A/N: since I think that I was grasping at straws on Game of Life, I decided to document the supposed events that can support this pairing.
Chapter 10: Blood War [part 5]
Finally, everyone of the surviving contenders met at the front of the fallen Soul King palace.
Rukia, Byakuya, Renji, and all the remaining Shinigamis stand their ground, to prevent the Quincies from following Ichigo Kurosaki, as he sought to fight Yhwach, the father of Quincy race.
As they fight Gerard Valkyrie "The Miracle".
An overpowered enemy.
The Soul Kings' heart.
There, Byakuya showed off his new Bankai, which allows all of his swords in the Senkei to be used.
"This is how you kill your enemy" Byakuya stated, a lecture to the younger shinigami, Rukia, Renji and others.
And turned to annihilate Gerard, mercilessly.
This made Momo, horrified at such brutality.
While Rukia take a note of such technique, studious. Admiring.

But suddenly, they were all blown away, as Gerard manifest his Miracle, as he returned with much stronger and ginormous power.
Everyone were separated from one another.
Until, the only remaining contender, were the captains.
Byakuya and Toushiro Hitsugaya.

On the other hand, Renji and Rukia, tried their best not fall down to Soul Society, along with the debris they were currently on.
And thus, the two joined forces, as Rukia climbed at Renji's back, in a Peggy Back-ride manner, to not get separated from one another.
A comical reenactment of their childhood memories together.
