Some of you may have noticed that I changed the ending a bit from the previous chapter.

That was because I accidentally uploaded the wrong chapter and replaced it with the correct one.

Other than that, enjoy!

When Usagi and Harusuke next woke up, they found themselves flat on their backs in Rei's room. Usagi was on the bed and Harusuke on a futon. They two felt very part of their bodies aching as they sat up.

"You're both awake," Ami spoke with relief. "Thank goodness."

"Are you two okay?" asked Rei.

"I think so," said Usagi while holding her head.

"We've been through worse," said Harusuke. "How did we get here?"

Mamoru frowned. "Sailor Uranus and Neptune attacked us," he said. "After Uranus and Solaris's attacked collided, they escaped in the confusion."

"I can't believe those two would attack us for no reason!" Makoto spoke angrily, punching her fist into her palm.

"This doesn't make any sense," said Luna. "It's unheard of, even for them. Why would they do such a thing?"

"Perhaps it's because they don't want you getting involved," said a voice that came from outside of the room. "If anything, they most likely know that you kids shouldn't have interacted with them in the first place."

Everyone looked up, and Specter entered the room.

"Specter!" said Harusuke. "What do you mean by that?"

Specter walked into the room and explained. "You see, unlike all of you, Sailors Uranus and Neptune are guardians who aren't normally supposed to be here," he said. "While they are indeed Guardians, they have their own mission as well as their own domains. It is also said that they're legendary Sailor Guardians shrouded in mystery, protecting the Silver Millennium from the far reaches of space. In a way, they're a bit similar to Sailor Pluto, and given that their domains are so far away, and no one has ever seen them until recent events, most likely something's happened."

"Do you mean the Death Busters and the Messiah of Silence?" asked Ami. "Well, they do seem to be after them..."

"Then they must be on our side, right?" Usagi cut in. "I mean, they are our fellow guardians!"

"They attacked us without any explanation and unprovoked," Minako spoke firmly. "To me, that makes them enemies."

"And they said themselves that weren't our friends, nor did they have any intentions of teaming up with us," added Rei. "So reasoning with them is not an option either."

"The way I see it if they attack us again," went on Minako. "We'll have no choice but to fight back."

"Now, hold on just a minute!" Harusuke spoke while shooting to his feet. "There is no way you can make me fight against a fellow guardian! There has to be a reason as to why they attacked us the way they did!"

"And you think that they're just going to tell you their reason, Harusuke?" huffed Makoto. "I say Minako's right. Next time they attack us, I ain't gonna hold back!"

Everyone else agreed, except for Usagi and Harusuke, both of which couldn't say anything more. Specter, on the other hand, remained silent while leaving the room.

After that, Mamoru, Usagi, Harusuke, and Chibiusa were walking home. Needless to say, none of them could say anything after their discussion. Usagi and Harusuke were lost in their own thoughts, thinking about Sailor Uranus and Neptune wondering if they were their enemies.

At last, Chibiusa spoke up, speaking to Mamoru. "Hey, Mamo. I know what everyone else has said, but I don't think Uranus and Neptune are our enemies," she said. "They may seem like they were trying to hurt us, but deep down, I know they're good people. I'm sure of it."

Mamoru smiled. "Let's hope so," he said kindly.

Harusuke also gave Usagi a pat on her shoulder to try and cheer her up. "Hear that, Sis? It seems like we're not the only ones who believe in them," he whispered.

Usagi stayed silent.

"Don't worry. We'll figure this out," went on Harusuke. "And if we run into them again, we'll think of something. Okay?"

The ordango blonde answered with a tiny nod without looking up as the group set off for home.

In the lab of the Death Busters, the three members of the Witches 5 were having a meeting.

"Good grief. First, Eudial, and now Mimete is dead," huffed Tellu. "I had a feeling that she would be the next to go. All that girl cared about was her silly reputation as a star."

"Well, we needn't worry about her anymore," said Viluy. "We need to stay focused on the task at hand, and that's finding the last talisman for the master."

"But who's going to take over now that Mimete's dead?" asked Cyprine. "Kaolinite's still in holed up with Master Pharoh 90 recovering, and Tomoe's off taking care of other business."

"Well, since no one else is coming up with any ideas, I might as well take the lead," said Viluy. "Besides, unlike Eudial and Mimete, I have a big plan to search for numerous people at once for pure heart crystals."

"Is that so?" said Cyrpine doubtfully.

