A parody of the episode: Arrgh!
At the park, Flip is looking for customers through binoculars as he's in his Flip's Food and Fuel truck. "Where could they be? They should've been here hours ago! Arrgh! Not a customer in sight. If I don't make any money today, I'll surely break out in a rash!"
"Yippee! I'm rich!" Lincoln yelled out. He and his friends were seated at a table, playing a game. "Look guys, eight gold doubloons!"
"Wait! I saw it first! Hah!" Flip jumped onto the table and sweated. "Mine, mine! Huh?"
"Boy Flip, you sure are sweaty." Lincoln commented.
"What's this? Where are the doubloons?"
Lincoln laughed. "There are no real doubloons, Flip. It's a game: "The Gothic Ghost Mistress's Treasure Hunt"."
"Based on a real treasure map." Clyde added.
"You can join us if you want." Lincoln said.
"Yeah! C'mon sweaty!" Zach said.
"Well, business has been slow today." Flip stated. "Alright kids. Looks like you've convinced me." He joined them.
"My turn!" Rusty rolled the dice. "Five."
He made a raspberry sound while moving his piece, then read a card. "One of your shipmates has been a bad pirate! Send him to the brig! Hmmm."
Lincoln turned his eyes towards Flip.
"It's off to jail for you, Flip."
"Kid, you're fired!" Flip said angrily.
"But I don't even work for you."
"Would you like a job, starting now?" Flip put a Flippee cap on Rusty's head.
"Boy, would I?"
Flip took the cap off Rusty. "You're fired!"
"My turn." Liam rolled the dice and moved his piece. "One, two, three, four." He picked up a card and read it. "Look for the Irish mermaid through the fork in the old tree and head that way."
He looked through the hole in the tree. "Well, I see Flip's zipper is undone."
Flip gasped and looked down.
Liam laughed. "Just kidding, Flip. I'm almost to the treasure."
Soon it was Flip's turn.
"Your turn, Flip." Lincoln said.
Flip rolled the dice. "Ooh, fish eyes. One, two." He moves his piece two spaces forward. Lincoln picked up a card and read it.
"You are a real pirate. Go straight to the "X" that marks the spot. You get to dig for treasure, Flip!"
"Treasure." Flip dug and found a mini plastic treasure chest. "There it is! It's the Gothic Ghost's Treasure! Gold, gold, gold. Mine, mine, mine, mine, mine!"
"Hey, Flip is getting all sweaty again." Liam commented.
A customer walked up to Flip's truck. "Hello? Are you open? I could really go for a Flippy right now!"
Flip picked up the customer and held him over his head.
"Help! Help!"
Flip threw him away.
"My leg!"
"Can't you see I'm closed?!" Flip rushed back to the game table. "Ready for another round? This is my kind of game!"
"Hooray!" The kids cheered.
As the gang continued to play, the scenery changed from day to night. Stella, Rusty, Zach, and Liam have left the park and Lincoln, Clyde, and Flip are still there. Clyde is asleep on the table.
"I win again!" Flip cheered. "Oh, that's seventeen times in a row."
Lincoln is very tired. "I think we ought to call it a night, Flip. I should be at home right now and I really need to get some sleep."
"Oh, you can't walk out on me now."
"I'm sorry, Flip." Lincoln yawned, slinged Clyde over his shoulder, and carried him out of the park. "Goodnight."
The white haired boy walked inside his house after bringing his friend back home. Rattling noises are heard. "Huh? Who's there?" Lincoln turned on the lights. Flip is seen on the couch with the board game.
"Come on, Lincoln. One more game. I can smell the treasure."
Lincoln pushes the man outside. "Flip, it's late. Go to bed! Goodnight, Flip."
He closed the door but Flip is inside the house once again. "Wind is perfect, tide is right. Let's hunt for treasure."
"Flip, you gotta-" Lincoln opened the door and Flip is now outside.
"Tread softly, kid. If the ghost lady hears ya, we'll never get her treasure."
"But Flip-"
"I'll roll for ya, boy."
"But Flip-"
Flip rolled the dice. "Eight paces, north, that's a good start, lad."
"But Flip-"
"One, two, three…"
Lincoln yelled in frustration. "FLIP! I WANNA GO TO BED!" He calmed down. "I'm sorry, Flip, but it's just a game, you know?"
"A game. That's... right. Of course it is, my mistake. I guess I got a little carried away, eh? Though it is treasure we're dealing with here. Sorry, for disturbing ya, kid." Flip finally left with the game and Lincoln shut the door.
It's morning, and a rooster crow is heard. Lincoln woke up and heard Flip's voice.
