(Kaede and Yurovsky)
*October 7th, 1920*
*4:30pm*
Kaede and Yurovsky stared at each other as both of them gave off a serious glare towards each other while the wind began to pick up just a little bit.
"You're referring to THOSE bodies correct? Let's chat more in a more private area okay? I don't want to cause a scene" Yurosvky answered Kaede back as he started to walk towards his destination.
"Yes, the remains of Nicholas, Alexandra, Trupp, Demidova, Botkin, and Kharitonov. I'm sure they're in a forest somewhere by Yekaterinburg right?" Kaede spoke back to Yurosvky as she proceeded to follow him as the pair walked towards Yurosvky's office.
"You know quite a lot about that fateful night don't you? And what makes you completely sure that their remains are in the forest?" Yurosvky asked Kaede as he had stopped walking and turned his direction to face Kaede to await his answer.
"You want to go somewhere private right? Well if you simply follow me then we can further discuss our situation from there okay?" Kaede spoke back to Yurosvky as she pulled out two rings which looked rather futuristic yet simplistic out of her bag.
"Yes, and why do you have a ring for? What are you planning?" Yurosvky asked Kaede with a confused look on his face as he saw Kaede offer him the ring with a serious look on her face.
"It's a device in which transports you to any place that you desire with a push of a button so in other words me and you are going to find the burial site but I still want to talk you you some more as well okay so put the ring on as well" Kaede answered back as she putted on the ring and typed in the location.
"Interesting, who knew such advancements could be possible 100 years from now but that's not the point. The main issue is why did you ask me about the remains when it was clear that you had knowledge of its location?" Yurovsky asked Kaede once more as he pitted the ring on his finger as well.
"Well, History is changing right? Maybe the location of the bodies could have changed but I could be wrong but let's not waste any time okay? Now make your hand into a fist and connect it to my fist okay?" Kaede answered back to Yurosvky as she formed a fist with her hand and reached out for Yurovsky.
"I let you take the lead however You better not be wasting my time if you haven't already" Yurosvky spoke back to Kaede as he formed a fist with his hand and connected it to Kaede's hand.
"Now what? What happens next?" Yurosvky asked Kaede with a somewhat confused look on his face.
"Koptyaki Forest!" Kaede cried out as she typed in the name of the location and proceeded to hit the button as a flash of light consumed the pair before sending them to their destination.
*Koptyaki Forest*
Kaede and Yurosvky arrived at the forest as they briefly looked around the forest to get familiar with their surroundings.
"Does this place seem familiar to you? If not tell me the actual location right now" Kaede spoke to Yurosvky as she awaited her answer.
"Yes, After we had ordered the others to get into the trucks however we were ambushed by Ivan…" Yurovsky answered back as he started to explain his story.
*Flashback*
*July 17, 1918*
Yurovsky stood in defeat as he saw the truck drive away into the night.
"W-What the hell was that? They are fucking getting away!" Peter Ermakov spat out as he slammed his fist towards the wall of the Ipatiev House in disappointment.
"This whole plan is falling into shambles like that little brat disappeared but now everyone else is escaping! Damn it all!" One of the men cried out in anger as he looked down.
"It seems we have to simply take care of the bodies we have as of right now or else we will have more trouble in our hands so let's take care of this issue first Kudrin" Grigory Nikulin spoke to Mikhail Kudrin as he pointed at the truck in which contained the bodies.
"He's right! If we waste any more time than our plan could officially fall" Pavel Medvedev spoke to everyone as things became more quiet.
"Listen and I want everyone to follow these orders CORRECTLY okay? Me, Peter, Flipp, Kudrin, and Vaganov will head to the Ganina Yama mine to dispose of the bodies while Pavel will conduct a full cleaning of the house. Is that clear?" Yurovsky commanded the group as everyone nodded their heads in agreement as the now split group went towards their separate directions.
"Why did you order the Romanov children to get into the trucks Yurosvky?" Flipp asked Yurovsky as he hopped in the truck along with everyone else.
"I honestly don't know. We should have executed them once we had the chance…" Yurovsky answered back as he entered the truck and proceeded to drive towards their destination.
"Where do you think Anastasia went to? It's quite mysterious that she vanished into thin air…" Vaganov spoke to everyone with a very confused look on his face as he awaited his answer.
