Thanks for the reviews my lovely readers, to those who haven't reviewed in a while I hope things are going well for you.

The next couple of days were pretty busy for Maura and Jane after coming back from their needed vacation, they had to organize the house, adjust things so Frost could be there at the house. Frost's ribs still ached and his head kept on pounding at times, only relieved every few hours once he took his meds.

It was only day two when Frost was out of the hospital and he said he wanted things to be as normal as they could. He was getting dressed causing Jane to look at her friend in concern.

"Shouldn't you be resting Frost? I mean no one expects you to go to work so soon after everything."

"I've missed three weeks of work Jane, I don't plan to miss much more."

"I just worry Frost and I want you to take it easy."

"Me take it easy, yeah right, that's like telling you to take it easy. You shot through yourself and wanted to be at work the next day. You're as stubborn as they come, you can say I learned from the best," he groaned, "Jane I can't seem to get this tie on right, can you help please?"

"Frost, you've been struggling with the most simplest of tasks, you sure you're making the right choice in going back to work?" Jane asked, helping him with his tie anyways, she knew Frost wasn't going to change his mind.

"Jane, I got this alright? You do plan to drive me to work right? With me not having a car and all."

"Yeah, but... can't you ask Frankie or even Tommy? I mean Frankie at least still works there."

"I don't need their help Jane."

"Yeah I know, but you can't avoid them forever you know."

"I'm not avoiding them Jane, I'm just giving them space like they promised to give me. Can we not talk about them right now?"

"Of course, you're still going to have to see them you know. Tonight we're going to have a thing here showing the photos from Maura and my trip. The twins have been very excited to see our adventures."

"See that goes with the whole not avoiding them, just giving them space. I'm ready to go now, thanks for the tie help."

"Not a problem Frost."

"So do you miss it Jane? Miss working at the precinct."

"Yeah I do but sometimes new and better opportunities come around and you just got to take them. Like this weekend I start my job to help future police officers succeed and go in the career path they want to take, to serve and protect."

"You're such an inspiration," Frost chuckled and Jane patted him on the back.

"Come on let's go. Hope you enjoy all those desk duty tasks you'll have to do."

"I can handle it Jane." He smiled as they leftthe house, Jane was grateful that Korsak picked up the twins this morning, getting them ready to go to the precinct would take a while, especially with Todd still injured.

The drive to the precinct was spent in comfortable silence, Frost looking out the window, tapping his fingers against his knees. Jane had taken notice of how fidgety her friend was. She reached over to take his hand, "Hey, it's going to be okay."

"I know Jane, thanks. Just I seem so antsy all of the time."

"And you really think you can handle desk duty?"

"Yes Jane, I'm not a child."

"I know but the doctor says you might have trouble focusing."

"Jane, I was there, I know what the doctor said. Thanks for taking me to work."

"It's honestly not a problem, plus it gives me an excuse to go inside and stop by to see my wife. It's odd going in on the visitor's side of security though," Jane spoke as they walked inside the building.

"Hey Barry Frost, wasn't expecting to see you back so soon."

"Well I need to work, keep my mind busy."

Jane went through security and got a visitor's pass, sighing yeah she'd not get used to that. They went into the bullpen where Crowe was standing there, arms crossed, focusing on the board.

"Hey Crowe," Frost greeted causing Crowe to snap out of his concentration.

"Well shit Barry, I wasn't expecting to see you."

"I guess I'm going to hear that a lot today."

Jane smiled, "You'll get used to it buddy. Crowe please take good care of Frost."

"As you wish Rizzoli," he nodded and Jane shook her head and went downstairs. When she arrived, she knocked on Maura's office door, causing the woman to look up from her computer.

"Jane what are you doing here, is everything okay?"

"I was just dropping Frost off, he insisted to come to work today. Decided while I'm here might as well stop down here and see my wife. That's allowed right?"

Maura smirked, "I'm always going to want to see you, it's always allowed. Makes me feel important you coming to see me at work. I came back and everything was so organized, I think Kent's just a little bit of a neat freak."

Jane nodded, "Yeah he even moved some things around I see. Doesn't that ruin the fungsway of your office?"

