A/N: since I think that I was grasping at straws on Game of Life, I decided to document the supposed events that can support this pairing.
Chapter 9: Self Discovery [Part 7]
Rukia finally emerged from the abyss, after succeeding in her quest to regain her Zanpakuto's devotion.
At that, Nimaiya was proud of the Rio's granddaughter.
For she had proven herself, to be capable on her own right, without any help from her true raw power, that was yet to be awakened.
And thus, he reforged Sode no Shirayuki, the Zanpakuto's spirit that used to be the soul of the Rio's daughter in law.
Rukia's mother.

Though, both Rukia and Shirayuki, wasn't aware of it.
And Nimaiya, the god of All Swords, decided to keep it that way, as per the Rio's decision.

After that incident, Rukia and Shirayuki bonded wholesomely, now that, their hidden feelings were brought to light.
And yet, Shirayuki was still not in favor of Rukia's unconscious choice of loving Kuchiki Byakuya.
Knowing how much Byakuya had hurt Rukia in the past.
And the possibilities of having Rukia's heart being broken for another time around.
And thus, she will do everything to divert Rukia's feelings.
Even though, she knew that, Byakuya loved Rukia as well.
For she believes that their love is fragile.
And she does not want her beloved Rukia to get hurt…
Hoping for a love that is not meant to be.
