(Irina and Felix)

*October 13th, 1920*

*10:12pm*

Irina and Felix sat next to each other as they had tea next to the fireplace in the living room area of their home as they thought back on the previous day as everything was silent before one of them managed to speak.

"Do you truly believe Miss Fuyou's story? It seems quite ridiculous if you think about it but if Anastasia says it's true then she's surely telling the truth right?" Felix asked Irina as he took a sip of tea from his cup as he sat it down as he awaited his answer.

"I'm sure Miss Fuyou and Anastasia are telling the truth. Maybe that young girl is truly sent here to save our family but I truly wish we could say the same for Nicholas and Alexandra. All of this would have never happened if Rasputin never came and seduced my uncle and aunt with his slick tongue…" Irina spoke back to him as she got up from her seat and made her way towards the fireplace to ensure that the fire wouldn't die down.

"You have a good point. That's why I did what I had to do regarding Rasputin as well. He was clearly a danger to Mother Russia and the main core to why there is a revolution that's STILL going on to this very day…" Felix added on to the conversation as he saw Irina walk back towards where he was sitting and proceeded to sit right next to him once more.

"Very true as well, but to change the subject. I never expected Anastasia out of all people to stand her ground like she displayed yesterday but she was always the feisty one out of the sisters so I could understand that as well but, All of them truly had grown into beautiful and wonderful young women and Alexei is closely resembling Nicholas as well" Irina spoke back to Felix as she taken a sip from her tea and stared at the fireplace that was flickering as they talked.

"Indeed but speaking of Alexei, He doesn't have much time left. The hemophilia will sadly take his life before he hits his 20s or 30s if he's lucky…" Felix spoke back to Irina once more as he held back tears and was trying to keep his emotions in check as he felt a warm side hug from Irina.

"That's the sad truth of it. As of right now, there is no cure for that terrible disease! It's simply horrible that a young boy's life is snatched away due to this terrible thing! But Cousin Olga has given me insight regarding Alexei as well…" Irina had spoken back to Felix as she continued to give him more comfort as she remembered her previous conversation with Olga.

*Flashback*

Olga and Irina were sitting next to each other in the sofas as Irina was listening to Olga speak.

"Alexei may not have much time to live. I can tell that he's accepted it. BUT! As long as he can spend time with his loved ones and make happy and beautiful memories with us then I feel like he can truly accept his early death. I understand that life for him is short but Life is what you MAKE of it okay? Alexei is truly a beautiful and loving soul and as long as he's happy then it's all good to him!" Olga had spoken to Irina as those words seemed to have given her a sense of comfort as she placed her hands on her chest and closed her eyes.

"Thank you Cousin Olga, your words have truly touched me so once again I give you my thanks. I truly do!" Irina had spoken back to Olga as the pair embraced in a warm hug before letting each other go.

"I promise you this! Once we reach America, I will dedicate research towards hemophilia and hope to discover a cure for it and if not, maybe a way for people who share Alexei's condition can live beautifully without pain or worry. I love my little siblings so very much so I'm trying to be the best motherly figure that I can be and look! I've struggled with many things two years ago such as anxiety and depression but with help from my siblings and friends I've managed to overcome those things but those feelings are still there but it's not as bad now." Olga had spoken to Irina as her words seemed to have struck Irina once more as she gently grabbed Olga's arm and looked at her in the eyes.

"I'm terribly sorry that you went through such terrible things. I'm glad that you're doing well my dear cousin. I truly mean that as well. I don't want anything happening to you or any of my other cousins as well" Irina spoke back to Olga as the pair embraced in one final warm hug before releasing each other.

*End of Flashback*

Felix was touched by Irina's story as he smiled warmly as he got up from the sofa to check on the fireplace.

"Kaede is truly remarkable for making all of this happen. Bonds being rekindled once more. Alexei being more hopeful about his future despite the odds. I'm very impressed at everything. Kaede is truly one of the best people in existence…" Felix spoke to Irina as the couple shared a warm smile as he walked back to Irina and sat right next to her.

"You're definitely right about that fact my love" Irina spoke back to Felix as the couple shared a small kiss together as they enjoyed the fire for the remainder of the night.

"That's Kaede for you! Being the wonderful bestie that she is! My bestie is truly the bestest bestie to ever live!" Anastasia thought to herself with a smile as it seems she was spying on the entire ordeal the whole time as she slowly walked back into her room and rested for the remainder of the night.