"I think you mean feng shui, and I don't know gives my office a new kind of energy."

"Yeah seems like he really wants to impress the boss," Jane couldn't help but roll her eyes.

"Jane, aren't we over that conversation?"

"I'm just making observation. I don't like change and this room does have a new energy, you sure he isn't trying to, you know? Take over your job? I mean you gave him a huge opportunity having him in charge for three weeks, might have given him the wrong idea."

Maura shook her head, standing up from her desk, "You're being really paranoid now, he's not after my job. No one can replace me as Chief Medical Examiner of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts."

"Well I surely hope that no one tries or they'll feel the wrath of me."

"Yeah beware the wrath of Jane Rizzoli-Isles and anyone that comes in the way of her wife's career."

"Damn straight," Jane smiled, pulling her wife by the hips, leaning down to kiss her. "My wrath is worse than the fires of hell."

"Don't over exaggerate dear."

"Maura, you've seen my wrath before, you know it's true."

"I'd much rather forget about that time we drifted apart."

"We had a falling out Maura, that's worse than just a drifting apart. Hell we weren't even on speaking terms, it's scary to think about that now, how this might've never happened if we didn't make up."

"We would have made up eventually and we'd still be where we are at today."

"You really think so?"

"Yeah, a love like ours, we always manage to get out of everything, even things that seem almost impossible to get over. We overcome any obstacle that comes in our way," Maura smiled, wrapping her arms around Jane's neck, pressing a soft kiss to her lips. "We were meant to be together in the end, no matter how long it took us to get there." She shifted out of her wife's arms for a moment, going over to shut the door, Jane smirked when she heard Maura lock it. Maura kicked off her heels and went to go sit on the couch, patting the cushion next to her. "Care to join me?"

"I mean you did just lock the door, so I know exactly what that means," Jane joined Maura on the couch, pressing kisses along her jawline. "My wife wants to get her freak on," she let her hand rest on Maura's knee before sliding it up the bottom of her dress.

"I do feel like this is the first time we've truly been alone since we've gotten back from our vacation. I'll get what I can take of my wife taking care of me."

"I do love taking care of you babe," Jane's lips nipped at Maura's earlobe, her hand cupping her underwear covered core which she could already feel was throbbing. She let her thumb press gently against her, rolling in a circle, causing her wife to jerk her hips forward moving against the movement of Jane's thumb.

Jane lowered Maura back into the couch cushions, pushing up her dress before going to press kisses down her stomach and kissing at the waistband of Maura's underwear before she moved her hand and pulled the fabric down with her teeth, gently grazing Maura's entrance. She let her tongue slowly run against the slit, loving how much she could get her wife to throb with her gentle touches.

Jane kissed at Maura's thighs as Maura moved her legs so they were over her shoulders, "Stop teasing Jane."

Jane chuckled, running her tongue over her entrance once more before lowering her mouth to suck gently at her folds. Maura's hand tangled in Jane's hair, jerking her hips forward.

"Thank you," Maura grunted, closing her eyes for a moment, enjoying the feeling her wife could give her. Jane just hummed against her core before flicking her tongue at her wife's clit. "Shit Jane..."

Jane kept on pleasing Maura with her mouth before she felt herself start to get turned on, she kept on what she was doing while using her free hand to unbutton her pants sliding them off her legs, removing her underwear along with it. She sucked hard at Maura's folds before removing her mouth and positioning herself so their cores could touch, rolling down against each other, Maura's eyes opened slightly looking at her wife with so much arousal.

"Goddammit Jane," Maura whimpered, thrusting herself against Jane, moaning at each thrust against each other's core. They moved in unison as Jane picked up the pace, panting hard. "Jane, I'm... so... close," Maura spoke in a low tone, grunting with each word.

"Me too babe, just a little bit more," Jane rolled her core down against Maura's, thrusting her hips as hard as she could, before gasping with complete pleasure. "Shit, shit..." Jane bit her bottom lip, whimpering as their centers rolled together, they both froze as the orgasms took them over as they came hard against each other. Jane felt herself throb like crazy, she looked down at Maura, who's eyes were closed and mouth partially opened.

