(Irina's Request Part 2)

*October 12th, 1920*

*4:10pm*

*Rue Gutenberg*

Everyone had arrived at Rue Gutenberg as everybody had exited their respective vehicles as everyone had stared at Irina and Felix's home which was rather Victorian in terms of appearance as it appeared to somewhat resemble a hotel.

"Wow! That's a pretty nice place that you guys have here but is there any room for us?" Kazumi asked Irina and Felix as the couple shook their heads at his question.

"I'm afraid not, everyone can stay here for a short time however once the time comes then everyone but the Romanovs will have to depart since me and Irina are offering them to live here..." Felix responded back as his statement caught everyone by surprise.

"W-Wait?! Y-You want us to live here with you both?" Tatiana spoke in surprise as she saw the couple nod their heads in confirmation.

"Isn't that wonderful? We'll pay for everyone's living expenses and you can spend the rest of your lives here in France with me and my dear Felix. Think about it! You and everyone else can be happy at long last" Irina spoke back to Tatiana with a smile on her face yet with a serious tone in her voice as this made everyone think about the offer.

"What about us? Are we gonna stay here as well?" Yelena wrote in her notebook as she showed Irina and Felix her thoughts as she pointed at Kaede, Kazumi, and Bartok in the process as she gave off a rather concerned look on her face as this seemed to make Irina and Felix even more sad.

"I'm afraid not, We can't risk taking in more people than what we can already handle. We even spoke to Kaede and Anastasia about this as well but it seems Kaede didn't handle that well…" Felix spoke back to Yelena as he remembered the events not too long ago.

*20 minutes earlier*

Anastasia was shocked at Irina's request as she was taken by surprise by the new revelation.

"What do you mean? I think they shouldn't stay in France yet I do get where you're coming from as well however I think that it's best for everyone to head to America where it's more safer" Kaede had spoken out as everything went silent with only the car making noise.

"Our cousins had been through so much in the last two years so we truly want to make their lives better than the hell they've experienced and please have our trust in which is that France is indeed a safe place for them as well. We can also pay for their living expenses but the only hard part for them is for the others to go their separate ways…" Irina spoke back to Kaede as she looked over to Anastasia who seemed to be stuck in her thoughts.

"I know this may seem like a hard choice however many of the other homes in our area are filled as well besides a few spots in which is for our family but Please understand that we're doing what's best for our family." Felix added on to the conversation as his face was a mixture of sadness yet seriousness.

"I'm sorry but what about Bartok? Kazumi? And Yelena? They won't have a place to stay and Yelena is an Orphan as well! They can't be left in the dust just like that!" Kaede spoke back to Irina and Felix in a much louder tone of voice as she awaited for more responses.

*End of Flashback*

Felix had finished telling everyone about the conversation that happened in the car as everyone was silent and deep in their thoughts.

"I'm sorry, I refuse! I know that you're my cousin Irina. I will always love you and cherish the good moments that we had in our lives but If I can't have a happy future where Yelena is happy, and where I can enjoy it with Kazumi and Bartok alongside with my family then I don't want any of it! Kaede has worked so hard to bring us towards this point in our lives so we can't afford for it to fall into shambles. Please understand my words Cousin Irina okay? I would love to spend the rest of my life with you both but alongside Bartok, Kazumi, and Yelena as well. Those three are my dear and loving friends. I don't want to sacrifice them if it means living here. They're also like family towards me as well so please understand these words" Anastasia spoke as she reached out her hand towards the couple with a smile on her face.

"She's right, I know that Irina and Felix are family but I truly understand her words and where she's coming from and I applaud her for that" Kazumi thought to himself as he smiled at the events as he looked at what was transpiring.

"Anastasia is right, We can't afford to lose any more of our beloved friends but please don't think that we're making you both to be the bad guys here. I truly understand that you just want what's best for us as well, however I feel like moving to America will birth a new chapter in our life and it's funny that it's coming from me since I always preferred to stay in Russia but I guess that's what happens when revolutions happen but please try to understand Anatasia's words. She has grown into a fine and beautiful young woman who always isn't afraid to speak her mind. I mean she has always been like this as well.." Olga added on to the conversation as she had a smile on her face.

"You truly value your friends don't you? I'm glad but if that's what truly makes everyone happy then I will allow it but please be sure to write to us in some way as well okay?" Irina spoke to everyone as she walked towards Anastasia to return and warm handshake before embracing in a hug for a moment before releasing each other from the hug.

"Thank you! Please know that what we're doing is the right thing!" Kaede spoke to the couple with a smile on her face.

"BUT the least everyone can do is visit us while everyone is still here and besides! I can see that little Alexei is starting to look like his father!" Felix said as he looked at Alexei who had a smile on face.

"Thank you so much for understanding my sister's words. I truly appreciate it" Alexei thanked Irina and Felix with a smile on his face.

"Well? Let's head inside before we all freeze to death like Ra-" Irina spoke to everyone as she managed to catch herself at the very last part while Felix glared at her.

"Well? Let's head inside!" Felix had spoken to everyone as everyone but Kazumi and Bartok followed him inside of the building.

"I wonder what Irina was gonna say before she caught herself? Felix gave her quite the look…" Bartok spoke to Kazumi as he was met with the same thoughts as well.

"You're right but let's not think too much about it okay?" Kazumi replied back to Bartok as the pair fistbumped each other and proceeded to run inside of the building.
