"I deserve an explanation and I'm not leaving without one." Luka stated. "Why did you leave me so close before our marriage?"
"Maybe it was a mistake and mistakes are paid for." Mari replied.
"If you say that it was a mistake that means that you regret it. I'm not asking for you to pay for that mistake, I'm asking you to come back with me." Luka stated.
"That can't be Luka. I'm sorry but I don't love you the way you love me. I wanted to be honest and I couldn't play with your emotions." Mari replied.
"Do you love another man, Iris?" Luka asked.
At that moment Roland walked in. "I'm here-"
Luka looked at him with a stern look. "This man is the explanation that you didn't dare to tell me right? Is it this man?"
Mari shook her head no. "It's not what you think-"
"It seems like we have a visitor. The world is so small if we keep bumping into each other." Roland said with a smirk.
That was the last straw for Luka and he hold Roland up by his shirt close to punching him. "You are a cynical!"
"Why don't you answer me? If dad made you pick between him and Mari, who would you choose?" Lila asked again.
"The answer is obvious without a doubt Mari." Sabine replied.
"Do you know what you're saying?" Lila asked.
"Of course. I hope that Tom never puts me in that spot because I don't plan to abandon my daughter again even if she hates me." Sabine replied.
Mari tries to go between them. "Luka please don't-"
"You knew where she was! You knew for a long time!" Luka exclaimed.
Mari kept trying to separate them. "Luka, please let him go-"
"Why are you hiding her? Why!?" Luka asked angerly.
"I have nothing to tell you." Roland said sternly.
Mari finally pushed them apart. "Enough!"
Marlena and Fu walked in the kitchen hearing the yelling. "What's going on?" They both asked at the same time.
Mari looked at Luka. "Luka, please leave please."
"So Mari was hiding in that ranch?" Edward asked Adrien after Adrien told him his situation.
"That's right Edward, do you see the situation that I'm in now." Adrien stated. "Luka loves a so called Iris whom really is Mari. He's living in my house telling me his feelings asking me for help to conquer her."
"Honestly, I wouldn't want to be in your shoes." Edward replied.
"The worst part is that I offered to help him to stay in my house and to fight for her. I helped him find her I even took him to the apartment she's staying at. Of course by that time I didn't know that it was Mari." Adrien stated.
"Well this has a solution to tell him the truth." Edward replied.
Luka left without saying a word. "He's so vague." Roland stated.
"I would say he's a better man than you." Fu said before leaving the kitchen with Marlena to see if Luka really left.
"Anyway, I just came back from buying the rights for the next play we'll do." Roland stated. "But it seems that I have to knock to enter my own home."
"I'm sorry Roland I know that I need to find a new place to live after what happened." Mari replied.
"It's torture knowing that she's there Edward. That we have a daughter and that she could've married a best friend of mine of whom I see as an older brother." Adrien stated.
"Adrien, the situation is already complicated but you are making it even more complicated." Edward replied. "Just decide Kagami or Mari."
"What do I do if Mari doesn't love me Edward?" Adrien asked.
"Than just let things go on the path that they are now. Forget about Mari." Edward stated. "Let her stay as an actress or marry whoever she wants."
"As if it was that essy to stop loving Mari." Adrien said sarcastically.
"I did it. I loved Elsa and was going to marry her but when she left me for Michael I accepted it." Edward replied.
Adrien sighs. "You either didn't love Elsa enough or you're just lying to yourself because I'm pretty sure once she's free you will want her back."
"I don't have a problem with you staying here Mari." Roland stated. "But by not knocking and instead using my key this situation happened but you don't have to leave."
Fu and Marlena walked back in. "He's actually gone we saw him leave in a taxi." Fu stated. "We'll go back with Adrienne." They walk away again.
"So why did Viperion come?" Roland asked.
"To ask me why I left him." Mari replied. "And to ask me to go back with him...since Father Carlos told me he was here I was prepared to tell him the truth but now...I didn't know that he was best friends with Adrien and everything got complicated. So far, Adrien hasn't told him anything and Luka still calls me Iris. I don't dare tell him the truth and he'll come back I know it."
"Well he thought that there was something between you and me. Let him think that so you'll get rid of him easily." Roland suggested.
Adrien was reading a book in the study when Luka walked in. "Adrien, I just came back from Iris's apartment."
"And what happened?" Adrien asked.
"I'm packing my things I'm going back to the ranch." Luka simply said angrily.
"Why? What happened Luka?" Adrien asked again.
"A big disappointment again." Luka replied. "But it's not Iris's fault it's her ex husband's fault that so called Roland, Iris is living with him."
"What will happen now?" Father Carlos asked Mari when he visited her.
"I don't know Father Carlos. Right now I'm fighting for Adrienne because she's the reason why I'm living...Adrien even came afterwards." Mari replied. "He asked me a lot of questions obviously already knowing about Adrienne."
"And what did you tell him about Adrienne?" Father Carlos asked.
"That she isn't in Paris." Mari replied.
