Author's Note: ...So I've been gone for more than two months. Very sorry about this but I was once again stumped mainly because I didn't know how to properly deliver this filler, but it did give me time to make some choices. From now on this story will have a fixed timeline, it will not concede with present time as clearly, that gap between the days with episodes are going to annoy me. For instance this episode is taking place on February 16th, 2021. A day before the Nintendo direct. The next plotline is after this episode and will lead us into the mid season. But from now on there is a fixed timeline.

I also did get inspiration for a new story currently up on Ao3 you can check that out if you want to just simply go to that website and look up Danganronpa Multiverse of Despair.

I also want to take time to state that after this season is done I would wish to turn my attention to rewriting the rest of Season 1 before I begin Season 7. It's about time I get those out of the way. For now onto reviews, the first one is from ultimateCCC.

"They say talking to someone in a coma might help with recovery; not exactly a coma expert.
February is coming which means Valentine's Day as well as someone's birthday too."

Yeah I'm not sure how long I plan to have Kamui in a coma. But she'll be out of the story for a while. And yes I never did do a proper Valentine's Day episode, unless you count Season 5's Problems With Love as a related episode. Next review is from Generic Smash Bros. Fan.

"Finally, the One Winged Angel is at the mansion ... along with Dribble, Spitz, Maruki, Wolf's Crew, and a few more ARMS characters. great. for now the return of this story is great. We will see how this new arc / season unfolds. and also curious who will be the villain of this season. I don't know why I feel it's Dimentio from Super Paper Mario."

I have big plans for this season with some of the new residents, though is Dimentio the one that's been causing the interferences? I may want to look into this. Last review is from Derick Lindsey, like last time cut down due to how long it was. Just the major things I have responses to.

"I guess that this Sephiroth staying at the mansion is from the ff7 remake. We finally find out why Corrin was hesitant on going back to Valla because he felt like he didn't deserve to rule over it when Kamui did most of the work (also apparently Nintendo retconned Corrin and Azura being cousins so now they aren't related but if you wanna keep them as cousins I won't mind). I hope Kamui will be alright though and I don't trust Maruki quite yet with being a therapist for the residents of the mansion after what he did to "Kasumi", also I wonder if you plan on bringing strikers into this saga after covering Royal or skip past that.

I feel like the voice at the end is Dimentio since he mentioned bringing an idea to the count (which could be Count Bleck) and the general mannerism reminds me of him too. Oh almost forgot is there a plan for a minor reference to the new Bowser's fury mode when 3D World gets re released on the switch or just skipped over as well.

The Sephiroth in the mansion does indeed have the appearance of the one in the remake. As for Corrin and Azura I had no clue Nintendo retconned that they were cousins. I'm gonna keep them as cousins though for the sake of the story (Not to mention some fics I read on Ao3 kept them as cousins anyway.) And as for P5S I don't plan on getting to it right away. After Royal is wrapped up here we'll be shifting focus away from the phantom thieves because god knows I've had them in the limelight for long enough. The voice behind those interferences does sound like Dimentio but I'll need to look more into it.

As for Bowser's Fury… I may or may not have a themed episode planned for the latter half of this season. For now let's get onto the filler episode.

Season 6 episode 5: Late Night Activities
(January 2021)(7:00 PM)

Things have calmed down in the mansion for the most part. There have been tensions when it came to Sephiroth being around, but many relaxed once he made it clear he wasn't causing trouble. This allowed Master Hand to fully focus on something he had been planning for a while now. Which is a game night.

He does remember how the residents held a party behind his back over two years ago. So he felt that if they want to have a night of fun then he would organize it himself. With help from Isabelle the two have many ideas set up for things to be done around the mansion for tonight. All that was left now was to announce it and set it all up. First of course was dinner.

As always everyone was at the table in the dining room in their own conversation while dinner was going on. With the cooks as always having theirs in the kitchen. Once table in particular had the phantom thieves sitting around it, including Maruki. They were mostly going over adventures in the metaverse. Eventually Ryuji laughed at something he just remembered before saying, "Remember that time we had different people drive Mona's van form in Mementos."

"Oh don't remind me," Ann said in exasperation. "We nearly died."

"What precisely happened," Haru had asked, having not been a part of the team yet when it happened.

"Well a bit after Futaba joined us. You see what happened is that Mona and I argued on something and got me riled up," Ryuji explained.

"That's not exactly what happened and you know it," Morgana said from where he was on the table.

