A.N. — I've written Andromeda Tonks, Nymphadora Tonks, Remus Lupin, and Teddy Lupin. It's about time I filled in the missing piece of that particular family. He died sometime in March, so consider this drabble doubly overdue.

116. Edward "Ted" Tonks

Edward called his wife Dromeda and his daughter Dora. It was only fair his name got shortened to Ted in return. That was just the kind of family they were.

Despite her pureblood background, Andromeda Tonks (née Black) wasn't one to stand on tradition overmuch. She had married a muggleborn and given birth to a metamorph; upholding "typical" magical normalcy would never be possible in their household. Ted fit that mindset, and rather enjoyed thumbing his nose at the more stuffy elements of British wizarding society. So when Dora announced her intentions to marry a werewolf, Ted needed no convincing.