"That was..." Maura began before realizing she didn't know the right adjective to describe how that felt.

"Yeah, pretty fucking intense," Jane brushed the hair out of Maura's face. "God you're gorgeous."

"So are you Jane, I wasn't expecting you to join in, it was a great surprise."

"I didn't want you to have all the fun, plus I enjoy my throbbing core against yours. So hot."

"I definitely agree, so very hot, in fact," Maura went to pin Jane down against the couch cushions.

"Yeah?" Jane smirked looking up at her wife.

"Wanna do that again?"

Jane nodded, "That shouldn't even be a question."

"Good because I'm still very turned on," she whispered in Jane's ear before trailing her tongue from her collarbone and up towards the back of her ear, causing Jane to shiver at the motion.

"Yeah, is that so?"

"Definitely," Maura moved to position them perfectly about to roll herself down against when there was a knock on the door. "Now's not a good time, come back in an hour."

"I don't think I can wait an hour," Frost's voice was heard, causing Jane to sigh and sit up.

"Frost, is this important?" Jane asked in slight frustration, putting her pants back on as Maura sat up to adjust herself.

"I know how much you appreciate your alone time with Maura Jane, but yes it's important."

"Okay, I'm coming," Jane gave a look to Maura making sure she was decent before opening the door. "Frost what's the matter?"

"You remember how you kept on asking me if I had my meds, that they were important to take... I can't seem to find them. My head is killing me, I was sure I put it in my jacket pocket, but I can't find them. And I'm pretty sure I have a fever," Frost groaned, Maura came over and placed her hand on his forehead.

"Frost, you're burning up, come on let's get you to lay down. Jane go find a cold compress."

"Yeah, of course," she looked at her friend in concern before rushing out, returning moments later. "A cold towel is the best I could do."

"That's fine Jane," Maura nodded, placing it over Frost's forehead. "How does that feel?"

"Cold," he sighed, "I'm sorry for interrupting your whatever it was you two were doing. Both of your hair is a mess by the way."

"Just get some rest Frost," Jane patted his shoulder, her friend nodded and closed his eyes.

"You two are the best, you know that?"

"Yeah, now quiet, talking isn't resting."

"Yes boss," he nodded and Maura and Jane stepped outside giving Frost some quiet.

"I knew he shouldn't have come to work today, I knew he wasn't ready."

"Sometimes he can be just as stubborn as you."

"Yeah I know, I just wish he wasn't so ready to get back to work, he should be focusing on rest not who's murder still hasn't been solved yet."

"I'm sure with him feeling like shit he'll be more than happy to go home now."

"Too bad our home isn't really his home. If only he could remember that he was happy with Tommy. That he had a life with him and everything was okay..." Jane spoke her thoughts out loud and Maura crossed her arms.

"Jane, we promised we wouldn't interfere with that, with his relationship with Tommy."

"I know, but as I recall I said I would try not to interfere, plus you can tell that Frost doesn't feel at home with us. I have to at least try and I think I have the perfect idea."

"Jane, what are you planning to do?"

"I got this, trust me on it."

Maura shook her head, "I love how much you care for Barry, if you think it will help. I'll let him sleep off his fever on my couch."

"I mean maybe this feng shui of your office is all Barry needs," Jane kissed Maura's cheek. "I'll see you later alright."

"Okay, I just. I hope you know what you're doing."

"I'm sure of it," Jane left for the elevator and dialed her brother's number. "Hey Tommy, what are your plans for the day?"

Jane made it over to Frankie's place where he was getting ready to go to work, she had stopped by her place to get Frost's medicine. "Hey Frankie, remember to give these to Frost. And is Tommy dressed like he promised he would be when I arrived."

"Yeah he's getting ready now, you sure this is going to be a good idea."

"Helping to try to get Frost's memories back, of course. It'll be good for him and if this works even a little bit, things can go back to normal and you can have your bachelor pad for your lovely lady visitor," Jane smiled. "I'm glad that you and Susie are going out, she seems like the best partner for you. And I actually like her, so that's a plus."

