Mrs. Starscorder was devastated, to say the least...

All of those months gone to waste...

All those hard-working artists work just gone to waste...

All of those months of planning all gone to waste...

It was the art class last period today. And well, the spirits were definitely low today. I mean, what could they say? The prank was left with no closure, as Flash had proved them all wrong.

But more importantly, the play was cancelled.

It was the toughest call Mrs. Starscorder had to make earlier in the day. There was no way she could meet the schedule given the messed-up auditorium and the destroyed props and sets.

But, she wasn't willing to make the art kids work on new sets during the semester. That would jeopardize their grades. So, she didn't have any other choice. She had to break tradition and cancel the show. Something she hadn't done since she started teaching nearly 13 years ago.

Her head was down, buried in her arms. Feeling a flurry of sad emotions. All while most of the class sat around her, trying to comfort the sad teacher.

"Come on, Mrs. Starscorder. Cheer up!" Pinkie Pie said, "Just because the play can't still doesn't take away from the fact you're the best drama teacher ever!"

"Yeah!" Rainbow Dash added, "So what if the play was ruined, you're still Lodestar-No the cities most awesomest drama teacher ever. You don't need the school play to prove yourself!"

The teacher sighed, lifting her head up to see the students all give her reassuring smiles. All while tears were still streaming down her eyes.

She smiled, as their words did bring her spirits up a bit, "Thank you, everyone, for your support. But..." She frowned, "I-I don't know. I mean it's been a school tradition for at least a decade. Plus all the hard work everyone did was just flushed down the toilet." She sighed, wiping her tears "B-But it's not like it matters who did it. The school play is ruined and there's no way of repairing it..."

Everyone frowned at that. Seeing their despaired teacher and whatnot. They all just wanted to get revenge for her, finding who was actually responsible and giving them a lesson in humility.

But...

It wasn't like that was gonna happen.

Their alleged suspect turned out to be innocent and that was all anyone could go off of. I mean, nobody else in the school's history was more infamous of a prankster than Flash Sentry was.

Speaking of which...

Flash got off his phone, intentionally dragging his chair back to make a loud screech across the floor. Getting up and putting his phone away, "Well, this is just pathetic."

With the exception of the teacher, everyone all widened their eyes for a moment. As he drew attention to himself. Before scowling and glaring at him for that snide comment he just made.

Especially Rarity, "Excuse me?! You-"

"Can it..." Flash rolled his eyes, before giving the teacher glance, "I'm clocking out for today, seeing how the odds of us doing anything are rather slim to none. So I think it's rather pointless to be here."

At this point, Mrs. Starscorder was just done. She was just done with everything that she couldn't be bothered to say otherwise.

"Whatever..."

Flash shrugged, turning around. "Well, that's not the cruellest thing you've ever said to me."

But the class did not take to that so lightly. They all couldn't believe the nerve on him, just hitting the teacher with a disrespectful shot while she's clearly down at the moment. That was just...disgusting.

Fluttershy especially...

She found herself fuming at that comment. As she got up in a huff and followed after him. Catching her other classmates off guard.

She was mad, more than it in fact. She full-on snapped and snarled at Flash.

"THAT'S LOW SENTRY, EVEN FOR YOU!"

Flash didn't even budge, as he just kept walking. A clear indication that he wasn't interested in dealing with her.

But no, Fluttershy was not gonna take that for an answer. She ran forward and after him. Managing to run past him and stop right in front of him. Putting her hands out, not wanting him to go any further.

Flash just stared back at her blankly. Clearly uninterested in what she was doing.

"Move."

"YOU PUSHED DOWN OUR TEACHER LIKE THAT, JERK!" Fluttershy angrily bellowed, "WHAT'S YOUR PROBLEM!"

Flash had no time for this, there was another route to where he wanted to go. So he turned around, just deciding to take the other way down the hallway...

If only the rest of the class hadn't come to block his way as well. All glaring at him intensely for how he just acted back there.

"Fluttershy's right!" Rainbow Dash scoffed, "You're just an arrogant ass!"

"Have you looked in the mirror recently?"

Rainbow Dash gritted her teeth but managed to hold back her anger. As by now, she caught on that she would just spark a long back and forth between the two of them.

Flash rolled his eyes, "Look, I was just saying what was on my mind. I don't see why you all are offended."

"If you got nothin' nice to say then don't, Sentry!" Applejack scoffed.

"Ironic..." Flash shrugged, turning around as it'd be easier to just go the original route. "Look, can you move. I've had my fun with you all, the game's over for today."

Fluttershy intensified her glare, "GAME!? This is a GAME TO YOU!?" She bellowed, "WE"RE NOT YOU'RE TOYS YOU UNEMPATHETIC PRICK!"

Flash sighed, this was just sad now. He really did have no reason to talk to them anymore.

So he decided to set it straight.

"You're stupid.." He said calmly. Prompting Fluttershy to widen her eyes at that insult. But he went on, "Look, I'm pretty sure we've already been through this shlick this morning. So I'm not gonna be a broken record." He narrowed his eyes on her, "Now, move."

Fluttershy tried to keep her ground. Shooting another glare at the blank teenager. As he stood there clearly unamused. She didn't know how to respond to what he just said. But she had to keep her ground, there was no way she was gonna let Flash just rudely talk to the teacher and just walk off.

But then, the unexpected happened...

"Guys, just stop..."

Everyone (except Flash) widened their eyes to hearing Sunset Shimmer just saying that. As he emerged from the crowd from the opposite side.

