Halley and Michael Wolowitz are to spend their day with their Uncle Sheldon and Auntie Amy. They're very much looking forward to it. The previous day they spent with the two were memorable and they are looking forward to another fun day with them.

With children so close in age, Howard and Bernadette appreciate any help they can have. The gang ended up devising a schedule where they'll offer a time of their month to babysit the Rostenkowski-Wolowitz children, so Howardette can go on a well-deserved date. It's Shamy's turn today and to say Sheldon's excited is an understatement.

Sheldon is ecstatic. A day with Uncle Sheldon and Auntie Amy means a day filled with science experiments, documentaries, and lectures.

Granted, when it was their first time babysitting the Rostenkowski-Wolowitz children, he huffed and pouted the whole day. Why should he spend a day with Howard's offspring? He whined the whole day Amy felt like she babysat to three.

However, after Amy reprimanded Sheldon with his inexcusable behaviour, he looked into babysitting as a way to leading the children to an academic path away from engineering. Yes, he'll take this opportunity while they're still young.

The married couple spent the day tiring the two energy-filled younglings with the experiments, documentaries to watch and schooling them with physics and neuroscience introductory lectures they prepared.

They modified their lesson for the day to fit the Rostenkowski-Wolowitz children's age. They are young and their attention span would not let them sit down on their spot for more than five minutes.

A very tiring and trying day after, the two went home with slumped shoulders. Halley and Michael sure were a handful. They really are Howard and Bernadette's offspring.

Even if Sheldon can name hundred things more worthy of his time than babysitting the Rostenkowski-Wolowitz children, he found spending the day with the kids pleasant. Their bright, wide innocent eyes, staring at him, eager to learn with whatever he'll teach them is empowering. He feel as though he is filling in as their intelligent role model. Of course, Howard's lowly Master's degree would not suffice.

A/N: Though I think Sheldon will not have high standards on Howardette's kids intellectual capacity (with the reasoning Howard is their father and jab on his job, again) this is how I'd imagine Cooper-Fowler household would be later on when they had children of their own.