"Shaddup! Anyways so I decided to drive next and I got nervous being at the wheel and all. But I was able to get the confidence to do it and started driving!" He said this with full confidence himself while the others let a sweat drop.

"Not only was the car in reverse but he floored it, and well for lack of better terms we went spinning," Makoto stated. "Ryuji then pulled the parking brake and we skidded to a stop right next to a wall. After that, someone else took the wheel."

"That being me," Yusuke said, taking over. "I read a book once so I knew what I was doing. One problem."

"He was going too slow for mementos and that caused the Reaper to come after us," Ann said. "We managed to get out of there and to a safer spot in mementos."

"After that, cue another argument and well… I think you get the picture at this point," Futaba stated.

"So you all took turns behind the wheel before eventually getting back to Kurusu I assume," Maruki stated, which got nods from many. "I guess you all needed driving lessons."

"We arranged for that back home on some days," Makoto said. "I would handle it in reality while Joker had domain in the metaverse."

At another table in the dining room was Corrin, Cloud, Link, and Ike. Corrin specifically was more or less just staring at his food rather than eating it. He was still trying to process the fact that Kamui was in a coma with no clear date of waking. "You gonna eat Corrin," Cloud asked. He then proceeded to get no response from the dragon prince. Cloud simply grumbled and asked Ike, "How did anyone even get him out of the infirmary?"

Ike (Radiant Hero): He didn't even resist getting picked up, he was just broken. I couldn't get any answers out of him.

"I had to pick him up and bring him over here," Ike said. The radiant then continued to eat the chicken that was on his plate. "It's been weeks at this point, this really has taken a hit on him."

"Well… is there anything we can do to bring him out of it," Link asked.

"Give him time, everyone needs time to grieve over a loss of some kind," Cloud simply stated as he cleaned up his area. "If he's still not talking by the end of the month we can snap him out of it then." As the ex-SOLDIER threw his food away and took one quick glance at Sephiroth. The one-winged angel kept true to his word of not causing too much trouble, though there have been some things done in jest on Cloud. Nothing he got in trouble over it was just to annoy him, if anything he only got in trouble for accidentally waking up a whole floor of residents one night.

Cloud (ex-SOLDIER): Sephiroth was introduced to a speaker and after learning some things decided to do the old trick of placing one in my room while I was asleep and then playing it at full blast. He didn't count on two things. 1. I immediately destroyed the speaker and went back to sleep. And 2. He woke up the whole floor as well. Master Hand is prioritizing soundproofing our rooms tonight while we're busy to keep things like that from happening again.

At that point Master Hand came in for the announcements regarding the plan tonight. "Hello residents, as discussed this is the game night for everyone here at the mansion. Rooms that'll be open for the extended time are the Auditorium, Ballroom, Game room, Arcade Room, and Billiards Room. I'm calling lights-out at 2 AM tonight. So please don't stay up much longer after I call it in," Master Hand explained. "Now I have some work to do tonight so please don't interrupt me."

Once dinner had been cleaned up the activities had begun, a group of the younger fighters consisting of Toon Link, Villager, Bowser Jr., 2021 Trucy, Luke Triton, and Lucas have decided to form up for a movie night. There was one problem, when they asked Master Hand he said it would be fine, but he requested that someone would watch over them to make sure they all got to bed on time. He wanted at least three trustworthy adults with them.

While the kid waited in the auditorium, the two adults that had already agreed, being Phoenix Wright and Wolf, would search for the third one to join them. "So who do you think is gonna want to sit down and watch movies for the night instead of doing anything else," Wolf said as the two walked down the hallway.

"I'm surprised you even agree," Phoenix said in genuine surprise. "I would've figured you'd have a friendly competition on one of the games with your team or something."

"Believe me, I didn't exactly plan to do this either, but your daughter makes it hard to say no," Wolf muttered as his excuse. Phoenix could hear it though and sent a hidden smirk towards the mercenary's way.

The former defense attorney then decided to get them back on topic. "We could try Bowser? After all, his son is with us in the auditorium right now. I'd imagine he would want to keep an eye on him."

"Does Master Hand really trust him to watch over a full room of kids though?"

"He trusted you to keep an eye on them."

"...touche," Wolf stated as the two turned into the game room, which was where Bowser happened to be. The koopa king himself was at one of the card tables, he looked like he was practicing card tricks.

