Luna was absolutely amazed by the sound of this French metal band playing in this theater. It consisted of three men jamming and playing in this empty venue. All three of them had long hair, and they certainly had the 80's hair metal look to them by the looks of their hair. "Whoa." Luna said. "Look at this, dudes." The band was practicing a song with the lead vocalist (who was also the lead guitarist) shred on his ax as his two bandmates played on. This band was killing the music with their amazing talents and songs. Luna noticed that these three were playing like how Motorhead was playing when Lemmy was still alive. The only difference mostly was this band was singing in French, which would make sense.
Lincoln, Mason, Sam, and Jesse looked on as this band played and played, practicing while hardly stopping. The sound of their music playing was the sound of some sort of determination.
"Oh mon dieu!" Mason recognized the group with a look of surprise. "Vulcain!" he sounded really excited to hear one of his favorite bands actually playing in front of him (even though the band is on stage, and the heroes were at the far end of the auditorium. "I never thought we would find them here." Just then, the band stopped playing as they noticed the visitors, and the heroes walked over to the very front seats that were in front of the towering stage floor to greet them.
"Ah, I see we have visitors here." the singer acknowledged. "Bienvenue, bienvenue."
"Wow, you guys are Vulcain, right?" asked Luna.
"The one and only." said the bassist.
"And France's Motorhead." the drummer exclaimed proudly with his drumsticks.
"Yeah, M- I mean Color Fire is a big, big fan of you guys." Sam remarked
The three band members looked at the green fire superhero. "Really?" asked the singer.
"Oui. I've loved your music ever since I was a kid. I've always listened to your songs." Mason replied, sounding a little nervous. "Both from the 80's to the most recent albums you made."
"Well, we are very flattered, Color Fire." said the singer. "I'm Daniel Puzio."
"And I am Vincent Puzio, Daniel's petit frere."
"And call moi name is Marc Varez." the band members all shook their hands, including Sabre, and his GIGN cronies.
"Well, we're-"
"Oh, no need for an introduction." said Daniel. "We've heard all about you, Lincoln. You guys are superheroes from America visiting here."
"And we heard about the heroic deeds you did, especially how you were keeping Les Loups Enrages out of commission." Vincent added
"You are becoming very famous here, kids." Marc smiled. "You're giving the people hope, in and outside of Etats-Unis. Although..." he looked around the group. "Where is ze Steel Soldier?"
"He's back in America, making sure everything is OK and crime is being stopped while we're here. Besides," said Mason "He's been here to Paris more times than we can count, and he was cool with it."
"Ah. That explains it." Daniel said.
"Can we have your autographs?" asked Jesse. "I know I've only heard of you cool guys recently, but your music is amazing, or manifique."
The three bandmates laughed and the frontman remarked: "I see you are all studying your French. Tres bon."
"Well, we're still learning a little bit, but Mason did help us, monsieur Daniel." Lincoln said
"Oh, we're a band, not grade school teachers. Call us by our first names." Daniel reminded
"Or you can even just call me 'Vince' if you prefer." said he. "So what brings you guys here to France?"
Lincoln was the first one to answer when he said: "Well, it was Color Fire's idea. His dad is French and his family came from French descent. He's our friend and a superhero. Besides, who wouldn't have fun traveling to another country?"
"Got that right, little bro." said Luna. "This is like my second favorite place in the world already, behind Merry ole Great Britain, that is. Granted, Britain and France have a friendly rivalry with one another."
Vulcain made a small laugh, and Daniel admitted, "Zat is so true. Even though we are close, we tend to poke fun at one another. Similar to how America and Canada poke fun at one another just for fun."
"And we owe it to France for making America the great country it is." Jesse added.
"France was America's first friend after all." said Sam.
"Right you are," said Marc.
"So you guys performing here?" Luna asked
"We most certainly are, madamosille Luna." Daniel answered with a smile. We plan to rock ze stage here tonight. Although, when we heard of Les Loups Enrages during their little raids, we've been thinking if we should cancel it for everyone's safety."
