"Sorry Shocket, yes I am, only if there's an emergency, I can't use my powers to keep everybody safe." Casey replied softly.
It was the next morning and Casey was eating breakfast with Shocket and the other kids, feeling better after last night, feelimg anxious but lookimg forward to tonight, the Avengers Scouts campout which she was lookimg forward to, squeezing her eyes closed, trying to unfreeze her powers just in case something happened, how could she be Raccoon Girl, without them, feelimg Shocket's paw on herfurry shoulder.
"It'll be alright, they'll come back, you'll see." she assured her before leaving, with the other kids to get ready for school.
While they would be at school, Casey was with her parents, or Rocket learning to control her powers, but they were helpimg her learning to cope with her newly-discovered autistic-traits, which she hoped would help, making her dad, Ranger wonder why she was quiet.
"I'm just worried, that my powers might not come back, what if something happens at the campout but I can't help because my powers froze!" she said making him hug her, assuring her, her powers would return, like when she got sick makimg her guess he was right taking deep breaths, seeing her mom with Rocko which made te smile return to her furry face, her brother was alwaysdoing somethimg funny, gigglimg at him eating, becoming unseen, then re-appearing, her brother gigglimg.
"I think what we're doing is working, as her powers are unfreezing a little." Ranger told Rocket seeing him nod.
He knew that when his niece wastoo stressed or anxious, kt affected her, especially her powers, so it was good to see, that she was feelimg like herself again a little, knowing the campout later might also help with this, seeing Rocko happy which wassweet, as Meeko was there excited aboug later, letting Casey be.
Casey grinned, puttimg on her Avenger Scouts uniform, as earlier after wakimg up from an ap, she had packedher backpack for tonight hoping Shocket had packed for tonight, guessimg that was what her cousin was doimg right now, lookimg at her Raccoon Girlarmour which was in her closet as her parents had decided that she needed to take a break from super-heroics which she got, hopimg when her powers unfroze, she could be Raccoon Girl again closing the closet-door hearing footsteps, seeing Shocket enter, makimg Casey relieved
"You were looking at your armour again, missing being her, eh?" Shocket asked.
"Yes as I get to help people, just like uncle Rockie." Casey replied to her.
They were then goimg to the bus which they used for Avenger Scouts events and campouts away from thecompound getting on relieving Rocket wondering where they had been, makimg Shocketshrug her furry shoulders, tellimg her dad that Casey had been helpimg her with something impressing him they were becoming friends, surprising Linda, that Shocket was sittimg with Asey makimg Billy andTommy understand.
"She's still your best friend, besides Casey doesn't have many friends" Billy pointed out.
"You have a point, as Rocket's friend is in our troop." Linda replied to him feeling better.
She was relieved at the campsite, that Shocket wanted to share a tent with her, Billy and Tommy, making her guess like Howard being jealousof how Groot and her dad did everything, she was jealous of how much time Shocket was spendimg with Casey, hearimg her cousin gigglimg, helpimg Meeko which wasfunny, knowing things would be okay.
