Ch 128
"What did you say?" Bob asked, then found his surroundings had changed. "What the hell..." he asked vacantly as he looked around. The clinic and Dr. Grumpy were gone. Around him was the best he could describe as a refugee village. Buildings were rough-wood sided with what looked like wooden shingles on the roofs. Not far away a woman in ragged clothes was tending to a fire with a black iron pot over it suspended by a tripod. Farther down a man was working on a wooden cart. A tall stone block wall was down the dirt street that went to the large wooden gate in the wall.
"We have need of you, only you can help us and remove the terror that curses our land," the robed man explained.
Bob turned his stupefied gaze back to the robed man. "Where are we? How'd we get here?" he asked.
"I brought you here. There is too much to explain. It is best you find out things for yourself," the man said gently. He raised his staff up and hit the ground with it. Both men disappeared.
"Hey, WAIT!" Bob cried. How'd he do that? Bob wondered. "Well, screw you too!" Bob yelled at nothing.
"Trouble?" a man's voice behind him asked.
Bob turned to see a bearded man in ancient type leather armor and bore a sword on his hip. At least it was someone to complain to. "Yeah, I got left here with nothing, wherever here is! Can you tell me where I am?"
The man grinned. "You need money and a place to stay I take it."
Bob didn't even have a credit card on him. "Yeah, I do."
The man chuckled. "I'm Nathaniel. I've been looking for some help. Two silvers a day if you're willing."
"Bob," Bob replied and held out his hand.
Nathaniel grinned. "You name is Bob?"
"Well, Robert is my given name."
"Use that," Nathaniel said, grinning, and shook his hand. "Do yourself a favor, don't use Bob. Bob is when a woman uses her mouth on your shaft."
"Yeah, I'll use Robert," he agreed.
"Well, Robert, come with me. I take it you don't have any gear?"
"Just what I'm wearing."
"It'll do. A couple days of simple labor will get you enough for a hot meal and a place to stay," Nathaniel assured him. He start walking, Bob went with him.
"Where are we?" Bob asked.
Motioning to the tall stone wall, Nathaniel said, "Eric the Black's fortress. I got a job there, and could use help. By your clothes, I take it you're a landowner?"
"Got a house by the lake. Down in the clinic by the shore is where this robed guy and his accomplice kidnapped me from and brought me here. They threatened the doc's life."
"Clinic? What's that?"
"Medical clinic. The doc's name is Kimble. He's a pain in my ass, but he helps keep people healthy," Bob told him.
"Ah a healer. You do have strange manes for things, Robert," Nathaniel said.
Bob shrugged. "We live someplace much different than here. How'd you know we owned our own piece of land?"
"Your clothes are simple, but well made," Nathaniel told him. "I'm sure if you work at it, you can get your status back. Just remember, the worst jobs are the ones that pay the most. They may stink and make you want to throw up, but you get paid for it."
Bob chuckled. "Things no one else wants to do, right?"
"True."
They walked up to the closed gate in the wall. Nathaniel banged on a small door. helmeted guard opened the door.
"We're here for disposal," Nathaniel told the man.
"Just two of you?"
"More are coming."
The guard shut the door.
"So we're the garbage collectors?" Bob asked.
"You could say that. Whatever they have to throw out, we take away and burn or bury it." Nathaniel agreed.
.
Two more men arrived. Both wore rough clothing, shirts that were held together with hooks and pants held up with rope. The gate was opened and Nathaniel led his party into a courtyard. Bob saw guards in steel armor and carrying spears, again with swords on their hips. "Jackie would love this place," he said.
Nathaniel asked, "This Jackie is a guard?"
"No, but she loves fencing with swords," Bob explained. She's really good too. There isn't anyone who can beat her. Very quick, and she's strong too."
"Highly unusual, a woman swordsman," Nathaniel said in a musing tone. "She's never lost a duel?"
"Not against anyone," Bob stated. "Her favorite trick is to start out left handed, and let them get a little confidence. Then she shifts to her right hand and takes the win. Her moves are just blurs, she's so fast."