Frankie rolled his eyes, "At least you're finally supportive of one of my relationships."

"Hey I was supportive of you and Gwen until she abandoned you. And you with Frost caused problems between you and Tommy which I'm glad are finally settled, now we just have to work on them getting back to normal."

"Well good luck with that Jane."

"I don't need luck, I just need Frost to get back to his normal self."

Frankie nodded, putting the meds in his pocket, "I'll be sure to give these to Frost. Bye," he waved before leaving his apartment.

Jane went over to the bathroom and knocked, "Tommy, are you ready?"

"Yeah, just give me a minute Janie. I don't think this plan of yours is going to work."

"We have to try something, I can tell he's not comfortable at my house so we have to do something."

Tommy huffed, coming out of the bathroom, "And what if this just upsets him? And causes more harm than good? He's not going to want to come back to his home Jane, he doesn't remember the seriousness of our relationship."

"Which is why we have to try, plus he's depressed and you're miserable, looks like you haven't slept in weeks."

"Maybe that's because I haven't been able to get a full night's sleep if I'm not drunk. And nobody will let me drink alcohol."

"Because you make dumb ass decisions when you have alcohol in your system. Now come on, the art store is calling our name."

Tommy sighed, "Fine but this scrapbook idea of yours better work. I never liked doing art projects."

"The twins kind of got me into doing at projects always asking me to color or do arts and craft things. It's a good exercise. I'm sure Barry will be grateful for the thought you put into this, I'll even let you take all the credit."

"You don't have to do that, you know..."

"Yeah I know but it is your relationship that you're trying to mend," Jane took her brother's arm in hers, "Come on we got things we need to do," she locked up the apartment with Frankie's spare key and they headed to the art store to grab some things before they went to Tommy's place to start making this memory scrapbook.

"Hey Jane, did you want a sandwich or something? I know you forget to eat when you're on a mission."

"Uh sure, thanks," Jane looked through some photos Tommy had of him and Frost and them and the twins, she smiled at the photo they looked so happy together she missed seeing the happy side of Frost.

Moments later Tommy sat down next to his sister at the table, "Here, it's your favorite."

"Thanks Tommy, you guys seem so happy with the twins around, natural at it even."

"Yeah they are pretty amazing kids, you know the day of the accident Todd was mentioning how he would like it if Barry and I were his dads. Imagine that, someone wanting me as a father."

"You'd make one hell of a father Tommy, I know we didn't have the best example of one growing up."

"Korsak has been great, you know... treating me like a son that's always been his even though we didn't start off on the right foot."

"Korsak has so much love to give, he's great and he treats Ma like she's a damn angel." Jane held up a picture of just Tommy and Todd. "Would you consider it? You know adopting Camille's kids? I mean of course Maura and I are their legal guardians, but we're going to have our hands full with the new baby and who knows if we're going to be able to take care of the twins as well. I mean we're always handing them off to someone to watch, they never really felt like ours but seeing you and Frost with them it just seems to fit, it's odd in a way, isn't it?"

"I haven't really thought of it no, I mean I had suicidal tendencies no court would find it fit for me to take care of the twins. So I don't really think about it, we all know how I get when I get my hopes up and something doesn't work out."

"The curse of being a Rizzoli," Jane sighed. "Well at least you get to spend time with them when you can and that Todd looks up to you like a father. He's like how I look up to Korsak, felt like he was meant to be in my life, y'know."

Tommy nodded, "Yeah, just, don't get all emotional on me... I really don't want to take care of a crying woman."

Jane rolled her eyes, "You're such a jerk," she nudged him in the ribs before taking a bite of the sandwich. "A jerk with impeccable sandwich making skills."

"Thanks, we should get back to this if we want to get this done before tonight. The twins are excited to see your trip pictures and I'm growing quite interested in how Barry will like this scrapbook."

Hours had passed by, Jane almost losing track of time until Maura texted her that things needed to be ready in less than two hours, that Frankie and Frost were the only ones at the house.

"Tommy, come on it's time to go, Maura needs my help with things and you can't be left alone."