"Why couldn't Iris be honest with me? She said that guy was only a friend and that's not true he just went in as if it was his house." Luka continued.
'Luka is confused with Roland. He thinks that Iris married him.'
"I got so mad with how cynical he acted. To think that I once found him and he said that he didn't know where Iris was. I wanted to hurt him but she went between us. It was her husband so she obviously defended him but how was she capable enough of getting back together with him. He probably begged her until she agreed or she did it for Adrienne."
"Adrienne? Did you see her?" Adrien asked.
"No, she was probably in another room. Iris can't stand being away from her no more than 5 minutes." Luka replied.
"Why did you say that Marinette?" Father Carlos asked.
"Because I'm afraid that he wants to take her away from me." Mari replied. "I want Adrienne for myself."
"I don't think that you should or could keep hiding her from him." Father Carlos stated. "Especially now...what happened between you and my nephew? Did you tell him the truth?"
"No, Viperion doesn't know anything I don't want to hurt him even more. Adrien doesn't even dare to tell him. He might even go back to his ranch and I won't see him again." Mari replied.
Later that night Mari finished her performance and bowed as everyone stood up and clapped for her. She couldn't see but in the crowd was Ruby, Alix, and Mathew. Soon as she was walking of the stage she saw them waiting for her.
"Mari said that Adrienne wasn't in Paris but Luka said otherwise...what's the truth...I need to find out." Adrien got up and left the house and headed to Mari's apartment.
Mari hugged all of them. "What a surprise guys."
"We decided to come see you." Ruby stated.
"You were amazing." Alix added.
"Thanks guys and I'm glad to see that you're doing better painter hands." Mari said using her old nickname for Mathew. "Anyway you guys can come in my dressing room." Mari leads them to her dressing room.
"Well I'm glad that someone from our group is very famous." Mathew stated.
"And it was the one we least expected it. Mari never talked about being an actress while I dreamed of being a professional roller skater maybe even a dancer." Alix added.
"And I dreamed of being a famous painter." Mathew stated. "Michael a famous writer and Jake an ophthalmologist and yet we haven't done anything."
"There's still time we are still young and it's better to start now." Mari replied.
"That's what I always tell Mathew there's more time than life." Ruby stated. "He could still be a famous painter."
"Well at least I can say that I have portraits of a famous actress." Mathew replied. "After all Mari you were my model. I had you standing still for hours and I barely had money to pay you."
"Honestly Mari you changed a lot." Ruby stated. "Anyway Mathew and I have great news." Ruby shows Alix and Mari an engagement ring she was wearing. "Mathew and I are getting married!" Alix and Mari hugged them congratulating them. "So Mari where do you live?"
Luka was packing when he remembers what happened with Mari earlier that day.
"You knew where she was! You knew for a long time!"

Marlena and Fu walked in the kitchen hearing the yelling. "What's going on?" They both asked at the same time.
Mari looked at Luka. "Luka please leave please."
"I can't believe what happened today but I won't give up. I'm going to stay in Paris and fight for Iris. I doubt that she's in love with that jerk. The ranch doesn't need me right now at least for my own good." Luka said to himself.
"Oh I'm thinking about moving but once I'm settled I'll let you guys know the address." Mari stated.
"Why don't we all go out to dinner together so we can continue talking." Mathew suggested.
"I'm sorry guys I can't go. I'm very tired from the last three profermances maybe another day." Mari stated.
They nodded and soon they left Mari's dressing room. "Why didn't you tell them where you live aren't they your friends?' Marlena who was there the whole time asked.
"If they go to my house and see Adrienne the lie I gave to Adrien will be known." Mari replied.
There was a knock on Mari's apartment and Fu opened it for Adrien to just walk in without a warning. "I want to see Adrienne." He said sternly. "Please bring her here."
"Adrienne isn't here." Fu replied.
Adrien suddenly just walked to the hallway and walked in to the only opened room which was Mari's room. When he entered he saw Adrienne in her basket and he slowly walked to her with many emotions going though him. He gently picked her up and tears of happiness started to fill his eyes. He didn't experienced that feeling since Maya was born and it felt great to him.
Fu went in the room after him but seeing the beautiful scene in front of him he couldn't tell Adrien to leave. He heard the front door opening so he left the room to see Mari entering with Marlena. "Dear, Adrien is in the room with Adrienne."
Mari quickly went to her room just as Adrien was putting Adrienne back in her basket. "What are you doing here? How many times do I have to tell you that I want nothing to do with you. Our relationship ended over a year ago."
"It ended even before that from the first night we met. The night that became a nightmare for you the night I gain your hatred." Adrien replied.
"Than why do you come back if there's nothing between us?" Mari asked.
"Of course there is Mari maybe not love or good memories but something more important there's a daughter." Adrien replied. "You did wrong in hiding her from me. Mari did you leave so I wouldn't find out? Plus, you were about to marry Luka did you intend for someone else to take my role as a father? For my daughter to have the name and protection of someone else?"
"She doesn't need any of that she only needs me." Mari said sternly.
