked.
"No Luka Couffaine." Adrien replied.
"Why didn't you listen to me?!" Roland asked harshly.
"I just wanted to know how Mrs. Sabine is doing and I was told that she's very delicated." Mari replied.
"You should have listened to me look how nervous you got and I can't let that happen!" Roland said harshly. "You can't fail in your debute."
"Don't talk to me like that because of a phone call got it?!" Mari replied just as harshly.
"I forbid you from making another phone call got it!?" Roland yelled. "And how many times do I have to tell you that those people don't care about you if you don't listen to me than I'll find a new actress to take your place."
"Another actress? Than look for her now because I'm leaving!" Mari yelled before storming to her dressing room and Roland followed her.
"The doctor told me that by tonight we'll find out if she dies or not." Tom told Father Carlos.
"Judge Dupain you barely rested all week you need to rest or you'll collapse." Father Carlos stated. "Go home and rest for a while. When she really needs you you'll be unable to be there for her. Go rest and I'll stay I promise you I'll call you if she wakes up."
Tom sighs. "Alright." Tom kisses Sabine's forehead before leaving the room.
"He's a friend that you don't know he lives in California but he's staying at my house since he has some business here. He's like my older brother." Adrien added.
At that moment Mike walked over to them. "Miss. Dupain Cheng I'm sorry that I can't be grateful for your untruth declarations."
"I'm objective lawyer." Lila replied.
"What did you say Lila?" Adrien asked sternly. "You declared against Kagami?"
"You are not going to abandon me now!" Roland said harshly.
"I'm not harming anyone by making one phone call to know how Mrs. Sabine is doing!" Mari exclaimed.
"You're harming yourself! You got very altered and that doesn't work with an actress that is about to debute!" Roland replied. "You'll forget everything on stage. You still have a lot to learn."
"So do you you need to learn about having feelings!" Mari stated.
"You'll be irresponsible if you abandon the crowd because of a grudge. Think about it or tell me if I have to suspend the performance it all depends on you!" Roland leaves the dressing room.
Sabine slowly opened her eyes and saw Father Carlos. "Father Carlos...where's Tom?"
"He went home to rest I'll call him to let him know that you're awake." Father Carlos stated.
"No let him rest." Sabine stated. "Tonight is the night Mari will debute in the theater right?"
Father Carlos nodded. "Yes."
"I need you to do me a favor." Sabine replied.
"I said what I saw and how I saw it that's it." Lila stated.
"That's not true you said that Miss. Tsurugi doesn't suffer of a split personality because she's an actress." Mike replied.
"I only said what I believe. Did you want me to lie? I'm sorry Adrien but not even to help you I couldn't lie. I never said a lie before not even for personal use why would I lie for a murderer?" With that Lila walked away.
"Mari Roland is right think about everything you might lose if you refuse to do the play." Marrlena told Mari.
Mari sighs. "When I called the hospital I was told that Mrs. Sabine hasn't died but she's very ill."
"There's still hope you can't lose faith and calm down." Marlena replied. "You need to think positive and forcus on what you need to do. The people already brought their tickets and you need to preform. Think about your daughter Adrienne...so what are you going to do?"
Luka walked over to Adrien. "I'm back."
"Alright let's go we have just enough time to eat something before we get ready to go to the play." Adrien replied and Luka nodded.
Roland walked in Mari's dressing room. "I came to ask you what you decided Mari."
"I'm going to do the performance Roland and I hope that you can forgive me for what I told you." Mari stated. "You were right but please understand me that this is all new to me."
"I also apologize for how I acted friends?" Roland asked extending his hand to her and Mari shook it.
"Now let's get you ready its getting late." Marlena stated.
Roland's phone rang and he answered. "Hello?"
"Sorry for calling you Roland but I wanted to wish Mari luck before the performance." Fu said on the other line.
"Don't worry Fu." Roland hands the phone to Mari. "Its Fu."
Mari took the phone. "What's up Fu?"
"I'm only calling you to wish you luck." Fu replied. "Adrienne is next to me asleep but I'm sure she wishes you luck to."
"Thanks Fu and please give that baby of mine a kiss on the cheek because she'll give me all the luck in the world for being an angel." Mari stated.
"Do you know anything about Mrs. Sabine?" Fu asked.
"Everything is the same Fu but thanks for your good wishes bye." Mari hangs up.
Roland takes his phone back. "Okay phone calls are over time to get ready for the great debute of Violet Ladybug in Romeo and Juliet." With that he leaves the dressing room.
"No I didn't tell Adrien about the street rat." Lila told Isabella as they were eating.