"Okay," Tommy groaned, hated being treated like a child. He shoved the scrapbook in a bag and put on his jacket. "You're so impatient sometimes Janie."

"Don't make me regret helping you," Jane lightly threatened before they were out of Tommy's house and off towards the Rizzoli-Isles household.

They arrived within thirty minutes, entering the house, Frost was on the couch watching something on television and Frankie was in the kitchen helping Maura with dinner.

"Should I go show Barry now?" Tommy asked his sister in a hushed tone.

"Not yet, let him just sort of get used to you being present before you jump the gun," Jane patted his back and Tommy nodded, placing the bag on the counter and going to sit on the couch, a cushion distance from Frost.

"Hey Barry, how are you feeling?" Tommy asked and Frost shrugged.

"Honestly I could be feeling better, I had a fever and was almost tempted to go lay in one of those body storage lockers in autopsy but I remembered my fear of closed in spaces."

"Yeah, plus that's where the dead people go, and you're not dead, which I'm grateful for."

"With the fever I had I would have probably been better off dead. It was horrible so glad Maura and this Kent person was there to help regulate my body temp."

"Well that's good at least. Kent's a really smart man."

"Yeah he's really nice too, does he always sound like he's flirting with people?"

"So how's Frost doing?" Jane asked her wife as she started helping cut some lettuce for the salad.

"He's better, I was actually thankful for Kent, he had amazing ideas for how to help bring down Frost's fever."

"Yeah, at least Frost doesn't have a fever anymore. Kent is good for something."

"Yeah, and I promise he's not back to making me doubt my intelligence."

"Well that I'm really grateful for, I hate when people give my wife doubts," Jane leaned over to kiss her cheek.

"Actually Frost invited him to come over to join everyone for dinner, he was so grateful for his help. I hope that's alright."

"Of course, as long as he doesn't make eyes at my wife."

"Jealousy is not a very good look on you Jane."

"I know, I'm sorry I just can't help it sometimes. Don't you think that he's a little too nice?"

"That's just the way he was raised. Just behave he has no ulterior motives."

"If you say so, I still don't trust him, but I trust you completely," Jane thought she needed to reassure Maura that she did trust her. Kent still had to prove himself to Jane that he felt nothing for her wife.

"Well at least there's still some trust to go around," Maura rolled her eyes, going to do a different task in the kitchen.

"Jane, what the hell is the matter with you?" Frankie asked in a whisper.

"Shut up Frankie, I'm trying to cut this damn lettuce."

"I swear sometimes you're a bigger idiot than Tommy," Frankie shook his head going to help Maura with whatever task she was doing. "I'm sorry about Jane."

"Let's just not talk about it," Maura told Frankie.

Soon enough the others were coming to the house, the twins, with Angela, Korsak and baby Julian who was fast asleep in his carrier. Jane went over to greet them, "Hey Ma, you look tired."

"I'd look less tired if your little brother would let me sleep at night. He doesn't understand how mama needs her rest too," she looked down at her sleeping child sighing. "You sure you want to be a mother? I know how much you love your sleep."

"I'm sure I'll be fine Ma," Jane patted her mom's shoulder. "Maura and Frankie are just finishing up with dinner, so you guys can all go into the dining room if you want. Dinner then photos, that's the plan."

They all headed towards the dining room, Jane had joined her brother and Frost on the couch. "So, dinner is going to be ready soon, maybe now's a good time to show Frost that thing..."

Tommy looked at Jane and then Frost who looked at both of them in confusion. "Yeah sure," Tommy nodded getting up from the couch and returning with a bag. "Hey Barry, I made you something that I thought you'd like to see, you have to take it out of the bag though, the bag isn't the gift."

Frost shook his head, "If you were able to make this bag I'd be pretty damn impressed, it has great stitching and everything," he smiled and took the item out of the bag. He looked at it and frowned, "Tommy, what is this?"

"It's a scrapbook of things, memories that might stir in you if you look... but I mean only if you want to, there's no rush I just wanted to help you maybe remember things, like how we were before things happened," Tommy explained seeing Frost's shoulders fall.