"Sounds very interesting," said Tellu. "Would you care to explain what that plan is?"

Viluy clicked her tongue while wagging her finger. "Now, now. A brilliant strategist must never reveal her plans," she said. "And, I intend to make it a surprise for Magus Kaolinite. And if those Guardians try to interfere, I've got a secret weapon for dealing with them." She then changed into her Mugen uniform with a twirl of her heel. "Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to prepare. I have a feeling that we'll be meeting our enemies again soon. By the time I'm finished, the title of Magus is as good as mine."

It was raining the next day at Juuban Middle School. Usagi, Harusuke, Ami, and Makoto were hanging out in the classroom, watching and listening to the pitter batter of it falling.

"It sure is raining outside," said Ami.

"I'll say. It always pouring this time of the year," sighed Harusuke. "It's actually quite depressing."

"I'll say it is!" complained Usagi as she slumped at her desk, looking at a recent test score. "Midterms, protests, and finals. How's a girl supposed to be happy?!"

"Well, naturally, we're going to have a lot of tests, but they are necessary, Usagi," Ami spoke importantly. "After all, we're going to have High School Entrance exams soon."

"Don't remind me," Usagi grumped as she sadly plopped her head on her desk.

"Sorry, Sis, but those are the breaks," chuckled Harusuke.

"Anyway, that reminds me of something," said Ami. "Have any of you heard about the new prep school?"

"You mean the one that's over by Mugen?" wondered Makoto. "What about it?"

Ami then showed her friends a flier. "Yes. They'll allow any student to take mock exams there," she explained. "But there's one girl that always gets the top score on those exams. They've scored even higher than me."

Usagi, Harusuke, and Makoto gasped in shock.

"No way! There's someone that scores even higher than you?!" Harusuke exclaimed.

"Who is this girl?!" asked Makoto.

"Her name is Yui Bidou, and she attends Mugen Academy," said Ami. "I'm would like to meet her one of these days.

Later after school, Ami observed a class at the Mugen Prep School, standing in the back of the class. As she watched, Ami couldn't help but notice how focused the students were as they went about studying, the air filled with excitement and tension. She had never seen anything like it before.

"I was wondering who got full marks on the placement exam," said a voice coming from her left.

Ami looked to her left, and as a young girl walked up to her. She was wearing the Mugen Academy schoolgirl's uniform, had fair skin and long pale blue hair that went to her shoulders. She was, of course, a certain Death Buster in disguise, but Ami had no way of knowing yet.

"Hello there. You must be Ami Mizuno. Your reputation as a genius precedes you," the girl greeted. "My name is Yui Bidou. I guess you could say that I'm the genius of Mugen Prep. It's a pleasure to meet your acquaintance."

"Nice to meet you," Ami greeted back.

Yui then looked towards the other students in the class. "Of course, Mugen Prep is a fine institution," she went on. "But nothing compares to the comprehensive structure of Mugen Academy. There's no other school that can imitate our curriculum or our love for learning." She then looked across to Ami. "Say, Ms. Mizuno, you wouldn't be interested in a trial enrollment, would you?"

Ami could only stare at Yui in surprise, not expecting such a request.

When Ami managed to get a moment alone, she contacted the others through her communicator outside of the prep school. She then told them all about Yui and her offer. Naturally, the group was surprised as well as worried.

"So, you're actually going to attend Mugen Academy?!" Minako spoke incredulously.

"It's way too dangerous!" objected Rei. "You'll be all by yourself!"

"Don't worry, guys. I'll fine," reassured Ami. "If anything happens, I'll contact you immediately."

At first, everyone was still worried, but Harusuke spoke up.

"All right then," he conceded. "But make sure you're careful."

Ami winked goodbye and turned off her communicator. Then, she went inside the building and spoke to the reception lady who was by the entrance. Once she gave her directions of where she was supposed to go, Ami took the elevator to the thirteenth floor, where she was to report to the third-year science classroom.

When she found the classroom and entered it, it was very dark and quiet. It was still raining a bit outside, so the classroom wasn't very lit with the light being off. Several vials, beakers, and bottles were laid out on the tables, giving it a feel of being a laboratory rather than a classroom.

Ami ventured further into the classroom, being cautious yet feeling curious until her eyes fell upon something quite strange. To her right was a square-like case, and inside of it was what looked like a galaxy. As soon as she saw it, Ami couldn't help but stare at it in amazement as she got closer. The more she stared at it, the more she lost herself in its mysterious glow. Then, a hand reached out and touched Ami's shoulder, causing her to tear her eyes away and jump from fright only to see that it was Yui as she looked back.