Bowser (Koopa King): I figured I'd learn something cool for Junior to brag about to all his buddies about. So I figured card tricks were the way to go! Sure, they're hard to pull off, but it'll be worth it in the end.

Phoenix and Wolf ended up approaching Bowser with the former asking, "Practicing some card tricks Bowser?" He then picked up a couple of the cards himself and flipped them around. "Yeah that'll take some time."

"Wright, Wolf, is there a reason you two came to talk to me," Bowser asked as he attempted to do a trick. The trick failed though and the card fell off the table. "As you can see I'm practicing."

"We were wondering if you were willing to watch over the young ones with us during their movie marathon," Wolf said. "Your son is within the group."

"I'm not sure I'm the one you'd want to trust with four youngins, excluding my son there," Bowser said as he picked up the card. "Besides I want to be able to get this card trick down tonight, the movie will make it hard for me to focus."

"You know you've already skewed your chances of pulling it off because you're not wearing anything with long sleeves right," Wolf said, crossing his arms. Phoenix looked at Bowser with an eyebrow raised, only now noticing that mistake too.

"I'll be the first one to do it without the sleeves, just you watch," Bowser growled.

"Well Wolf, let's see if we can find someone else," Phoenix said as he began to turn around. He then smirked when he was sure Bowser couldn't see his face. "Guess Bowser won't be a cool father for Junior."

Bowser stood up immediately at this. "You know what? Watching a bunch of movies with the young ones sounds rather appealing. I'll head to the auditorium right away." With that the Koopa king was off, down the halls. The two casted knowing looks at each other before following after the koopa king.

In the ballroom setting up the karaoke machine once again was Zelda and Impa. The two mainly doing it again due to having experience with it the last time over 2 years ago. As they were getting it set up Joker walked over and saw the machine. "Ah, a karaoke machine. It's been awhile since I saw one of these," he said as he examined it.

"You have one," Impa asked the phantom thief leader.

"Oh no, there was one at a place where our group ate at before," Joker said. He then stroked his chin as he got an idea. "You know I may be able to sing something myself."

"Oh no," Dark Pit said as he walked onto the stage. "I admit I would trust you more with the machine than Link, but I still don't trust you to keep us from losing our ears."

"Maybe you should give Joker a chance with this Dark Pit," Zelda said as she got up, leaving Impa alone with the machine once again.

"Last time I gave someone a chance they gave one of the worst performances I've ever seen."

"Well I guess it is-a good thing I don't-a have you down to-a work the karaoke machine this-a time," Mario said as he walked up and onto the stage. "Dark Pit, if-a you don't want to be-a here you can-a head to another room. I have someone else-a working the machine this-a time."

"Who is it," Impa asked. The group then watched as Mythra walked onto the stage. "You're one of the recent ones?"

"Yes, my name is Mythra. Mario asked me to work the machine since I wasn't doing anything. He also said you just shut it down entirely after one person caused a discourse in the room," Mythra said. "So I'm gonna be a bit more fair."

"You think you can work that thing," Dark Pit said. "Not the kinda thing you'd find in your world."

"You figured it out. Can't be too hard," Mythra said. Dark Pit then looked like a vein popped in him while Joker had to stifle his laughter.

Dark Pit (The Dark Clone): I admit I walked right into that one. But no one burns me and gets away with it. Gonna show her who's boss.

"Okay now listen here," Dark Pit said as he approached the aegis. Mario looked on warily. "No one makes those kinds of remarks with me and gets away with it."

"You're gonna be wasting all of our time if you decide to have a battle right here, right now," Mythra said, crossing her arms.

"Hmph. Just telling you for future reference. Don't tick me off, you won't be a happy camper," Dark Pit said. He then realized at that moment he had pulled his bow out threateningly and put it away. He then walked off the stage and out of the ballroom.

"Hopefully he doesn't cause too much trouble if he comes back," Zelda said. She then got a thumbs up from Impa. "Okay the machine is ready. I'm going to go find Link now."

"Enjoy the night, princess," Mario said as Zelda walked off the stage. Impa followed shortly after. "Joker you are-a free to sing if-a you want. Just be-a sure to-a not to do it right away. Maybe wait for-a bit before singing." Joker gave Mario a nod as the red plumber walked off the stage.

In the Arcade room things were livelier than ever. As a way to utilize the game night to its full potential Ken and Little Mac decided to host a quick eight person tournament with the Street Fighter II machine. Only ones that weren't allowed to enter were the ones from that game itself, since they would know how they all work in the game.