"I thought you agreed to give me space Tommy, space to figure things out for myself. If I was meant to remember I would. I'm tired of people expecting me to be okay with everything. To understand all the stuff I missed, but the fact is this isn't going to help. Seeing stuff I can't remember happening, it sucks, being reminded of good times I can't remember... is this really supposed to make me feel better..." Frost frowned.

Jane sighed, "Frost, don't get mad at him alright. It was my idea, I thought it would be a good thing, that it would help..."

"Well I don't think it was, but I'll hold onto it because Tommy and you put in all this effort, but I'll look at it when I'm ready, if I'm ready... just understand that I want to figure things out on my own and I'm sorry Tommy if things don't turn out the way you expect, if we don't get that happily ever after you remember us wanting then that's just how it is, but feeling pressured to remember I just need to do it on my own time, on my own terms. I don't think I'm hungry, I'm just going to go in the guest house and get some rest." Frost patted Tommy's leg before taking the scrapbook with him.

"Yeah thanks for this brilliant idea Jane. I told you it wasn't going to work."

"I'm sorry Tommy, but you can tell he wants to remember, he just feels pressured so I'll settle on not trying to pressure him anymore."

Tommy nodded, "Frost knows we care about him though. Let's go eat, let Barry get some rest. We know he's going to need it."

"It'll work out eventually even if he doesn't remember."

"I know, we can always make new memories if he wants to pursue a relationship with me eventually. If it does get serious on his behalf maybe he'll be the one proposing next time. I have my special memory and he'll have his if things don't turn out exactly how I want it to."

Jane smiled, "See there we go, looking on the bright side of things." She got up from the couch hearing a knock on the front door. "That must be Susie, you go join the others in the dining room, I'll be right there."

Tommy nodded, heading into the dining room and Jane went to go answer the door, not only was Susie standing there but so was Kent. Jane almost forgot that Frost invited him over.

"Hello you two, dinner is about ready."

"How is Frost doing?" Kent asked as Susie went to go join the others.

"He went to go rest, didn't want to be bothered. I heard that you helped with his fever, I wanted to thank you for that. He seemed to really appreciate it."

"Well we were sort of friends before his accident and I know how head injuries go, you do the best you can to make someone feel at ease. Have someone stay comfortable, I know a lot about things, you know..."

"Better than I was doing then," Jane sighed here she was taking advice from Kent a person she disliked. "Trying to get Frost to remember wasn't the best idea."

"I'm sure you want to do everything you can to help him out but all Frost needs is time. That's all he needs and I assure you he'll be at his old self in no time."

"Thanks, you do seem to be pretty wise, I don't give you enough credit where credit is due," Jane admitted, extending her hand. "Truce?"

"You really don't like me do you?"

"I'm willing to try to not dislike you so much. I know it upsets Maura, and I'll try as hard as I can for her, but you don't make it easy you know."

"I accept your truce then, as long as any effort is made, I appreciate it," Kent smiled shaking her hand. "I'm going to go check up on Frost if that's alright."

"If you are able to get him to join us for dinner, then I'd really appreciate it," Jane let go of his hand and went to the table as Kent went out to the guest house.

"I heard you talking to Kent, is everything good?" Maura asked as she finished setting the table.

"Yeah we made a truce, I put up my white flag in surrender."

"Good because I hate being mad at you, now sit down, it's time to eat."

Out in the guest house, Frost was laying on the sofa, his eyes closed, trying to get some rest when he heard the door open. He opened one eye spotting Kent in the doorway, he sat up. "Kent, I see that you made it."

"Yeah and you look upset, is everything okay?" he asked, sitting next to the man.

"Everyone is trying to get this normal Barry Frost back, but they don't seem to notice that he's not here, that he has changed and I'm tired of people expecting me to be okay. Trying to help push my memories along, Tommy and Jane put forth a nice effort, giving me a scrapbook of me and Tommy's relationship that I just don't want to look at you know? Why do I want to see things that I don't remember it's only going to make things worse. You're the only one who seems to understand this, understand that I need time, at my own pace to adjust to things. If things don't go back to normal it just doesn't, I realize that it might hurt people like Tommy, but I do remember making a decision to give him and his brother space, wanting to be with other people try to move on from them. That's my current mindset, like I can't help it to think Tommy and Frankie are both great guys... but they need to move on from me. I harmed their relationship as brothers, I know they say it's fixed now, but I still remember that... does this make any sense to you?"

