"Livvie, he's so cute." Savannah and Serenity said in unison.
Olivia smiled. It was so cute how they always finished each other's sentence. Karen was always asking if they could read each other's minds, and she couldn't tell them apart. They always wore the same outfits. Now that they were showing more of their own personality, they didn't want to look like twins every day. It was a fight that Maya was not willing to let them win yet. She still called them her twins most of the time.
Olivia held him close inhaling his newborn scent. This baby looked exactly like Fitz. She couldn't see any resemblance to herself. His blue eyes were open and looking around the hospital room. He was already trying to lift his head.
Fitz reached for their baby, and Olivia let him take Sebastian. Fitz insisted on the name. He wanted to name their son after the boy triplet from her dream.
"How do you feel?" He asked.
"Better than I look right now."
He laughed, "You are still gorgeous."
Karen read a text message and gave the phone to Olivia. "It's Amelia. She said that she'll be here with gifts for the baby later today."
"Okay. You can text her thank you."
"When will Sabastian go home?" Savannah asked Olivia.
"Hopefully tomorrow."
Maya came in the hospital room with Sophia a few minutes later.
"I know I look like shit right now. I haven't had time to go home and change. I left my new job to come to the hospital. My boss says I'm fired. I told him to kiss my ass. It's not every day my favorite niece has a baby."
Maya handed her twins their snacks from the vending machine.
"Can you not curse around my kids?"
"Curse words are very bad." Sophia said to the twins and Karen.
"Where's Amelia?"
"She's watching TV and eating junk food. Amelia is like a kid on Christmas. She's so weird and sheltered." Sophia laughed.
"I won't have to worry about her being on the maternity floor next year."
Maya laughed at Olivia's comeback.
"I'm not having any kids. Karen, the twins and Sebastian are enough for me."
"How about we all let Olivia get some sleep. I know you're tired."
"Yeah, I should sleep. I'm meeting with the nanny tomorrow."
Fitz shooed everyone out of the hospital room. He wanted to cherish every day he had with Olivia. Their time together was never long enough.
