Happy Friday everyone! What a journey this story has been. I never imagined when I started writing this story years ago that this would be the end of for this one. I will miss this story greatly, but there tale has been told. It's been a bittersweet few days when working on the last few chapters of this story. I will now be able to focus on my other stories and I will be working on the last few chapters for Repeat of Life before I post any new stories. I hope to see you on a different story.

THANK YOU! For all the love you have given to me on this story. It's helped me write every chapter along the way.

Also in this chapter Zoe and Wade are 85, Will is 50 and Aurora is 45.

Enjoy!

"We didn't even have to drag you to your wedding this time," Lemon teased, as they stood in the small room, helping Zoe get ready for her renewal ceremony.

"You didn't drag me to my wedding," Zoe retorted with an eyeroll. "My lovely husband surprised me, there's a big difference," she stated, checking that her hair was in place. Her dress was a light pink floral dress with full length lace sleeves.

Since the wedding is to be taken place on the beach, and it's not the best place to wear shoes, and she's just fine with going barefoot, as it needs to be that way, as per Wade's request, they'll be standing on the edge of the water, the sea rolling over their feet when the waves roll in and out. She doesn't mind giving Wade things he wants for the vow renewal as he made their wedding all about her. So to her, this one is about the things Wade wants. The best part of the whole ceremony is that it's going to be Will and Aurora standing up to officiate the whole thing.

"We were under strict rules from your husband, we couldn't ruin the surprise," Annabeth pointed out. "I know you two are married, but someone is out there looking all sorts of cute being paranoid that he's going to be stood up at the altar," she pointed out, watching a nervous looking Wade pace on the edge of the beach.

"Then let's get this party started, ladies," Zoe smiled, satisfied with her appearance. Her gray hair pinned and sprayed into place, hopefully the wind wouldn't be too harsh on her and mess her look up too much.

It was hard to know who had the biggest smile on their face when they stood next to each other. With their arms linked together they walked up the small beach aisle to where their grown kids stood waiting for them.

"We're gathered here to celebrate the love our parents share," Aurora started to say.

"You know it's meant to be when they've been married for as old as I am," Will teased, earning some laughs. "Jokes aside, being married for 50 years is no easy feat to make. I can only wish that my own marriage lasts as long, filled with the love you share," Will said.

"We know that the best is what happens after the ceremony and that would be the reception, 8 is their bedtime," Aurora teased, earning a few chuckles and a few nods in agreement. "Dad, your vows," she prompted.

"Zoe, my love. I can't remember the vows I spoke 50 years ago today, word for word," he told her, pulling out the piece of paper and reading glasses from his pocket. "Heck, I can't remember most events from last week," he stated, earning some laughs. "I can't remember what I said, but lucky me found my original vows," he smirked.

"Why is it always me that is never prepared?" Zoe asked to a round of laughs and a small shrug from Wade.

"It's not anyone's fault but your own," Wade tusked his wife.

"Here I thought I was going to watch my parents speak volumes of love not bicker like an actual old married couple," Aurora teased.

"It's what they do. It's their own weird love for each other, we've seen it and the town has seen it," Will pointed out to his sister.

"I liked the days when we could ground them," mumbled Wade. "Zoe words aren't enough to begin to tell you how much I love you, or how much I care, because nothing comes close to perfect when compared to you, that remains the same today, 50 years worth of love and I can't find the word to best describe what we share," he smiled, clearing his throat to continue reading. "Not a single day goes by that I don't think myself lucky that I met you. I always knew that one day an angel would come and steal my heart, and here you are; I couldn't imagine anyone else in the world that I want to spend the rest of my forever with. There is no other woman I will love as much as I love you, except for Aurora," he said, turning to their guests. "And now you know, Lemon," he teased, earning laughs and groans.

"Oh so funny Wade," Lemon dryly said with a smile on her face. Wade gave her a look, turning back to Zoe.

"I will stand by you no matter what; I will be there to hold your hand, and hold you when you cry through everything I will be there with you. Zoe, you won't have to go it alone. That's a promise I have withheld these past 50 years and a promise I have no intention of breaking, as I will always remain in your heart," he added.

