Adeleine is the next one who starts to approach Margaret, she is casting spells to try to stop Margaret from causing walls to be formed with the intention of stopping her mother Louise who was already losing some speed because of injuries caused after trying so hard to break those barriers with her shoulder, With that a war started in the air between Ford and the younger Du Nord who kept shooting several spells trying to take down the brunette who was even hit, but nothing happened, this while Louise was recovering, using healing spells, but as soon as the older Du Nord recovered that things were different.

The explosion continued intensely to the point of creating a beam of light that reached a height of 3km, with a diameter of 10 meters, after stopping emanating that light a crater formed in that place followed by a lot of smoke, Adeleine even landed with her broom and went to help the girls using healing spells. The five then a little less worse were standing there looking relieved at that crater, Louise and Adeleine even cried a little.

Even Adeleine goes with Louise to say goodbye to Meredith, after reading a paper where Margaret left regarding the curse of the metal balls, she decided to leave the Cavendish family mansion together with her mother Du Nord, as much as she wanted to go alone, mother Louise made sure to go together with her oldest daughter, since she was the only one who accepted her besides little Isabella and even promised that she would often visit her youngest daughter every month after she moved from France. Unfortunately Adeleine's life was not one of the best with Peter since in September 1939 another event happened very similar to what Diana, Louise and the girls witnessed during their years in Luna Nova. World War II started and Peter was called to defend France against Nazi Germany at the end of that year, but unfortunately on February 11, 1940, he was killed by a German soldier during the French campaign against the German army.
Louise was another who couldn't handle a life without Diana Cavendish III, Du Nord unfortunately on August 11, 1941 while her daughter Adeleine was at work, she intentionally took potassium cyanide and committed suicide, her last words being "I'm coming to see you my Diana...".
