The beginning and the end
Chapter 121th
At some point, Loreile had woke after delivering Daniel crying her eyes out. She had no idea as to why she was crying even though it was tears of joy or the fact that her husband was in his own hospital room unable to see the birth of his third son Daniel.
She needed to get up from the bed needing to go. However, the nurse had come in knowing this was going to happen in the first place.
"Am I able to get out of bed?" she had to ask with the young nurse bringing over the walker sitting in the corner for her to be using.
"Use the walker while I will make sure you don't falter Mrs. Gibbs," she suggested with bringing over the walker on the edge of the bed. "Please take your time before we are able to bring in your son to feed with the bottle. Since I understand you don't breastfeed at all?" she said with a slight smile.
"That is a correct nurse. By the way, has there been any word on my husband's condition in ICU?" she was extremely concerned.
"From what I understand his condition has been downgraded from critical. Doctor Cyril Taft and the rest of the specialists will be working on him in a few days in order to replace the heart valve on his left side. They believe that he's going to be stronger for the surgery." she will say with the intel had given to her.
"Thank you." Loreile had to say with moving slowly with feeling it down below after the delivery of Daniel and with having to be an eight-pound one-ounce baby. Moving off the bed feeling slightly dizzy along with being hungry herself and thirsty.
The young nurse behind her was able to make sure that she was able to make it to the toilet without any trouble at all. After some time doing her business. She needed to use the sink to throw cold water over her face looking just awful without any makeup in her eyes.
She came back out to sit in the chair directed by the nurse before going out to have the nursery bring in Daniel. Loreile grabbed her phone that was sitting in her purse in the closet. She needed to call her sister Elizabeth letting her know the entire story after being gone for the past three months.
However, the nursery was quick with bringing in Daniel in one of the arms of a nurse and another bringing in supplies.
"OMG! Look how beautiful he is?" she cried out with the nurse placing him into her arms along with the bottle of milk that was just perfect.
"I agree." the young nurse had to say. "I will leave you with him for ten minutes before taking him back to the nursery." she had walked out of the private room in order for Loreile to use the bottle with her newborn son Daniel and a white towel left on the bed to use.
She had felt so bad that her husband wasn't able to be there for the birth of his third son. Giving the bottle to him. Daniel started to drink the milk inside being content with his mother.
Meanwhile, Doctor Cyril Taft came into Special Agent Gibbs's room to check on his patient. Since he was doing slightly better in general. He was going to be bringing Gibbs out of his forced coma. Doctor Silverton had agreed to the idea after reading the updated medical file.
Giving the shot into his friend's right arm. The drug was going to take a few moments to bring him out of it. While Taft had been checking his vitals.
Taft sat down to relax for now reading in general his medical file. There was a note listed that Doctor Gelfand will be arriving soon from Daniel Webster to consult on the case.
He had fond memories of having worked on the U.S.S. Daniel Webster for a little over a year after the death of his son Paul. And then having to meet up with Special Agent Gibbs having been shot in his chest and right knee by young boy Luke Harris.
Shaking of his head. Doctor Taft heard moaning all of a sudden coming out of Gibbs's mouth. He had gotten up from the chair to head on over to coax his friend further.
"Come on Jethro, you're able to wake fully now. It's Doctor Cyril Taft. You're in the hospital after being rescued by NCIS and the R.E.A.C.T." he says with emotion.
"Is it true Loreile was here talking to me Doc?" he said with a low tone of voice.
"Yeah, it's true. She is here in her own room after delivering your son Daniel after eight hours of contractions."
"Who stayed with my wife?" he said with his throat dry. "Water please!" he asks with no emotion.
"Bishop. I will get you the water. But you need to drink it slowly Jethro?" he ordered with getting up to pour the water from the pitcher into the small cup and bringing it up to his lips after raising the top part of the bed.
After a few moments. Gibbs was feeling better. "Doc I need to see my wife if it means that I have to sit in a wheelchair along with seeing my son?" he asks with the order having Taft with the shaking of his head.
"Are you serious Jethro? You're in no condition to get out of the bed with a heart condition. You're scheduled for surgery in a few days to repair the left side heart valve." Taft exclaimed with his words to his patient.
"Maybe you're able to bring them here instead?" Gibbs needed to say finishing up the water.
"I will see what I can do with setting it up Jethro," Taft suggested.