"She also needs a father and she has it." Adrien replied just as sternly.
"You don't have to get involved between Adrienne and I." Mari stated.
"I have all the right to because it's my duty." Adrien replied. "It's my responsibility to take care of Adrienne."
"We aren't asking you for anything. I won't accept anything from you." Mari exclaimed. "I'm working for her so if that's your worry you can leave and forget about her."
"Don't worry it won't be for you but for my daughter." Adrien replied. "And how do you expect me to forget about my own daughter? How could you even think of me capable enough to abandon my own daughter? I'm not willing to give her up!"
"And who says that she's your daughter!" Mari exclaimed. "She's not...she's Roland's daughter!"
"That has to be more of your lies." Adrien stated. "But everything makes sense you were in Paris for a month after we separated and you were with him. You left so I wouldn't find out that you were pregnant and think that I was the father. Roland visited you a lot while you were at the ranch I know because Luka told me and now you're staying at his apartment. It seems that you are just a-"
Before Adrien could finish his sentence Mari slapped him hard. They stared at each other sternly before Adrien stormed out from the room and the apartment.
Fu and Marlena looked at each other before walking in Mari's room. "Dear what happened he left so mad." Fu stated.
"I slapped him." Mari replied. "He insulted me after I told him that Roland was Adrienne's father and he believed me."
"You what!? Are you insane!" Fu exclaimed. "He's going to think that you are a bad woman."
"It was the only way to get rid of him so he can leave me in peace." Mari picked up Adrienne. "I wasn't going to give up on Adrienne so easily...Roland told me to make Luka believe that there was something between us and that came in mind when I was talking to Adrien. I don't regret it Adrien left and won't come back."
"I'm not liking this at all." Fu stated.
When Adrien entered the house Ruby was waiting for him. "Adrien, you finally came I was waiting for you to see if you wanted tea before bed Luka was also waiting for you until a while ago."
"Luka is still in the house? He didn't go back to his ranch?" Adrien asked.
Ruby shook her head no. "No, by the way Alix, Mathew, and I went to see Mari perform. Honestly she's great as Juliet who would think she had talent as an actress. Roland did a gr-"
"Don't mention his name to me ever again or her." Adrien said sternly before walking away leaving Ruby confused.
"I wanted to come and see how you're doing." Mike told Kagami when he visited her the next day. "So it can be decided if the interrogation is canceled today too."
"That's not necessarily I feel better today I don't want the trail to delay any longer." Kagami replied.
"Alright today we'll use a big hit that should be for our benefit. I won't tell you so you'll react naturally when it is announced." Mike stated.
Mari thinks about what she told Adrien the night before. "I feel like I shouldn't have told Adrien that Adrienne wasn't her daughter but I won't let Adrien take her either. She will always be with me."
"I can't stand this situation anymore!" Adrien exclaimed to Edward after Audrey insulted him again.
"You're very altered Adrien don't listen to what Audrey tells you. Why don't you just tell her to leave?" Edward asked.
"I already did but she's waiting for me to be put in jail so she can keep my house." Adrien replied. "I'm so close to dragging her out."
"Well let's see if what I say today helps your case." Edward stated.
"Hay dad, have you talked to Sabine about Mari being to blame for her accident?" Lila asked Tom.
"Of course we almost argued." Tom replied.
"Mom denies to forget about Mari. She's determined to fix things with her so you guys can live as a family." Lila stated. "She's willing to do anything to achieve that."
"In that case, Sabine would have to pick between her or me." Tom replied.
"Well I recommend you to be careful because mom will stay with Mari." Lila stated.
"Where did you go last night?" Luka asked Adrien.
"I went for a walk." Adrien replied. "By the way why didn't you go back home like you said you would?"
"Why do you say that do you think that Sabine would prefer Mari over me?" Tom asked.
"It's not what I think it's what she told me." Lila replied.
"No, I don't think that she's capable of leaving me. We love each other for years." Tom stated.
"Just don't tell her that I told you. If you still care about me that is." Lila replied.
"The lawyer of the public can start the interogation." The judge stated.
The lawyer of the public stood up and walked over to Edward. "Dr. Fuller do you have any new facts about the case?"
"For the case itself no." Edward replied.
"Can you tell us anything about Miss. Kagami did you know her?" The lawyer asked and Edward shook his head no. "Than Dr. Fuller I don't understand why you were asked to declare. I'm sure it wasn't to stain the memory of the victim like others have tried to do. To do so of a poor woman who was murdered in a cruel way and who was pregnant."
"Let me clear to you that that's false. I came to clear the error of that statement. It's false that Chloe Agreste was pregnant when she died." Edward stated.
"The ranch would feel so different without Iris. I got used to her being there. I already miss her and i'll miss her even more if I go alone. Like having breakfast together or when I played my guitar to her." Luka stated.
After what happened the night before Adrien couldn't stand it anymore. "Luka can you please stop thinking and talking about her?" Adrien sighs. "I'll tell you the truth about Iris if it will stop you from thinking about her."