"I was waiting for you, Ms. Mizuno," said Yui.

As Ami calmed down, she couldn't help but glance back at the case. "For a second, I thought I was going to get sucked in by that thing," she thought.

"Say, Yui, what is that?" Ami asked. "I've never seen anything like it."

"It's a perfect miniature universe known as the Tau Star System," said Yui. "It was created by our science class. Beautiful, isn't it?"

"It certainly is impressive," said Ami.

Then, the school bell began to chime, signaling that class was about to begin.

"Please, excuse me, but I have another class, and I can't afford to skip it," apologized Yui. "Would you please wait here for me?"

"Sure. No problem," said Ami.

Yui then left, leaving Ami alone. When she was gone, Ami couldn't help but glance back at the case, feeling puzzled. "The Tau Star System, huh?" she repeated to herself. "I've never heard of it."

Suddenly, Ami felt a chill shoot through her spine, sensing that she was being watched, and sure enough, as she glanced back, she saw a security camera in the corner of the room that had its gaze fixed on her.

In the space where Master Pharoh 90 resided, Kaolinite watched Ami through the fountain connected to the security camera.

"I'm sensing an unusual power from this girl," Kaolinite said to herself. "Could she be protected by a Guardian Planet? A Sailor Guardian?"

"Yes, I believe she is, Magus Kaolinite," said a voice via telepathy. "After all, she was attracted to the

The water then rippled, and a projection of Yui Bidou appeared in the water. No sooner than she appeared, the water ripped again, revealing herself to be Viluy.

"If my theory is correct, her attraction to the miniature universe proves that she is indeed a Sailor Guardian," said Viluy. "If I may have your permission, Mistress Kaolinite, allow me, Yui Bidou, aka Viluy of the Witches 5, head of science, to deal with her."

"Are you certain that you can, Viluy?" asked Kaolinite.

"But of course," Viluy spoke with confidence. "After all, considering that Mimete was at level forty and Eudial at level seventy-eight, they were facing some pretty low odds before their battles even began. On the other hand, I am at level two hundred and two, and by using my special system, I'll not only search for the last talisman from these students, but I'll also obtain the host of a Sailor Guardian. Either way, I'm sure we will obtain quite the prize for the master."

Kaolinite was pleased. "The host of a Sailor Guardian," she repeated with a smile. "I can only imagine the energy it will have."

At that moment, Ami sharply turned around and threw something, which in turn cut her picture from the water, much to Kaolinite's surprise.

Using her pen as a dart, Ami had thrown it straight at the security camera, disabling it. Not wasting time, she quickly exited the classroom. She stealthy and carefully made her way down the hall and peered out from the corner, making sure no one was around. Then, she saw a sign close to the staircase that read, "Underground Laboratories. No admittance."

Knowing that it was worth investigating, Ami went down the stairs, unaware that two familiar girls from Mugen kept an eye on her. She dashed down the stairs as fast as she could until she came to a door. Without giving it a moment's thought, she entered and was welcomed to a startling sight.

The room was lined with large cages, all filled with strange and vicious creatures that either snarled, hissed, or roared at her presence while they glared with glowing red eyes.

The girl couldn't help but jump back in surprise and fright. "An animal experimentation room?!" she gasped in thought.

Then came another noise. The sound of banging coming from a door on the other side of the room. Ami quickly went over to inspect and peered into the room through a small window. Inside it, she could see a familiar creature that roared and snarled at her as it banged against the bars of the cage.

"That's a type two Daimon!" Ami gasped. Then she realized. "So that's it! This is where all the Daimons are made!"

Suddenly, the lights snapped open, and Ami turned around to find Yui standing before her with a large group of students, all having black stars on their foreheads.

"Well, now. So this is where you are, Ms. Mizuno," Yui spoke with a dark smile. "In case you haven't noticed, class is in session, and you're late. Shall we start the lesson?"

Before Ami could defend herself, two of the students grabbed hold of each of her arms and dragged her along. She struggled and kicked, trying to get free, but they wouldn't let go. As her prisoner, Yui made the students drag Ami back upstairs, and they backed back upstairs to a computer class. Inside, the students were typing away at the computers, staring at the screens with blank zombie-like expressions as the screens. As they did, each of them had a large glowing purple star shine bright on them, then each shot out a small beam of light in the middle of their chests, revealing their pure heart crystals.

