Kouga felt the other wolf's scrutiny repeatedly fall to Kagome's backpack and groaned inwardly. Reaching out, he plucked the yellow strap from the girl's shoulder, tugging it free.
Kagome squawked in surprised protest, clutching the other band.
"Give it to me," he ordered, issuing a growl that usually left his subordinates cowering. "Now woman."
Her jaw fell and then snapped closed at the warning in his gaze.
