Olivia let herself in the house that was once upon a time her home. Pizza boxes were on the kitchen counter. Amelia was in the living room watching a movie.
"Hey, what are you doing here?"
"We need to talk in person."
"Okay."
"I'm quitting acting. I'm ready to live a normal life again. Fitz wants the same. We're moving to Vermont."
"Wow. Okay."
"Are you coming with us?"
"I'm staying in DC."
"I can accept that. You're responsible."
"Do I still get a weekly allowance?"
"Yes."
"So, when are you moving to Vermont?"
"The movers are here now. The whole house should be packed in a few days."
"How old is Sabastian?"
"He'll be six weeks tomorrow. We're taking a limo. I don't want him on a plane yet."
"So I guess this is goodbye until you visit DC again."
Olivia nodded,"I still want you to call me every day."
"Thanks for letting me grow up."
"Make good choices. You're in the driver's seat now."
"You taught me the importance of living your dreams. We can have everything we want."
Olivia smiled, "Goodbye Amelia."
"Wait."
Amelia said when Olivia turned and grabbed her purse off the coffee table. Olivia was surprised when Amelia wrapped her in a hug.
"Goodbye mom."
Olivia swallowed to hold back tears. She broke the hug and left the house.
When Olivia parked the car, Fitz was standing outside with Karen and Sebastian. Karen ran to Olivia and gave her a handful of pink slime.
"Dad bought me a slime kit. I still have some left."
Olivia smiled and rolled her eyes at Fitz. The maid was going to clean up the glue, coloring and the other stuff.
"You can hold him." Fitz said. "The movers need my muscles."
Olivia laughed, "You work out a lot in space."
"Yeah."
"I'm really happy we're moving to Vermont. I like our house there." Karen said.
"We're all happy." Olivia said.
