A/N: since I think that I was grasping at straws on Game of Life, I decided to document the supposed events that can support this pairing.

Chapter 9: Self Discovery [Part 9]

At the palace of the head captain of squad 0, Ichibe Hyusobe. Monk who calls the real name.

"Rukia Kuchiki-sama" the old monk greeted Rukia. "What a befitting name" he added with a warm fatherly smile.

Rukia bowed very low at being greeted warmly by the head Royal Guard.

"I am very honored!" Rukia said, proud of being a Kuchiki.

The old knowing monk, just smiled in response.

"Abarai is in the Dojo of my palace, Rukia-sama" he said after sometime, as Rukia walked a few feet behind, like an obedient student.

"Arigatou, Hyusobe-dono" Rukia replied politely.

And when Rukia finally reached the Dojo, she was greeted by an enthusiastic Renji, as he fill her in with the training.

Training to master their Bankai.

And the fact that his zanpakuto had lied to him, because they deemed him undeserving of the Bankai's real name.

But thanks to the Royal Head Guard, he finally manifest his Bankai.

At that, Rukia felt excited at the thought of achieving her Bankai as well.

And Shirayuki felt the same way. Especially since, Rukia would be spending every time of her day, meditating and training with her, and no one else.

For certainly, she had decided to occupy Rukia's mind and keep it from wondering towards a certain Kuchiki.

"The captain of squad 6, had woken" an assistant tending to Rukia and Renji's training announced.

At this, Rukia stopped her training with Renji to focus on the good news.

"Nii-sama is a awake!" she exclaimed excitedly, while a blush can be seen on her pale face.

For she could not help but imagine Byakuya, emerging from the onsen, with all of his glory.

Despite Renji's thankfulness towards his captain's regained health, he could not help but feel a slight nagging in his mind. It had been that way, since he first saw Byakuya.

No.

Impossible.

She does not feel that way about him.

He is her brother.

He thought. Jealous. But he will never admit it.

"Hai, Rukia-sama"
