A.N. — I was scrolling though the character list for someone I didn't recognize. This one-book person certainly qualifies, and - bonus - ties into my favorite character. He's also a confirmed Hufflepuff, something seemingly lacking in canon. Lastly, this drabble should've been back in March, to match the canon timeline.

It was an undiscussed, but assumed, tactic amongst the Hogwarts house teams to keep an ear peeled to the match commentator's observations. It could affect your next play, or keep you abreast of the score.
