"The pool of Creation, the same one that Aether used to give Salem her immortality." The boy said. "Which is located in the Watchtower… And is being guarded by the last of the Ahamkara."
"Oh joy." The red tipped girl said flatly. "We have to get through a paracausal creature." She continued.
"Though why do you want to turn Penny into a human?" Pietro asked her. Ruby's eyes softened considerably at the question.

"There should be a Scorch Cannon somewhere around here." Jaune told her as he started picking off Maulers with No Turning Back.
"I'll have a look around." Sun said as he fastened on his mask. After that, he started looking around and after a bit of searching, he found some Scorch Cannons.
"Alright, let's put these to work." The blonde said as he mounted the weapon on his shoulder and charged towards the tank, dodging its rapid shots and shooting one of its leg guards off with his gun chucks, causing it to fall and open. Once this happened, the monkey faunus jumped on the walker's back and started unloading the Scorch Cannon on the robot's inner workings.
"That's how it's done!" Jaune exclaimed with a grin as he took out a Chieftain.
"Man, just shoot these guys in the head and it basically takes care of itself." Foxxianna said as she stabbed a brute in the face.

"Come on, let's move!" Foxxianna yelled as they moved down deeper into Quitters Well, until they reached a very dark cavern that was called the Hallowed Lair.
It was around this time that the Necromaner started talking again as torches lit themselves and more Corrupted appeared.
"After I kill you, I will bring the Captains back. Then we will take back the Shore, and then, we will deal with the one who locked us away with Wolfgang!" He growled. "Winter Schnee! She is owed hers next!" He added.
"Oh hell no!" Sun barked.
"We have to stop this guy, before we lose anyone else!" Foxxianna added.
"Move it, people!" Jaune exclaimed as the four ran on further into the Lair.

"I have." The man nodded with a small frown.
"And it's not just them, a lot of people have been joining him lately." The king noted. "I'm honestly getting worried that the people who join him and your people are gonna be split down the middle." He added. "And then there's the Haul. Where did he manage to get a chunk of the Ascendant Plane that big?"
"I thought you'd know." Ironwood admitted.
"I do not." Sky admitted in return. "... Though I do have a theory." He added.
"Go on." The general said.
"Well, the only people that had access to the Ascendant Plane other than myself, the Worms, and the gods themselves that I know of… Is the Nine." The Knight said.
"You think they gave the Nomad the Haul." The older man said, catching on.
"It's possible." Sky nodded. "But for what purpose?" He wondered.
"Well it's not like we can ask them. Some don't even know if they exist." Ironwood said.
"Oh they exist." Gurren chimed in with Ironwood's AED, Tyrant. "And we know just who to ask." Tyrant added.
"Who? Yul?" Ironwood asked.
"Nope. Xur." Gurren replied. This made Sky hum.
"The equally elusive courier of the Nine. He's going to be tricky to find." He nodded.
"Indeed. If we want to find him, we'll have to look everywhere we can as fast as we can before he vanishes." The old general mused.
"This is where I come in." The king noted before pressing his finger to his temple. "Garuda, Augustus, I want you to reroute all our available scouts and hunting Grimm to locate and retrieve a high value target." He told his two generals telepathically.
"Target ID?" Garuda asked.
"Xur, Courier of the Nine. And be sure to be quick and discreet. Time is of the essence, but we also don't want to raise any alarms or draw any unwanted attention." The boy told him.
"Should we have some Aragami assist in the search?" Augustus inquired.
"If you think it'll make things quicker, then do so. Oh, and Agustus?" Sky nodded.
"Yeah?" The cowboy asked.
"For the love of god, tell Xeronas to at least try and keep the violence to a minimum. We want to capture Xur alive, not mount his head on a pike." The king added seriously.
"Got it, boss." Augustus replied before the call ended.
"What did you just do?" Ironwood asked.
"I just had my scouts and hunting Grimm rerouted to search for Xur discreetly." Sky replied.
"Ah." The man nodded. "On that note there's something I've been meaning to ask you about."
"What would that be?" Sky asked.
"Are you familiar with the Deep Stone Crypt?" The general asked. The question made the King blink before frowning slightly.
"No. I can't say I am." He replied.
"Well after the Fall of Beacon I began doing some digging into who created the Terramind Rasputin and stumbled upon it, as well as who created the Crypt." The general continued. "According to the notes, they were both created by the same man: Merlot Schnee. Father of Nicholas Schnee." He added.
"This must be a pretty big secret, then. Is there a reason it was kept away from the public?" Sky asked.
"I'm still trying to figure out the specifics. But I believe that it could have something to do with Merlot's twisted experiments with the Grimm and something he called "Exo Science"." Ironwood replied.
"Exo Science? Is that a form of robotics research?" The Grimm Knight asked.
"According to what little info I have right now, it was essentially a project that was the predecessor to the project that created Penny." Ironwood stated. "And was also connected to our current 'Artificial Semblance' program."
"I think I'll leave that topic alone for the time being to focus on the matter at hand." Sky sighed, not wanting to overload his brain.
"Fair enough. Though when you and Penny try to reclaim Rasputin, if you could find out more information about these projects…" Ironwood said.
"We'll find out everything we can." The Knight of Yul nodded. "Though I don't know how Weiss and Winter will take this news about their great grandfather." He added.
"Not too well, I imagine. It is a rather sensitive secret." The man said.
"Let's hope it won't be that bad." The boy sighed.