"Okay thank you to everyone that decided to sign up for this," Ken said as he gathered everyone's attention in the room. "You are of course free to use the other games while you wait for your match. We just need to confirm who our eight participants will be using." The fighter then looked at the clipboard he was holding and started at the top. "Okay let's see uh… Snake? You will be using Guile, correct?"

"Yep," Snake stated.

"Okay and then your opponent is gonna be King Dedede. Who will be using Honda right," Ken asked. Dedede nodded and walked forward. Snake then followed and got his own controls ready as the two selected their characters and got into the fight.

Watching among the group of people was Sakura Kasugano, Chun-Li, and Eight. The swordsman in question had a question for Sakura. "So how come you're not in this game like the others."

"Probably because I wasn't even a fighter at all yet at the time this happened," Sakura answered. "Later on though I ended up getting inspired by Ryu and may or may not have traveled around the world in order to find him and asked to be his apprentice." She sheepishly placed a hand on the back of her hand.

"What, were you a stalker," Eight asked.

"What?! No," Sakura said, offended and embarrassed.

"She was," Chun-Li bluntly said. She then watched as Sakura crossed her arms and faced the interpol agent. "She's moved past it though for the most part. She's currently in university though."

"Okay how did you even know the university part," Sakura asked Chun-Li.

"Ryu talked about how he bumped into you once," Chun-Li replied.

Meanwhile the victory sound effect could be heard as the group looked to see that Dedede had been defeated by Snake.

King Dedede (Self Proclaimed King): In my defense it is really hard to do the input commands with these gloves. ...Why didn't I take them off? It wouldn't matter if I took them off or not. *takes off gloves* My hands still look the same.

Maruki had gotten well settled into the mansion since he had arrived and even had his own office now on one of the empty rooms of the first floor in the main building. He had been busy with his own work. A couple residents had actually stopped by and talked. While most of them had been phantom thieves there were also ones from other worlds. Decidueye had come in to talk about the battle of Seattle and the sacrifice Incineroar had made, Byleth had walked in as well. Maruki didn't think he could hear a war more gruesome than how the former professor described. He was glad Byleth planned on distancing himself from his home for a bit, if Byleth thought it would be best for himself then he wouldn't judge.

Maruki was fully expecting to head over to his room and go to sleep tonight. The others could stay up the full night, but this kind of night wasn't for him. He then heard a knock on his door. "It's… open," he said, confused. He didn't know who could possibly come at this time. He began to understand though as the door opened to reveal Ike dragging Corrin in. He had heard of Kamui falling into a coma of course.

"I'm sorry to interrupt you like this Dr. Maruki, but Corrin has been an empty shell since Kamui slipped into the coma," Ike said. "I want to see if you can talk to him. I'll be back in a couple hours." With that the radiant hero left the room.

"Well, I'm glad you came to Corrin. Even if you did it unwillingly," Maruki said as Corrin sat down on the nearby couch. Maruki then went ahead and sat down in the chair nearby. "So if we could start with some basic things. For instance, any specific reasons why you're here."

"I thought that part was obvious," Corrin stated. Maruki was slightly shocked, knowing this was the first time he spoke this night. "My sister is in a coma with no clear signal on when she could wake up. For all I know she could be sleeping forever and there's nothing I can do about it."

Maruki looked at his clipboard, pondering what his next question could be. He then got an idea. "Now that I think of it, you two were separated before weren't you? When you were young? Perhaps you could tell me more about that. It may give me a better idea of the bond between you two."

"Okay I guess. I guess it started when I was taken from Hoshido," Corrin stated. Maruki looked at the clock, knowing they were going to be here for a while. Not that he minded.

Back in the game room, 2028 Trucy had decided to put on a magic show for the residents in the room. Not too many were watching other than Pit, who looked like a kid in a candy store. "I'd like to thank you all for taking the time tonight to come. Even if it's just you so far Pit," Trucy said as she prepared her next trick.

As Trucy was doing that Link and Zelda were off to the side in the room at one of the card tables. They were mostly talking about the time travel developments that had happened. "We haven't had anyone else come for awhile since Sephiroth showed up," Link said.

"Think things may finally be calming down for the time being," Zelda had asked. Link then shook his head, indicating that he did not believe that to be the case. "Who else do you think could show up?"

"That's the thing it could be anyone really, ourselves included maybe. Personally though from my world I can probably think the old champions would potentially show up," Link speculated.