Kent nodded, "It makes perfect sense, they don't realize that your memories might never come back that you have to adjust to things, just like they're going to have to deal with. I know that Tommy loves the hell out of you, but you have to do things that feels good for you. That make sense to you, Tommy needs to understand that if he can get you to fall in love with him again over time that's great, but rushing things will just keep pushing you away and I know that's the last thing he wants... I know that's the last thing you want, you want to focus on rebuilding friendships not relationships," he patted his leg. "It makes perfect sense to us, but no sense to others. I'm here for ya though, whatever that entails..."

Frost nodded looking at Kent's face, he was so sincere and what he said made him feel warm inside, it made him feel normal. Frost didn't realize what was happening until it was too late, his lips pressed firmly against the other man's, he wasn't expecting Kent to kiss back hesitantly but pull back seconds later. "Kent, I'm sorry I shouldn't have, that was just... my brain said go for it so I did."

"I uh yeah, we probably shouldn't do that again Frost, you're a great guy but I have a friendship with Tommy and I don't want to get into that... I'm already struggling with other things and you have this whole thing to work on..." he ranted.

"Kent, calm down, I know I shouldn't have as soon as I did... if it makes sense the moment I kissed you I realized you're not who I want to be kissing... This didn't feel right at all, that was like if I were kissing Jane, or if you kissed Maura. Wrong on all sorts of levels. It won't happen again, I promise."

Kent nodded, "Yeah okay, good, can we just pretend like that never happened?"

"Of course, it felt comforting up until the kiss. We had a moment and I took it the wrong way. Mistakes happened."

"I'm not even into men like that I tried with Frankie and it was odd. Now I have this other thing I'm trying to deal with... it's hard as hell bud."

"Yeah I know, I could tell by the way you looked at her while she wasn't paying attention. That's sort of why I mentioned it being wrong on all sorts of levels, you need to get over whatever this is you feel for Maura, unless you want to be the next person she does an autopsy on, courtesy of Jane. I admit back in the day Maura tried to help me not vomit when I seen a dead body and I might've developed a thing for her, but you know thinking about all the ways Jane could kill me it kind of killed that little crush I had on Maura. Trust me, it'll do you good to move on," Frost got up from the couch. "I'm kind of hungry, now that I think about it. I'm sure what they made was delicious."

"Yeah let's go get some food, I'm glad I could be of help and understanding to your situation before that other thing."

"Kent is that forgetting that it happened?"

"No Barry, my apologies not another word. So who did you realize you want to be kissing?"

"Don't worry about it my friend," Frost shook his head, sitting down at the table next to Tommy, nudging his leg. "Hey."

"Hey," Tommy smiled back. "You doing good man?"

"Great actually."

Kent sat in the only chair left that was next to Jane, "Hey I didn't think you'd be able to get him out of the guest house, thanks Kent."

"Not a problem Jane, he just needed someone to understand what he was going through. This food looks delicious by the way."

"Well you have to thank Frankie and Maura, they did most of the work, I just cut some lettuce," Jane shrugged, giving Kent a look over. He seemed to be pretty harmless, but why couldn't she get over this odd feeling that she needed to keep her eye on him.

I know that this chapter was pretty Frost centric, I hope you enjoyed it anyways. I thought Tommy and the scrapbook was a good idea, I knew Frost wouldn't exactly approve of it. I let Rizzles have some sexy office times just because I knew they needed some sort of steamy session of alone time. Tommy seems to be handling things better than we'd think, let's hope it stays that way. Trying to find motivation to keep this story alive hope the extra Frost in this storyline is a good thing for my readers. Jane is definitely suspicious of Kent, and she has a very good reason to be, she just doesn't really know yet, but our good Detective will and I'm excited to write when that goes down lol. Reviews definitely help when my muse is in a rut.
