Taiga and Ryuuji sat in their cold, damp apartment as the married couple heard people shouting outside. Taiga frowned as she leaned up against her husband and Ryuuji took a deep breath as he wrapped an arm around Taiga and rubbed her back, "It'll be okay, Taiga. I know this isn't like home, or your secure apartment, but we'll make it work…we'll look for a safer neighborhood as soon as possible,"
"Soon enough isn't soon enough, Ryuuji," Taiga sighed and shook her head before leaning up against Ryuuji, "Damn that bastard. Ever since we got married, my idiot father has been trying to ruin our lives," Ryuuji frowned as he felt Taiga shake and heard her choke on tears, "And he did it when Minori, Kitamura and Kawashima went away for the month,"
"We could've asked Yasuko if we could-"
"She's done more than enough for me…she made me feel like I was part of your family before we even got engaged, before we even realized that we cared for each other…I don't want to bother her anymore,"
Ryuuji sighed and lightly kissed the side of her head before he rubbed her back, "C'mon Taiga, I'll call Yasuko and ask her if we can stay there for a bit…just until we find a place of our own," Taiga moaned and slowly nodded before they stood up and walked into the other room.