"Ah that's right, you told me of the four that died trying to defeat Calamity Ganon," Zelda said, to which Link nodded. "Their names were Mipha, Revali, Urbosa, and Daruk. If I'm not mistaken."

"Yep, as you also know they all died in that first fight against Calamity Ganon and now they help me as spirits today," Link said. He then crossed his arms saying, "I still don't know why they didn't implement them into my moveset though."

"I guess they didn't want to change it too much other than the final smash and bombs," Zelda said.

"And now for my next act," Trucy shouted out, causing many heads to turn her way. They then watched as she rolled out a long box and opened the door. "I will make a volunteer disappear! Anyone?"

Trucy noticed Pit was raising his hand but she did her best to avoid picking him. Instead she looked around and pointed right at Eliwood saying, "Lord Eliwood! Why don't you come up here?"

Trucy Wright 2028 (Child of Magic): Don't get me wrong. I'm very glad Pit's enjoying the show, but I kinda want to get more people involved to get more interested in watching.

Eliwood looked at the box with a bit of concern as he was pushed over to it by Roy and Lilina, who were both by him. "Ah you sure about this Ms. Wright. Not that I doubt you it's just. There's a lot that could go wrong here."

"Oh, it won't be a problem," Trucy said, trying to reassure the lord. Eliwood then finally relented and stepped in. Trucy then closed the door. Trucy then tapped the door twice with her wand. "And now I shall make Lord Eliwood disappear!" Trucy then swung open the door, revealing that Phoenix was indeed gone. "Ta-da!"

There were some claps among the game room, especially Pit who was clapping like a maniac. It was all interrupted then when King K. Rool shouted, "Boooooooo! That's a nice trick but there's clearly a revolving door in there."

"I don't know what you're talking about. This is all there is," Trucy said.

"Don't let him rile you up Trucy," Zelda said. "Why don't you go ahead and make Eliwood reappear?"

"Okay you got it," Trucy said with a thumbs up. She then went ahead and tapped the box before exclaiming. "And with a tap of the box, I make Lord Eliwood, reappear!" She then opened the door… only to reveal that Eliwood was still missing. Trucy noticed the confused faces and looked inside the box. "Okay that's unusual…"

Rool was about to open his mouth before the intercom flared to life with Master Hand's voice coming through. "Would anyone like to explain to me how Lord Eliwood ended up in the vault?" The kremling king then proceeded to gawk in shock as Trucy ran over to the intercom.

Ken and Little Mac's Street Fighter II tournament would continue to go smoothly to the semi-finals. Ken has his clipboard ready for the first match of that one. "Okay so our next match is gonna be on the right side of the bracket instead of the left, since Snake went to the bathroom. So those two are gonna be Ryuji, who's using Ryu and then Banjo who is using Chun-Li."

Both Ryuji and Banjo stepped forward from their respective places. Kazooie was off to the side since Ken had forbidden Banjo from having two sets of eyes while playing. "You're going down bear," Ryuji said as he gripped the controls.

"I think it'll be you that goes down," Banjo said. There was a bit of silence after that with Kazooie looking at Banjo if that was really the best he could come up with. "I'm not good at trash talk okay."

"Well then it's a good thing that's not the point of this tournament," Little Mac said. Everyone then watched as the two chose their characters and the match began.

Among the onlookers from before was Ann and Yusuke, both wanting to show support to Ryuji in the game. Morgana was with them for once instead of sticking with Joker, he was next to Yusuke. "I'll be honest I'm surprised Ryuji made it past the first round," Morgana said.

"Hey, don't be mean Morgana. Ryuji's been practicing for this since Ken announced he was gonna do this. He did ask Futaba to help him after all," Ann said.

Futaba Sakura (The Hermit): Yeah Ryuji asked me to help him prepare. It took quite a few hours but we got to a point he felt confident with. I offered to tell him a few cheat codes, but he said he wanted to win fair and square.

Little Mac (Best Boxer in the Ring): I'm glad Futaba didn't tell him any cheats. We would be forced to disqualify him.

Yusuke nodded. "That is determination indeed, but why would he go through that trouble?"

"What do you mean Yusuke," Morgana asked. Actually curious where this conversation was going.

"Well Ryuji is not one I would know for actually practicing something again and again, even for video games. He's a procrastinator normally, so I wonder if he's trying to impress someone," Yusuke said.