"Oui." Vince concurred. "We don't want anyone here to get hurt in an attack in the whole crowd as we play. Everyone could be vulnerable and might end up killed."
"Oh, dudes." Luna said. "The show must go on! Let nothing stop you! There is a stage right here that your adoring fans are dying to here you jam in. You can't just let all those radical people down. And besides, we can help you with that problem when you play in a few hours."
"Good idea, Luna." Sam said. "We can make sure Les Loups Enrages isn't around trying to try and... cause trouble."
"Wait a minute," said Sabre. "How are we going to root out any agents of this organisation? As monsieur Macron mentioned, they can blend in with the populace."
"You guys can be the extra security." Mason suggested.
"Good idea, Color Fire." Sebastien remarked. "After all, what fool would ever pick a fight with one of the greatest special forces on Earth?"
Vulcain looked very grateful to hear this kind offer, and they were really flattered to be protected by these famous heroes as well. "Merci. Merci beaucoup!" said the frontman. "Boys, we are continuing ze show!" his two cohorts exclaimed in joy hearing the change of plans. "How can we repay all of you?"
"You don't have to. Your gratefulness is thanks enough." Lincoln smiled.
"And, we hear you all know how to play instruments, right?" Marc asked with a smirk
"Yeah! I have a sweet ice ax that transformed when I got my ice powers."
"I play bass." Sam admitted
"I play guitar," Mason said
"So do I." Jesse smiled.
"Well, I'm not that much of a musical genius as these are. I'm just an ordinary kid." Lincoln admitted. "I can't really shred or keep up with Luna on the guitar."
"Don't be so modest." Mason said, "Your sister told us that you can play the drums alright."
"I wouldn't say play them."
"Come on." Luna smirked, giving her younger brother a pat on the back three times. "You've jammed with me and my band many times. Tambourine, guitar, drums, saxaphone, you name it."
"Well, how would you like to all jam with us?" Daniel offered
The heroes sounded excited by this very kind and generous offer, Luna pulled out her snowflake guitar, Sam her lightning bolt bass, Mason with his green fire guitar, Jesse with his ax, and Vincent had an idea. "Here Lincoln," he said. "You can borrow one of Marc's drum sets from ze tour bus."
"Merci." Lincoln said.
"Bon idee, mon frere." Daniel said before looking at Lincoln again. "Do not worry, just try not to hurt yourself and be relaxed while playing."
"Got it." the GIGN members and Sebastien sat in the front row seats, smiling, and waiting to see how this performance will turn out in this little practice session. "So what should we sing?" asked the white-haired boy. All of the heroes and band members of Vulcain began thinking of a perfect song to jam on together.
A thought came to them at last, and they all decided "Call of Duty" as their song to play. While the GIGN were enjoying this little show, these five soldiers were still on guard just in case something bad happens. Vulcain was impressed by how well these kids were playing the instruments along with them. Lincoln was even beginning to sweat from all the arm-moving and motion on banging those drums. It was like a large supergroup in the band with additional members right now. After the little jam session, they all complimented on one another about how well they played on the instruments.
Two hours passed, and the heroes were backstage with the band behind the large curtain for when the show must go on. It was decided that Luna and the heroes would be special guests on the show to play with on a song. Dozens and dozens of concert-goers and adoring fans gathered around in the seats so that they could hear Vulcain play.
Luna and the others could hardly believe they would actually be performing in Paris for the first time. It was almost like they were doing a world tour together as a band, but they were also superheroes, and they could probably do that another time in the future. This was still a week's vacation in France, so the American heroes still had time to enjoy more things French during their stay here in the heart of France. Luna, Lincoln, Mason, Jesse, and Sam were on the right end of the stage so they wouldn't be seen when the curtain drops in front of the band everyone wanted to hear. it was decided that the Heroes would be there as a special surprise guest at the last five songs of the show.