"Wade," whispered Zoe, blinking her tears away. Wade quickly wiped a stray tear from her cheek.

"Zoe, before I met you, I never thought I could be as happy as you make me. You make me smile no matter what mood I am in; you brighten my darkest day and always make any pain I am in go away. Before our wedding day meeting you and falling in love with you was the best thing that I have ever done, but now I can say I have done better. I can say the best thing I ever did was marry the girl of my dreams, and have two very wonderful children. I will love you forever and always," he finished repeating the very vows he once spoke, tweaking them slightly as he went.

"Alright let's see what I can recall, shall we?" Zoe asked, clearing her throat. "Would you look at that," Zoe smiled, pulling a piece of folded up paper from her dress pocket. "I was prepared this time. It helps to be privy to these things," she shared, clearing her throat. "Wade, since I was a little girl, I didn't dream up the perfect wedding, or the perfect dress, the perfect ceremony, the perfect hair, the perfect flowers, to me that wasn't what a wedding was. A wedding is bringing two people together as one, so I would dream up the perfect man. It was the day you proposed that I realized I had been blessed with my perfect man," Zoe said, taking a deep breath and getting her racing thoughts in order. "Being married to you for the last 50 years, all the fights they brought us closer, and I can say for certain that I wouldn't dare replace the man before me," she told him.

"I feel honored," he smiled.

"As you should," she teased him. "I am so blessed to be standing here today in front of our friends and family, celebrating our love and what little future we have left together. Since the day we met, you made me want to be a person worthy of your love. I know we have our moments far from perfection, but everyone here can vouch that if any two people can make it through anything, it would be you and me," she said. "I would say we have done just that," she smiled.

"I can't deny that," Wade smirked.

"Today, I can proudly and happily say that I have fulfilled the promise of proving that I was and am worthy of being your partner. That I was good enough for your love. When I look into your eyes, I see the life that others only dream about. A life filled with love and passion. There are no words that can describe to a full extent how I feel about you," she said, pausing to get her emotions in order.

"Breath, baby," Wade whispered, catching the tear ready to roll down her cheek.

"My life has been full with you in it. Everything I am today, I owe to you. You have given me a beautiful life together, two beautiful children and beautiful memories to look back on," she shared. "Wade you are my soul; you are my life; you are my everything," she finished saying.

"Growing up we saw first hand the love they share, we were often left grossed out by the affection they showed each other, but that's how we learned what love truly is. It's treating your partner as an equal, to share your duties and help in any way that you can," Will said.

"And when you fight make sure to fight away from the kids as not to frighten them," Aurora inserted. "To share such a powerful love comes the responsibility of working at making that love last, and they have conquered that feat," she added.

"You guys have lived through sickness and health, for better or worse, I would include for richer or poorer, but I have learned growing up that when you have each other you are as rich as you will ever need to be," Will stated.

"You love and cherish each other, and it really is till death do you part, for a small moment in time as you'll reunite. A love as rich as yours will never burn out, not here on Earth or in the afterlife," Aurora added to what her brother said, sharing a look with her brother.

"Will you dad retake mom as your wife?" They asked together.

"I, Wade Kinsella, take you Zoe Kinsella, to be my wife, to have and to hold for as long as we both shall live," he replied. "I do," he smiled.

"Will you mom retake dad to be your husband?" Will and Aurora asked in unison.

"I, Zoe Kinsella, take you Wade Kinsella, to be my husband, to have and to hold for as long as we both shall live," she repeated what her husband had said. "I do," she smiled.

"Go on and kiss your bride," Will urged, smiling at the love his parents still hold for each other. He could only be as lucky in his own marriage.

As they sat curled up together on the love seat on the back porch of the small house rented for the next few days, they wore matching smiles, listening as the waves crashed against the shoreline. They didn't need to make small talk or chat about anything to fill the silence between them. They've come to enjoy being in the others embrace letting the silence descend over them, their love spoke volumes.