"Avast! Loud house, ho. Heave two, and prepare to be boarded."
"Aw, go home already." Lincoln said with annoyance. He walked downstairs and opened the front door. "I'm done playing that game, Flip."
"That's Captain Flip to you, and this is no game." Flip is in a pirate ship, dressed like a pirate. "We're gonna be pirates."
"Pirates? For real?" Lincoln said excitedly.
"Ay! How'd you like to go on a real treasure hunt, with a real treasure map?"
"Treasure? Hold on, let me get dressed!" Lincoln quickly gets dressed and came outside. "I'm ready to be a pirate!"
Then Lincoln's friends came over.
"Hey, what's going on here?" Stella asked.
"We're going on a real treasure hunt!" Flip announced.
"Treasure? I'm in!" Rusty said. The others wanted to join as well as they got excited.
"Alright, alright." Flip threw a bag of pirate stuff. "Put on this pirate garb, so I won't be embarrassed to be seen with ya. Arrgh."
The kids look through the bag.
"Ooh, guys, look. Peg legs and eye patches." Lincoln said.
"Now, don't you feel more like pirates?" Flip asked.
Zach walked towards the plank using two peg legs. "Look, I'm Peggy Leggy the pirate!" He fell on the plank.
Rusty walked towards the plank with two separate eye patches covering his eyes. "I'm Blind Beard the pirate." He fell on Zach.
"Ow." Zach groaned.
"Arrgh." Flip facepalmed.
The ship is sailing across the ocean as the gang seem to be near a beach.
"This feels like the time we were on Grandma Harriet's ship." Lincoln mentioned to Clyde. (AKA Gothic Ghost Mistress)
"Oh yeah, I remember." Clyde said.
"Keep a sharp lookout, Lincoln." Flip ordered. "According to the map, we're close to the first landmark."
"Really? Can we see the map?"
"Uh...no! Only the captain can lay eyes on the map."
"Oh, okay."
"And don't forget, a pirate says "Arrgh!"
"Arrgh! Captain Flip!" Lincoln stood up. His eyes widened as he saw a big rock nearby. "Captain, were about to hit...uhh... I mean... arrgh, Capt., arrgh, we're, arrgh, about, arrgh, to hit, arrgh…"
"Out with it man, Arrgh!"
Zach is seen rowing the boat. "I, arrgh, think, arrgh, he's trying, arrgh, to say...!"
The ship crashed.
"-land…"
"Arrgh!" Flip said in frustration. "From now on, only the captain says, arrgh! Status report, Mr. Loud?"
"The ship has crashed, Captain."
"Arrgh, we're marooned then. Our treasure hunt will have to continue on foot."
The gang come across a sand castle.
"This is it, kids, from the sand castle with two shells on it." Flip stated. "10,000 paces east."
Stella inspected it closely. "But Flip, that castle has-"
Flip took one shell off and tossed it away.
"Which way, Cap'n?"
Flip looked at Liam. "Ensign Liam, which way is east?"
"Hmm...let's see…" Liam looked at a compass, then pointed in a direction. "That way, captain!"
The gang walk off.
"9,997... 9,998... 9,999... 10,000!" Flip looked around. "Where's the "X"? Supposed to be right here! 10,000 paces east."
"Ooh! East? Ah thought you said "weast"!" Liam said.
"Weast? What kind of compass are you reading, kid?"
Liam showed the compass. "This one, sir."
The arrow was pointed west.
"That's west, Liam. You're fired."
The crew is walking again, and are now exhausted.
"9,551... 9,552…"
"Flip, we're tired." Lincoln said tiredly.
"And hungry." Rusty said.
"Ooh. So this is my crew. You get a little tired, and a wee-bit hungry, and you want to shove off for home. Arrgh! That sickens me. A pirate is not judged by the notches in his cutlass, or by the size of his booty. A pirate is judged by the loyalty of his crew. And without a loyal crew...what am I captain of? Just... a bunch of sand?" Flip teared up and cried. The kids couldn't help but feel bad.
Lincoln sighed. "Okay, cheer up Flip."
"Yeah, your loyal crew is here." Clyde added.
Flip stopped crying. "You'll stay with me then?"
"We'll be the most loyal pirate crew ever!" The kids said in unison.
"I knew I could count on you guys. One for all!"
"And all for one!"
It's nighttime and the kids are laying on the ground outside of a tent.
"Why did I agree to this?" Rusty complained as he was shivering.
"Couldn't we at least make a campfire?" Stella complained.
"We don't have anything for that." Clyde mentioned.
"As long as we get treasure, I don't mind sleeping on the cold, hard ground while Captain Flip sleeps in his warm, dry tent." Lincoln said.
