The beginning and the end

Chapter 120th

While she was feeding him the ice chips. She was still feeling slightly strange while sitting in the wheelchair after asking the doctor to come to her husband's room. She hated this once again after spending three months in the safe house.

Changes need to be made or else she is going to wind up into a dark void once again. She continued to talk to her husband. He had been sucking on the ice chips.

"Feeling better Jethro?" she asked once again.

"Yes, Loreile. Thank you. Tell me why are you sitting in a wheelchair?" the one question she didn't wish to answer at the moment.

"Long story baby. However due to all of the stress I had been under the past months was due to affect me, and I passed out earlier. My doctor suggested putting me into a room to rest until I heard what had happened to you. So I suggested coming here inside. I promised them that I will head back to my room in order to sleep like I should be doing."

"I am truly sorry Loreile for having to put you through hell. I think it's best we talk another time. Since I can't seem to keep my eyes open. No doubt it's the pain medication is causing it for me to sleep?" he had closed his eyes when Loreile had gone over to the intercom to asked for someone to take me out of the room.

However, it wasn't all that long once she was back in her room that she started to have suffered from contractions. And the only one available at the moment to help her with getting through it was Bishop having to be visiting her at the moment. She had asked her at the time and for which she accepted gracefully...

Eleanor Bishop having had her own son Dane knew how it felt to be in labor after nine hours with her own husband Nick by her side. And this time Bishop was on the receiving end with heading for the birthing room to help her through it after everyone had been notified except for Gibbs still asleep.

The doctors had decided to keep him sleeping for a few more hours before waking him with letting him know about his wife in labor.

Doctor Angela Silvers had been checking her every hour. While her assistant will be walking in wearing a gown, gloves, and cap to see how far along she was at the moment. Meanwhile Loreile she crying out with the contractions having to be strong, while Bishop was holding her hand.

Bishop trying to get her to talk. So she decided to go with the subject on how she had first met Leroy Jethro Gibbs.

"OMG! My friend Leon Vance asked me a big favor by rehabbing Gibbs first in the hospital and then at home. After he was recovering from his injuries the second time he was rescued in Paraguay. We were both falling in love with each other realizing it at his house." she had to cry out again from the pain hitting her with the contractions. "And the rest is history Eleanor!"

"Are you alright Loreile?" Bishop responded with the question.

"I just miss my husband a great deal, while he's asleep in his room while his doctors keep him that way until they think that he's able to hold on with his health," she said with the contractions was getting worst.

Doctor Angela Silvers walked in after consulting with her assistant that it was almost time to deliver the baby boy. "Doc will the delivery be videotaped?"

Loreile was concerned that her husband was going to miss out on watching the birth of his son.

"Yes, so this way your husband won't have to miss out on a thing for when he's ready to view it." Doctor Silvers had to say with a smirk on her face.

Sometime later DELIVERY ROOM

"Are you ready Loreile for this baby to come out?" Doctor Silvers said with the instruments down below checking for the dilation.

"OMG! Let's do this now!" she cried out as she was sweating and Bishop was helping the best to could with pushing Loreile...

"One the count of three I want you to push as hard as you can Loriele. Bishop lifts her head in order to coax her with the pushing. 1, 2, and 3 PUSH!"

Loreile cried out as she pushed as if her insides were being torn opened down below.

"The crown of the head is almost out. Again! Doctor Silvers ordered with her hands with the blue gloves were getting ready to pull the rest of the baby out.

"JESUS!" SHE SAID LOUDLY AS SHE PUSHED SO HARD WITH A DEEP BREATH AND BISHOP coaxing her for the final time as baby Daniel finally made his appearance with a slap to his bottom to hear the cries.

She had never felt so good now that Daniel was now out of her. Daniel James Jackson Gibbs was being taken by the nursing staff cleaning him up before weighing him.

"Doc I need to know what is the weight of my newborn son?" Loreile croaked out with Bishop was thrilled to be a part of the delivery.

"You're talking about the bet on the weights at the Naval Yards?" Elle says with having picked 7 pounds 14 ounces.

"Okay, your son weighs eight pounds one ounce. So who won?" Doctor Silvers was curious.

"Would you believe it was my husband and his very old friend Doctor Donald Mallard?" Loreile says with closing her eyes exhausted.

"We need to get you all cleaned up and moved to your room to sleep. Special Agent Bishop/Torres thank you for helping my patient with the delivery of Daniel?" she said with removing her gloves with cleaning them up to head out while her team was taking care of Loreile and the baby into the nursery. Later is when she will get a chance to hold her newborn son.