"I don't know but I'm sure she'll come back! One way or another!" Peter Ermakov answered back with a sly smile on his face.
"You probably won't remember this night since you're drunk as a sailor so asking you questions is somewhat useless at the moment" Mikail Kudrin spoke back to Peter as the man gave him the finger.
"G-Guys…" Flipp spoke to everyone with a mixture of fear yet confusion in his voice.
One of the bodies rose up and let out a bloodcurdling scream in which startled everyone in the car.
"WHAT THE HELL! Kill it!" Peter Ermakov cried out as he and the other men pulled out their revolvers and quickly shot the body until it fell into the floor and eventually went silent once more.
"W-What the hell? How was that corpse still alive! We killed her! We did right?" Flipp reacted in a panicky tone of voice before calming himself down.
"No matter, Demidova is dead anyways but how was she alive even after we stabbed her? Well it doesn't matter anyways! Let's just make sure the same thing doesn't happen once more…" Peter Ermakov spoke to the gang as everyone nodded their heads in agreement.
*End of Flashback*
Kaede nodded her head as Yurosvky explained his story regarding the fateful night.
"Why the animals? They had nothing to do with all of this. You and everyone else could have easily given them away" Kaede asked Yurosvky in a more angered yet calm tone of voice as she glared at the man.
"They were a part of the Romanovs. We HAD to kill them to erase ANY traces of Romanovs…" Yurosvky answered back as he refused to look Kaede in the eyes.
"Like I said, You will NEVER understand the russian people's struggle. The Romanov family never cared for anyone's regard or life but once they are killed for the greater good than people want to have sympathy for them? I truly will never understand people like you Kaede…" Yurosvky spoke to Kaede once more as he finally turned his direction to face her as he had tears in his eyes.
"I never asked to be a murderer as you would call it. It was just years of oppression that can really turn a rather man of values like me into a monster or however you would call it. But in the end of the day I only did what was right for Russia and this means those animals had to go as well..." Yurovsky spoke to Kaede as he allowed the tears to flow in his eyes.
"I can't change him. I'm already aware of that but maybe I could really delve into what drove him to become the man who he is" Kaede thought to herself as she looked up towards the sky.
"You're from the future right? Tell me, How do I pass away? Yurovsky asked Kaede in a somewhat somber tone of voice.
"You will die of a peptic ulcer in the year 1938, why did you ask?" Kaede answered back as she looked back at him.
"I see, I was just also curious as well but It seems we can't change our belief systems but what also surprises me is that you remind me of my good friend Pavel before he passed away last year. He was a loyal supporter of the Romanovs before aligning himself with the Red Guards but to make it short you and him were quite similar." Yurovsky spoke to Kaede as he wiped the tears from his eyes and cracked a smile.
"I mean, I didn't agree with everything Nicholas II did but I just want to save his family and nothing else but It's getting late so let's head back" Kaede spoke back to Yurosvky as she formed a fist with her hand and reached out for Yurosvky's fist.
"Kaede sure is one mysterious person. I never encountered anyone like her in my life.." Yurosvky thought to himself as he connected his fist to Kaede's fist.
"Moscow Russia!" Kaede cried out as she typed in the location before pushing the button on the ring as a flash of light appeared and consumed the pair thus sending them back to their original location.
"Moscow, Russia*
*5:23pm*
Kaede and Yurosvky appeared in front of the large office building as Yurosvky took off the ring and gave it back to Kaede.
"You know that I will never forgive you and everyone else for those murders and especially the animals right? I always believe that taking another life is always wrong but It seems we're polar opposites on that topic" Kaede spoke to Yurosvky as she put the ring in her bag before looking back up.
"I know.." Yurosvky responded back as he saw Kaede latching the bag on her back.
"I can't change him and I'm sure he is aware of it as well but at least I was able to talk to him face to face" Kaede thought to herself as she proceeded to walk further away from Yurosvky before disappearing from his site altogether.
"You will never understand this revolution and why we fight. Nicholas the bloody was a tyrant who cared about nobody but himself so I feel no remorse for what happened two years ago…" Yurosvky said to himself as he took out a cigar from his pocket and proceeded to lit one up with the match on his other hand as he proceeded to smoke it.
"But I truly hope you're able to save the children…" Yurosvky said to himself as he walked into his office for the remainder of the evening.