Even though Luna loved played in front of crowds, she was still nervous because Vulcain sang their lyrics in French in their songs. While noticing that she looked a little nervous, Mason and Sam reassured her that everything would be OK, and they would all be parfait in this show since Mason taught the group as many French as they needed.
Meanwhile, in the front of the stage, Sabre, Leclerc, Adewale, Paton, and Chevalier were the security in the front of the stage in case something happens, something very very chaotic and disastrous. If any Les Loups enrages tried to take down the heroes or the band, they would have to get past the impenetrable force of these brave GIGN soldiers.
Vulcain was playing like mad in their concert and the crowd was going wild with excitement. Looks like it was true that many experts say, rock n roll, and heavy metal are the greatest feelings of all when it comes to the human being. After finishing Sur le Ligne, one of their songs, Daniel went into the microphone and shouted "Tout le monde passe un bon moment? (Everyone having a good time?)" everyone in the crowd went crazy in response, "Bien! Impressionant! Nous avons ici des invites tres speciaux qui ont gentiment accepte de jouer avec nous. (Good! Awesome! We have very special guests that kindly agreed ot perform with us.)" the crowd was silent for a moment, possibly to hear what the special guests were. "Mesdames, messieurs, adorant les fans, rassemblez vos fans pour les heros (ladies, gentlemen, adoring fans, put your hands together for the heroes), Luna Frost, Lincoln Loud, Color Fire, Electrifier, et Meteor!"
Everyone recognized the heroes and they went even more crazy seeing the American heroes. Luna got her ax out, along with Sam, Mason, and Jesse, then Lincoln on the drums. "Bonjour, tout le monde!" Luna shouted with enthusiasm. "Etes vous pret a faire du rock n roll? (Are you ready to rock n roll?). Everyone clapped and cheered in response in front of the stage. Four over four songs, the heroes and Vulcain were having a blast performing together in front of all these people. Lincoln was sweating over playing the drums again, banging hard on the set, and they all played "Call of Duty" as the encore song before the concert ended.
It ended with a blast! and Daniel shouted: "Merci beaucoup! Bonne nuit!"
The fans were so happy to see them all perform for them, and it was quite the icing on the cake for the heroes to perform with them. Quite a way for them to get some extra recognition too. "That was amazing!" Lincoln panted, wiping some sweat off with a clean towel. "But I think I need a shower tonight."
"We all do." Sam said. "That was so awesome!"
"Yeah, never thought we would perform in a theater in the middle of Paris like that." Jesse agreed, drinking some cola. "You guys were wild out there. Bon travaill."
"I think we should congratulate you all for performing with us." Vince said.
"Oui. That was probably one of the funnest things I have ever done in a long time." Marc remarked.
"A blast!" Daniel said. "You want to know what zis calls for?"
"What's that?" asked Mason
"A toast!" Daniel said
"Nice." Sam said. "Got my glass of cola with me and ready to pour it on ya guys."
"Same dudette, same." Luna laughed. They all readied their glass of iced soda and Daniel was the one to make the toast, and he said: "A votre sante." which meant "to your health", a French custom of making a toast. Just like that, everyone gently touched their glasses at one another and took a few drinks together (non-alcohol wise of course). Sebastien came up to the group with the five GIGN members looking proud. "You kids did so well today. Bon travaille."
"Merci, doctor. It was totally awesome, brah." Luna smiled before taking a few more sips. "I wish we can hang out with you guys again."
Vulcain smiled at one another like they had an idea. "Actually," said Vince, "You can."
"How so?" asked Mason
"Here. A gift from us." Daniel gave them each a card. "If you all want to talk to us, give us a call." then he winked at them.
"Really?" asked Lincoln
"Absolutely, Lincoln." Daniel smiled at him. "Besides, you are all amazing heroes as you are amazing musicians. But, how would you like a photo with us as a memento?"
The kids gasped and they all loved the idea completely. All of them formed a group photo, except for the professor and GIGN members, still smiling warmly at the group as they took a photo with Frances' version of Motorhead.
