A/N: since I think that I was grasping at straws on Game of Life, I decided to document the supposed events that can support this pairing.

Chapter 9: Self Discovery [Part 12]

The time for the battle finally arrived.

Rukia and Renji were instructed to descend to Soul Society, and aid the Gotei 13 in fighting the Quincy armies.

As they exited the Monk's palace, Rukia could not help but stare at the chamber in which Byakuya is training.

They were so busy with their individual training that, they have almost no time to talk.

Rukia and Renji, garbed with the Ouken clothing, made by Shutara from the hair and bones of squad 0, were able to bypass the barrier of the Soul King palace.

As they fall into the battle ground, that is the Soul Society.

"What's the plan?" Rukia asked Renji, as they shunpoed from the top of the ruined buildings.

"Plan?" Renji asked incredously. "Attack and Fight. That's the plan!" he said confidently, with an arrogant smirk.

Rukia wanted to face palm at Renji's reply, so typical of him. To attack without thinking.

"Let's separate then" Rukia agreed after some time. "and meet at the rendezvous point" she added, as she contemplated the distructions in Seiretie. Unrecognizable.

At that, they parted ways.

As Rukia continues to shunpo as she hides her presence, suddenly she felt cold.

And not the kind of cold she possess.

It's the type of cold that prickle your skin…

Due to fear.

"Where is my Senbonzakura"