"You're missing much, but we've just launched our operation," said Yui. "As you can see, the nanobots in my program are not only gathering a lot of hosts but are also searching their pure heart crystals for a talisman. With my special system, not only will I be able to offer up hosts for Master Pharoh 90, but I can also utilize their empty husks as vessels. And you will soon be joining them, Ms. Mizuno. You should feel honored."

The two students that held Ami then dragged her over to an unoccupied computer intending to subject her to the same spell as the other students. Ami tried to resist with all of her might, but her captors pushed her closer to the screen, forcing her to look at it. But then, the lights suddenly turned off, and the computer screens went dark. Simultaneously, two people appeared from behind the two captors, each giving them a single chop knocking them out cold. The two turned out to be Haruka and Michiru.

"That's enough!" said Haruka.

"Class has been canceled," said Michiru.

Yui and Ami were surprised to see them, but seeing that she was free, Ami quickly bolted from the room, making her escape. As she ran down the halls, she activated her communicator.

"Girls, can you hear me?!" Ami spoke urgently. "I'm in trouble!"

"What's wrong, Ami?!" asked Usagi through the communicator.

"It's just as we feared and suspected!" Ami panted as she ran. "Mugen Academy is being controlled by the Death Busters! Come to my location immediately!"

At that moment, a powerful explosion went off from behind Ami, and Viluy came shooting out from it in hot pursuit.

"You won't get away!" Viluy shouted.

Ami then looked ahead and saw an open window. Not hesitating from a second, she jumped straight through and was now falling towards a pool below. As she continued to fall, Ami took out her transformation pen.

"MERCURY STAR POWER MAKE UP!"

Transformation Sequence: Ami

Ami held up her hand as blue sparkles swirled around it, alighting her fingernails, turning them into a shade of bright blue. Her transformation stick appears spinning, and she takes hold of it, the star on end as well as the symbol glowing. The logo on it begins to turn, enveloping Ami in blue light. Then she sweeps the pen over her head as a stream of sparkling blue water begins to emit from it, forming her leotard, boots, and gloves. A sparkling ripple, as well as a flurry of bubbles, expands over her body, creating a small mist of water that formed the rest of her uniform the same as Sailor Moon's but the center bow, boots, and rims on the gloves were blue and bright blue. She turns around and then strikes her signature pose.

Viluy landed on the ground outside of the pool, having to see Ami transform as she fell in the pool. Then, the water burst, and from it emerged Sailor Mercury.

"So, I was right then! The true identity of the genius, Ami Mizuno, is Sailor Mercury!" Viluy scowled. "Well then, in that case, prepare yourself! For you now face Viluy, a level two hundred and two Death Buster, and member of the Witches 5!"

Sailor Mercury dashed toward Viluy and used one of her moves, spinning around as water droplets surrounded her.

"MERCURY SHINE AQUA ILLUSION!"

The droplets turned into a powerful stream of water as she launched it straight at Viluy. However, Viluy danced and shot around the attack, dodging it with ease, much to the Guardian's surprise.

"Nice try. I've calculated all of your attack patterns, which let me predict them," Viluy smirked. "Now, it's my turn!" She crossed her arms and gathered power, and unleashed her own attack. "MOSIAC BUSTER!"

She then threw out her arms, releasing a ring of transparent light. The ring quickly surrounded Sailor Mercury and encased her in a strange blue barrier in a burst of light. Sailor Mercury let out a wail as her entire body was wracked with pain feeling something eating away at her body, while Viluy laughed.

"Doesn't feel good, huh? As we speak, the nanomachines from my program have worked their way into your body and are slowly breaking it down from the inside out," cackled Viluy. "In a matter of minutes, your beautiful soul and your pure heart crystal will be all that remains. Now, offer up your host and your Sailor Guardian soul to our master."

Then, three familiar voices shouted.

"MARS SNAKE FIRE!"

"JUPITER COCONUT CYCLONE!"

A giant snake of fire, along with a blue ball of lightning, shot forth, blasting Viluy and breaking her concentration. The barrier encasing Sailor Mercury broke, and Sailor Moon and Sailor Venus caught her just in time as they, along with the other Guardians, arrived.

Viluy then saw two students who wanted to see what the noise was about. Upon seeing them, she quickly summoned forth two Daimon Eggs.

"DAIMONS! ATTACK!"

