Icarus is on a quest to know more about the mother that he never knew even if it means reopening old wounds. During his journey, he discovers he has a guardian angel who is Kara.

Place: Kara's personal private room inside The DEO

Situation: Kara realizes she is stuck with the baby that she has trying to abort all day

Alex (entering the room): What is your current status?

Kara (feeling defeated, she rests on the bed): The baby is still alive. My body has failed to abort it.

Alex (sitting down at Kara's bedside): I don't know if your pregnancy is a good or bad thing. It depends on how you feel about it. Should I hold off on the congratulations?

Kara: I accept your congratulations. I don't love the baby, but I will tolerate it.

Alex: There is always adoption

Kara: Adoption is a messy process. I would prefer to keep the baby.
