Rin clomped through the house in her boots. Not because she forgot: because it annoyed Kunimitsu.
Kyo, reading a book, looked up at her. "Hey." He then did a double take. "You look really pale. You sick or something?"
"Shut up." She stormed up to her room.
'Damn stuck-up horse,' Kyo thought. 'Why doesn't she stay at Kagura's house when she's like this? Anyway, not my problem.'
For some reason, he felt his eyes drawn to the kitchen.
As Kazuma came in, he smiled at Kyo cooking. "You're cooking rice porridge? Are those chives?"
Kyo reddened. "Leave me alone, shishou."

Going through old notebooks, I found this drabble, which I probably wrote around 2009, but for some reason I never published. It fits in well with the "Filly & Kitty" storyline. Hope you enjoy!