Ann seemed to wince for a bit before saying, "Now that you mention it does sound more like him. But still, to think he actually took the time to get better at something. Makoto will be all over him about studying though if she finds out about it."

"Yeah, for his sake let's keep it between us. I can only wonder who he's trying to impress though," Morgana said. The sound effects then went off as it announced that Ryuji had one. "Wow! Looks like he's moving onto the finals!"

"Is Snake back from the bathroom yet," Ken asked the one standing watch of the doorway, Decidueye. "If he doesn't get here in about five minutes we will have to disqualify him."

"I haven't seen him come back yet," Decidueye said. Ken walked back in the arcade room, wondering where the hell the spy could've gone.

Just so happens that the spy was called away by Otacon, he was simply just lying about going to the bathroom. "So Otacon, why did you call me out to the shed. If I don't get back to the arcade soon they're going to disqualify me."

"I promise you this shouldn't take long," Otacon said as he spun around in his chair and pressed a couple buttons. "I need a second opinion on something, I feel like something time related is probably about to happen but it looks different than the vortexes."

"What do you mean by that," Snake asked. Otacon then showed one of the recent clips from the surveillance system. It looked like something began fading into existence before fading out again. "That doesn't look like something that comes through time."

"Yes, and that is what confuses me. If not time then either another world or an alternate reality of some kind," Otacon stated. "I don't have enough evidence of anything happening though in order for me to come to a conclusion."

"Should we bring this up to Master Hand," Snake asked.

"I already did a couple days ago," said the AI stationed within the shed. "Master Hand has stated that he doesn't know what this could mean either, but his tone suggests that while he isn't sure he may have an idea."

"So it could have something to do with either our stories or someone else's," Otacon said. He then turned to the AI and typed in a couple keys. "Can you bring up any residents that have yet to complete part of their story from any games?"

"Well other than obviously Phoenix Wright, there's Professor Layton, Luke Triton(1), The Phantom Thieves, Dr. Wily stills needs to do a few things, Aerith from the point of time she comes from, Alucard, Isaac, and I believe that would be it."

"Okay that leaves a few possibilities," Snake said. The spy then crossed his arms as he turned to leave. "Now while I would like to continue this conversation I do still have a tournament match to get back to. I'll be back one I'm done, and if I don't see you have a good night Otacon."

"I'll see you soon or in the morning Snake," Otacon said as he got back to his personal work.

Hal Emmerich (Otacon): We know that Phoenix's story is about five years away from continuing. I don't know about Layton, Wily, Isaac, or the Phantom Thieves. Aerith can't continue hers because she's effectively stuck here till further notice.

The ballroom was having a relaxing time this night since things had now been set up. No one had done the karaoke yet, though that could be because of what happened last time. Mythra was still keeping watch though in case anyone decided they were going to.

Within the ballroom's group itself was Ike, Marth, and Lucina. All three were talking about the developments with Kamui. "So she still hasn't woken up according to Wii Fit Trainer," Lucina solemnly asked. Ike nodded in response. "I'm glad to take Corrin to Maruki."

"Yes, if there's anyone that can at least help Corrin it would be him. I wouldn't be surprised if he's dealt with anyone grieving someone in a coma before," Marth hero-king then shook his head. "That aside is anyone going to actually go up there and sing."

His question would get answered as Mythra grabbed the microphone and asked, "Is anyone actually going to sing? Because if not I'm just going to shut the machine down." Joker was about to do it, but decided not to. "No one? Fine then, I guess we're shutting it down."

Mario (Mr. Nintendo): Karaoke is just-a not as-a popular as it was anymore is it?
Peach (Princess of the Mushroom Kingdom): Well, things change Mario. I'm very sorry.

"Well that answers that," Ike said. The trio of sword fighters then noticed Corrin walking up to them. "Corrin? I didn't hear you were done, you could've texted me."

"Don't worry about it Ike," Corrin said, shocking the three. That has got to be the first word he said to them in weeks. It was almost as if they were starting to get used to him being silent. "Maruki and I chatted and well, while it's still going to be hard for me. I'm going ot try my best to continue my life here and keep up hope that Kamui will wake up."

"Glad to hear that," Lucina said with a sad smile. "I hope she wakes up soon too."

"We can visit her before we go to sleep if you'd like," Marth said. He was looking at the clock and noticed it was getting close to lights out, just where did the time go?

"I wouldn't mind that," Corrin said with a small smile.