She launched them straight at the students, and the students turned into Daimons, ready to fight for their master. The Guardians readied themselves for a fight as well, but then two familiar faces rushed in front of them, the faces being Haruka and Michiru.

"Well, Michiru, it looks like we may need to drop out of this school," said Haruka.

"Oh, well," smiled Michiru. "I guess you're right."

"Haruka!" gasped Sailor Moon.

"Michiru!" said Solaris.

The two girls in question took out their transformation wands and transformed.

"URANUS PLANET POWER MAKE UP!"

"NEPTUNE PLANET POWER MAKE UP!"

Transformation Sequence: Haruka

The symbol of Uranus glowing yellow spins onto Haruka's Lip Rod. Haruka's hand takes hold of it, her fingernails azure blue, and the orb releasing a brilliant flash of light. Haruka is enveloped in a glow, and using her Lip Rod in her hand, spins around tracing a circle outline of wind. She closes her arms around herself as the wind erupts, surrounding her body. Her sailor leotard, gloves, tiara, and boots immediately appear, the coloring being white, dark blue, and yellow. The transformation complete; Haruka flips her hair back as her lip gloss appears, spins around, and finishes with her signature pose.

Transformation Sequence: Michiru

The symbol of Neptune glowing blue spins onto Michiru's Lip Rod. Michiru's hand takes hold of it, her fingernails teal, and the orb releasing a brilliant flash of light. Michiru is enveloped in a glow, and using her Lip Rod in her hand, spins around tracing a circle outline of water below her spreading her arms wide. A geyser of seawater erupts from the circle, submerging her and, her sailor leotard, gloves, tiara, and boots appear, the coloring being white, sea green, and blue. The transformation complete; Michiru flips her hair back as her lip gloss appears, spins around, and finishes with her signature pose.

"Protected by Uranus, the outer planet of the wind," she proclaimed. "Guardian of the heavens! I am Sailor Uranus!"

"Protected by Neptune, the outer planet of the seas!" she also proclaimed. "Guardian of the deep sea! I am Sailor Neptune!"

Sailor Moon and the others couldn't believe their eyes.

"No way... Haruka and Michiru..." mumbled Sailor Moon.

"are Sailor Uranus and Neptune!" finished Solaris.

Sailor Uranus then held up her hand. "Now, my magic talisman! Appear before me and show thy power and protect me!" she commanded.

In her hand, her talisman then appeared, which was the same sword that everyone saw back in the battle with Eudial. A giant crimson orb came orb that rippled with energy as Sailor Uranus unleashed her new power.

"URANUS SPACE SWORD BLASTER!"

She gripped the sword with both hands and gave it a mighty downward slice launching the crimson orb of energy. The orb split, multiplying into several little ones, and all of them turned into a shower of flat, spinning blades in the shape of crescents. Viluy immediately erected a shield as she took the attack head-on. The attack instantly destroyed the two Daimons, but Viluy managed to stand her ground until her barrier began to crack and crumble. Finally, the barrier broke, and with a final scream, Viluy was swallowed by a tremendous explosion.

Sailor Moon and the others were amazed.

"Incredible," murmured Sailor Venus. "She beat them all in a single attack."

"I knew the talismans had power, but I've never seen anything like that before," said Sailor Mars.

With the battle now over, Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune turned on their heels and leaped into the air, taking their leave.

"Uranus! Neptune!" called Sailor Moon. "Come back!"

But neither of them looked back as they disappeared from view. As Sailor Moon and the others watched them leave, they didn't notice that someone had slunk past their field of vision, having to have survived, albeit just barely.

Meanwhile, in a lab away from Mugen Academy, a young woman was busy unpacking a couple of boxes down the hall outside of a classroom. She was tall, wore a white lab coat, had mocha-colored skin, and had long dark green hair partly tied up in a high bun with the rest coming to the knees. As she went about her way, a young woman came up to her.

"Hello there," the woman greeted. "Are you the new research assistant?"

The stranger shook her head. "Oh, no. I'm just a student in the science department," she replied. "But they're letting me help out with this lab, so I'm getting my station set up."

The woman was delighted. "You're from the science department?! So am I!" she spoke in delight. "We sometimes have Minerology Club in the next room, so I guess we'll be neighbors, Miss... um,"

The stranger smiled as she tucked some of her bangs behind her ear, revealing her purple-colored eyes.

"I'm a freshman physics major specializing in theoretical physics," she introduced. "My name is Setsuna Meiou. Nice to meet you."