"And I haven't bathed in weeks." Liam mentioned.
"But we've only been out here a few hours." Zach stated.
"Ah know." The farm boy laughed. His friends moved away from him.
"I'm so loyal, I don't wanna sleep till we find the treasure." Lincoln said excitedly. "Let's go see if the captain will go now!"
The kids entered the tent.
"Captain Flip?" Lincoln called. He wasn't there. "He's not here."
"Look! The treasure map." Rusty pointed to the map which was on a desk.
"Only the captain can look at the map, Rusty." Clyde reminded him.
Rusty walked toward the map. "Yeah…"
"Rusty, what are you doing?" Lincoln said.
"Nothing."
"Rusty, Patrick, you're not supposed to look at the map."
Rusty touched the map. "I'm not looking, I'm touching. There's no rule against that, is there?"
"No. I guess, there isn't?"
The kids began poking the map. The map opened.
"Oops. It opened by itself." Zach said. The kids laughed, then searched the map.
"The map, the map, gotta see it, gotta look at it!"
The kids freeze as they realize something.
"Guys?" Stella said.
"Yeah?"
"Do you notice something familiar about this map?"
"You mean, like that it's our game board taped to a piece of paper?" Lincoln said.
Flip appeared right behind them and was angry. "Do you think this is a problem?"
The kids panic.
"Sneaking peeks at me treasure map?"
"We're sorry." Clyde whined.
The kids walked backwards out of the tent as Flip marched toward them. "That's mutiny on my ship. So you think ol' Captain Flip has gone crazy, do ye?"
"Not at all, Captain Flip!" Lincoln said nervously. "We don't think that at all!"
"I think that." Rusty said bluntly.
"I'm gonna throw you overboard for saying that!" Flip said angrily.
The kids begged in mercy and then the "X" symbol appeared underneath them.
Lincoln gasped. "Look! It's the "X"."
"X marks the spot!" Flip said excitedly.
"Wow! That game really is based on a real treasure map."
"Well, what are ya waiting for, lads? Dig! Dig!"
The kids began to dig. Minutes later, they dug a deep hole.
"Dig, dig, dig, dig, dig, dig, dig, dig."
"We've got it, Cap'n Flip!" Lincoln reported.
"Ha, ha. Hand it up to me, lads. Heave!" They bring the treasure up to Flip. "We finally found it!"
Flip opened up the chest. A female chorus is heard.
"The Gothic Ghost's Treasure!"
"Wow!" They all exclaimed.
"What are you guys going to do with your share?" Lincoln asked.
"I'm not sure." Clyde said. "How are you going to spend your share, Lincoln?"
"What shares?" Flip took the chest away from them. "This is all my treasure!"
"We found it together. So we deserve a share!" Lincoln pulled the chest over to his side.
"Well, I'm the captain. And I say it's mine!" Flip pulled it back.
"What about loyalty?"
The kids and the middle aged man started to fight over the chest.
"All for one!"
"And one for all!"
"All for one!"
"And one for all!"
"All for one!"
"And one for all!"
Under the beach, Grandma Harriet is seen sleeping. "I'm the Gothic Ghost Mistress." The arguing woke her up. "Who dares wake the Gothic Ghost Mistress? Keep it down will ya? I'm trying to get some sleep."
She then noticed Flip and the kids fighting over the treasure chest.
"All for one!" Flip argued.
"One for all!" The kids argued back. Lightning flashed and they all saw the elderly ghost lady.
"Who dug up the Ghost Mistress's treasure?!"
Flip shoved the chest toward the kids. "They did!"
"Arrgh!" GGM picked up the chest. "So you kids dig up my treasure?!"
They all hugged each other in fear. "Uh-huh!"
"Well, you saved me a lot of diggin' you did. So here's a reward for you kids." The ghost gave them a couple of gold doubloons.
"Wow!" Lincoln exclaimed.
Female chorus: "Gold doubloons!"
"And here's an extra for my grandson." She gave Lincoln more.
"Thanks, Grandma Harriet."
The kids take the doubloons and the ghost lady put away her treasure chest in her pocket.
"Wait! I'm captain of this crew!" Flip mentioned. "Where's my reward?"
"Hmmm, I guess you're right. A little something for your trouble." GGM tossed something to Flip.
"Gold, gold, gold, gold, gold!" He got a tiny plastic treasure chest. "Huh? Why, it's just a little plastic treasure chest!"
Female chorus: Plastic!
"Yes, but it's based on a real treasure chest." The ghost lady laughed.
"Gee, Flip, you're looking all sweaty again." Clyde said.
Grandma Harriet turned into black smoke and vanished.