In another part of the ballroom was Joker and Kasumi. With the latter asking, "So why didn't you sing, I thought you were going to do that?"

"I was, but I realized what I was thinking of was a duet and I would need a partner for that," Joker said. He then noticed Kasumi crossed her arms as if she was telling him she would have asked her. "Not that kind of partner Kasumi."

Kasumi sighed, knowing what he was thinking. "We need to keep patience, Kurusu-senpai. Maybe we'll be able to see him again soon."

"...Maybe."

It was time for the final match of the Street Fighter tournament in the arcade room. A good chunk of the spectators have opted to go in bed at this point but many remained. The last match was between Ryuji and Shulk. Snake unfortunately didn't make it in time earlier and was disqualified by Ken. He was explaining his reasoning to Little Mac right now though as the round began.

"So Otacon believes something is afoot," Little Mac asked Snake as the spy explained himself.

"Yes, keep it to yourself okay," Snake asked, Little Mac responded in response. "If you see anything suspicious or out of the ordinary let me know."

"Got it, nothing will get past me," Little Mac said. As he said that King Dedede walked past the two of them, saying he was going to bed. "Starting now."

"Good, don't say anything," Snake warned again. They then heard cheering at that point and both looked to see that Shulk had beaten Ryuji. "Guess it's over."

"Thanks to you all for coming," Ken said as the clock struck 1:45. "Looks like we may want to start preparing to go to sleep. Good night everyone." With that many of the residents began to leave the arcade room.

"Ah man, I was so close too," Ryuji said in his own defeat.

"Well maybe you should've practiced a bit more," Morgana snarked as he,Yusuke, and Ann walked up to the former track runner.

"What do you think I've been doing," Ryuji shouted. "I mean one of you saw me practicing with Futaba earlier today right?"

"Yes I did happen to see that, so onto more important questions. Who were you trying to impress," Yusuke asked.

"What the eff dude?! You thought I was trying to impress someone, I just wanted to try and win the tournament," Ryuji said. He then slumped in defeat. "But I guess I need to go back to the drawing board."

"Ah don't say that Ryuji. I mean you made it to the finals, that's still pretty good," Ann said.

"Oh really. Thanks I guess,' Ryuji said with a sudden smile. He then yawned at that point and noticed Morgana was glaring at him for a strange reason. "Anyways, it is starting to get late so may as well go to sleep."

"Yes, after that excitement I find myself exhausted as well," Yusuke said before walking out of the arcade room. The three followed after him.

Later that night…
Joker's room (no cameras)

Joker was lying down face up on his bed as normal. Slowly though he felt as if his body was being swept away to another place in his dreams…

Velvet Room

Soon enough Joker opened his eyes to find himself in the same opened cell as he had many times before. He shot up from where he was lying as he realized where he was. Before he could recall the name of the place he heard a voice say, "We meet again trickster," to him.

"Lavenza," Joker said in shock as he stood up and walked out of the cell. He then looked around to see the Velvet Room once again, and a certain man sitting at a desk hunched over. "Igor?"

"We meet again trickster, it has indeed been awhile," Igor said. He then changed his position saying. "You're probably wondering why the velvet room looks the way it does, well… Lavenza, tell him if you please?"

"Something has happened recently and it has caused you to believe that you may still be imprisoned. While you're able to walk around freely the velvet room still takes this form for you," Lavenza explained which shocked Joker greatly. "Something is about to happen that may shake the bonds of reality as well as what you may think you know of a friend of yours."

"Why are you telling me all of this," Joker asked.

"I felt it best to warn you of what's to come. Unfortunately I do not have answers of what's going to happen. So for now all we can do is prepare, if there are any old fusions or rituals you wish to perform at any point during this time you are free to do so. Hopefully we can figure out soon," Igor said. "That is all for now, you'll know where to go when the time is right.'

With that Joker felt himself fading out of consciousness again, going back to his peaceful sleep.

Unaware that the fabric of reality was about to be challenged.

To Be Continued...

Author's Note: Up next is the Persona 5 Royal plotline that will last from next episode to episode 9. And remember we are now permanently on a fixed timeline, the next episode takes place on the 20th of February this year.

(1) I'm calling that the Ace Attorney/Professor Layton crossover game happened between Miracle Mask and Azran Legacy since those released before and after the crossover game. As such the Professor Layton timeline has yet to do Azran Legacy and The Millionaires' Conspiracy in this story.