"He probably already knows today is the premiere and its been everywhere." Isabella stated.
"He probably doesn't know right now the only thing in his head is the trail." Lila replied.
"So you blamed the tutor as much as possible right?" Isabella asked.
"Yes though I didn't want to go overboard." Lila replied.
"Hopefully she goes to jail and Adrien too though he most likely will get out from this with her too." Isabella stated.
"By the way you won't believe what I found out the owner of the ranch that Mari was staying at is Adrien's best friend almost brother and he's staying at Adrien's house. Viperion is looking for Iris and I can tell him where to find her." Lila said with a smirk.
"I'm going to take a shower I'll be right back." Mari said before entering the bathroom.
At that moment there was a knock on the door and Marlena opened it to find paparazzi. "We're here to interview Violet Ladybug."
"She's taking a shower right now and can't give you an interview." Marlena replied.
"We can do it outside the bathroom door." One of the reporters said.
"No wait until she's done and I'm sure she'll answer all of your questions." Marlena closed the door before they could get in. "You are not even starting Mari and there's already paparazzi after you."
Natalie walked over to Luka who was waiting for Adrien in the main hall. "Mr. Couffaine I forget to tell you when you came back that a woman called for you."
"A woman? Did she give you a message for me?" Luka asked thinking that it was Mari.
"No and she didn't tell me who she was she just hanged up when I told her you weren't here yet." Natalie replied.
Adrien walked to them. "Let's go Luka you'll soon see the woman of my life."
"There you're done." Marlena said when she finished Mari's make up. "Now you really do look like someone else."
"Wow you're right." Mari said looking at the mirror. "I hope the audience likes the profermance. I'm very nervous for messing up my lines luckily I'm not the only one that speaks or the first one."
"Don't worry I'll be in the edge of the stage with the script and if you forget a line I'll help you in any way possible." Marlena said with a smile.
"What role is she playing?" Luka asked Adrien as they walked in the theater.
"Juliet." Adrien replied.
"You know for some reason I thought that Iris would be here but she never mentioned liking the theater I doubt she likes it anyway." Luka stated.
They found their seats and sat down. "Soon we'll see Mari on stage."
Luka looks around him. "I feel like Iris could be here but I don't know why."
By every second that passes Mari got more nervous. "I swear I feel like my heart will jump out from my chest."
There was a knock on the door. "Please don't let it be the paparazzi again." Marlena said as she opened the door.
Roland walked in the room. "Are you ready?" Mari nodded nervously. "Than let's go on stage it's about time."
Mari left the room with Roland and Marlena grabed everything they needed before following them.
"How is she." Tom asked the doctor after the doctor checked Sabine.
"I don't know what else to tell you." The doctor replied.
"Save her please you can't let her die." Tom stated.
"That's what we're trying to do but science does have a limit." The doctor replied before leaving the room.
Sabine slowly woke up. "Tom...where's Father Carlos."
"He left a while ago he called me and when I came here he was already gone." Tom replied.
"He had to leave but I thought that he came back by now." Sabine replied.
At that moment Father Carlos walked in and Tom went to him. "Please do something the doctors can't do anything else she's in God's hands now." Tom said in tears before leaving the room.
"Did you do what I asked you for?" Sabine asked Father Carlos when he walked up to her bed.
Father Carlos nodded. "I did what you asked me to do."
"Thank you Father Carlos." Sabine replied.
"Sabine once near death you gave me the baby girl." Father Carlos stated.
"And I regretted it later." Sabine replied.
"Now I want to tell you something. Marinette also gave birth and was near death but she told me that she forbidden herself from dying to not leave her daughter alone. Do the same thing and don't leave your daughter alone again." Father Carlos stated.
The play started but it didn't take long for Luka to get anxious. "I'm leaving Adrien I get bored just sitting and not doing anything I prefer to keep looking for Iris and I'll come back for you later."
Adrien nodded handing Luka his keys. "Don't come for me I'll take a taxi."
Luka nodded before standing up and leaving the theater. Just as Luka left Mari got on stage and did her part. Adrien looked at her with a big smile.
"My daughter doesn't love me though." Sabine stated.
"She will one day keep on living for Marinette." Father Carlos replied. "Because you are her mother and you can't abounded her for a second time."
When the play ended everyone started to clap as the actors one on one got on stage to bow when Mari got on stage everyone in the theater stood up and clapped for her including Adrien. This continued even after the actors left the stage.
When Mari was heading to her dressing room she was stopped by the paparazzi and she answered all the questions she could before she found a way to escape and headed to her dressing room. She suddenly stops though when she sees Adrien standing against a wall near her dressing room and they locked eyes for a long time.