Fluttershy widened her eyes, as this was something that was indeed unexpected. "S-Sunset?"

"There's no point..." Sunset sighed, "I mean, it's not like he did it. And dragging this on is just a big waste of time." She walked up to Flash, shooting him a glare, "You're happy right? You win...You were right and we were wrong. Is that what you wanted us to say?" She said gloomily.

"Well, that's one way to congratulate me, sure," Flash responded nonchalantly.

Sunset couldn't be bothered to react to that, as she turned back to her friends. "I mean what's it matter, the Play's cancelled, our teacher's broken and nobody knows who did it. There's nothing more that could make this day worst. So who cares?"

Everyone listened to that, letting what Sunset said sink in. I mean, she wasn't wrong. Flash won, The play was cancelled and the prankster responsible evaded everyone successfully.

This day really couldn't get any worse...

Everyone sighed, slowly and slowly making their way back into class.

When it was all said and done. It was just Fluttershy and Flash, both standing there silently...

She gritted her teeth and shot him one final glare. Rebuking at him, "You know...I really thought you weren't that bad. That maybe you were just misunderstood. But no... you're really as bad as everyone says."

She stormed off, purposely bumping into his shoulder as she entered the classroom. Leaving Flash there, blank and unphased.

He rolled his eyes and sighed. Smirking a little, "Best to just ignore all of that," He pulled out his phone, "Anyway, I should probably take care of this..."

The Junior Hallway...

Rover, Fido and Spot...

Those three were all congregated at their lockers, all packing their stuff up as school was coming to an end.

The three were all chuckling amongst each other. A lot actually. T be honest the three had been in amusement all day.

Sure, Flash didn't get expelled as they'd hoped for. But for what it was worth they perfectly set him up to take the blame for the Prank. The one that they were so proud of.

"Aw Man, Sentry definitely got what he deserved!" Rover said, "That'll teach him to mess with us!"

"Yeah," Spot replied, "Just wished he'd gotten expelled though. That really would've made my day," He quipped.

"Well, at least we got him!" Fido replied, "The best thing is he'll never suspect it was us. He'll probably go insane trying to figure out who set him up."

"Yeah," Flash said, "You guys definitely got that Sentry bastard good,"

"Oh, you have no idea-" Rover widened his eyes as he trailed off, slowly turning his head to seeing Flash just leaning up against the locker. All calmly with the smuggest look, they'd ever seen.

His heart dropped as Flash chuckled and waived, "Shame I never got to actually see it through. I heard it was absolutely chaotic."

The three all widened their eyes and backed up, getting defensive as they tried to retract what they had just said.

"Uh...SENTRY!?" Rover shrieked, "You heard nothing-I-I mean You-I..."

"WE DIDN'T DO IT!" The latter blurted out, in hopes of possibly deceiving him.

But obviously, he wasn't that gullible. But he played along. Making himself sound as genuine as he could "Oh...Oh! Sure...yeah-yeah sorry just some miscommunication on my end."

It worked, they all sighed of relief as they thought they decieved him again.

Only for him to say something rather chilling...

"On that note though..."

The three all widened their eyes as they didn't expect him to continue. But he went on.

"Since I found you three and you're all so willing to talk with me, then I guess I could let you in on a little something." He said, pulling out his phone.

"W-What would that be?" Rover asked reluctantly.

"I think I'm about to find out the identity of the Prankster!" He said with fake enthusiasm.

And if that didn't make all three of their hearts drop. They all widened their eyes to that, as Flash began to dial a number in his phone. As he further explained.

"With the help of the "police", they've managed to track down a single phone number that's connected to that InstaCrab account that's been posing as me. So, if I just call the phone number..."

He put the phone close to his ear, letting it ring as he waited so patiently...

For the phone to ring...

Suddenly, a vibrating sound came from Rover's pocket. As he widened his eyes to that, looking down to his pocket as that was the unmistakable sound of a phone ringer.

The three all froze as they all turned to glance at Flash. Who had the smuggest smirk, more sumgger than before. As he hung up on the call.

"Well, would you look at that..." He then cracked both fists intimidatingly. "So much for miscommunication."

He began to slowly approach all three. In turn, the three all began to slowly move back.

"Uh-Heh, Sentry...We can talk about this..." Rover nervously chuckled, "Heh, I mean well...I..."

"We's was only just joking," Fido explained, "Heh, you know uh...we got you."

"You're not helping our situation..." Spot quipped at the latter. Before turning back at Sentry, "So uh, how about we just all calm down and talk about this."

"I couldn't agree more."

The three widened their eyes as again. Turning to see the Principal standing right there, unamused as her arms were folded. Glaring at the three, "You three have a lot to explain. Of course, after we go over your suspension plan..."

They all turned back to glance at Flash. Who was merely whistling innocently.

Ironically, setting them up to admit to their crime. The three were all speechless. As they had realized Flash pulled a 'checkmate' on them by doing this. But now they didn't have anything they could say as they basically fessed up to the crime.

Mrs. Harshwhinny glanced at Flash. Giving him a nod, "Thank you Mr. Sentry for all your help. And don't worry about these three. I'll have some sort of punishment in line."

Flash nodded, flapped his hand, "Anytime..."

He began to walk away from the scene, heading for the stairs. All the way to the first floor.

He was originally going to go home. Seeing how the day was over...

But, he had some other plans in mind. After carefully thinking of course.

He stopped right at the entrance of the auditorium. Sighing and musing himself, "Well, better just get this over with..."