"I sure could use her skills," Nathaniel said. "Over here," he said, pointing to a cart that was loaded down with smelly stuff.
A guard came up and handed Nathaniel a sack. Nathaniel looked in, bounced the sack and thanked him.
Nathaniel and one of his men took one handle on the cart, Bob got on the other handle with the other man. The cart was fairly heavy and moved reluctantly. Bob had to pull to get it to move.
"This one's a bit easier," the man behind him said.
The gate was held open for them. They pulled the cart out and went down a side street and headed out of town. The road rose a bit as they waked into forest. The dirt road turned into a dirt path. Ahead of them, three men holding swords stepped out from behind trees.
"Let's have the silver," the biggest one stated.
Nathaniel let go of the cart and pulled his sword. "No."
The man raised their swords and advanced. "The silver or you die!" the big one snapped.
"Wow, you guys are brave, three on one?" Bob asked loudly.
"You wanna get stuck?" one of the others asked.
Bob let go of his handle, then handles sagged down as the other two men strained to hold them up. He raised his arms up. "Yeah, stick me," he replied.
The man advanced and cocked back. Bob waited until he was thrusting, then quickly stepped aside, grabbed the sword and spun to backhand his fist into the man's face. The man flew back and hit the ground limp. Bob had the sword. He shifted his grip to the handle and smiled at the other two. "Well, now it's at least fair," he said with a grin.
The two brigands eyed him. Nathaniel laughed.
"Seems you fellas picked the wrong people to rob," Nathaniel said. "You may want to run away before it's too late."
"We can take-em!" the big man stated. Bob jumped towards the other man. That man turned and ran away. The big man let our a yell and swung at Bob. Bob saw it coming and dodged down and behind the man. He swiped at the back of the man's legs and caught him behind a knee, cutting tendons. The man screamed and fell to kneel.
Nathaniel smiled. "Robert, Jackie teach you that?"
"Joan, Jackie's sister. She's another one you don't want to mess with."
"You know these women?" one of the me struggling to keep the cart handles up asked.
"Yeah. Joan's my girlfriend. Soon to be wife when we have the time to get married," Bob explained.
The last brigand tried to get up and fell. He glared at Bob.
Nathaniel asked, "So, Mr. tough guy, are you going to move to the side, or do we run you over?"
The man turned his glare to Nathaniel and crawled off the path.
Returning to the cart, Bob sheathed the sword in the rope belt of the man behind him and picked up the handle.
"You're giving it to me?" the man asked.
"Sure, why not? I don't have much use for one." When Nathaniel grabbed his handle they moved on.
"Swords are worth money!" the man behind Bob said.
"You want me to take it back?"
"No."
"Then keep it."
"Move on," Nathaniel said.
"Things like that happen much?" Bob asked.
"All the time," Nathaniel told him. He looked back and added, "Maybe not so much here any more."
"You put those bandits down quick," the man behind Nathaniel said. "You a guard, or a soldier?"
Bob shook his head. "No, I'm just boat-faced Bob."
The men behind him burst out laughing. "Stop!" one cried as he fell down laughing as he hugged his sides.
Bob stood holding the cart up as the other men laughed. Even Nathaniel was chuckling. Nathaniel quieted his mirth. "Robert, no more bob jokes. we got work to do."
"Right, sorry."
They went on a ways and came to a pit. Nathaniel pointed out the log at the edge and had them back the cart up so the wheels were against the log. They lifted the cart up to dump it into the pit. The smell got worse as refuse and something rotten tumbled out the back.
"Wheew! ripe," Bob said, crinkling his nose up. He looked down and the mess in the pit and stared. "There's a body down there!" He cried and pointed to a headless and naked female form.
Nathaniel glanced down. "Yeah, some slave didn't want to obey. Happens all the time. Gather some wood, it makes lighting that mess up easier."
Bob stared at him. "She was a slave?"
"Not any more. Go find all the dry branches and smaller stuff you can find."
"They just chopped her head off and threw her away?" Bob asked in shock.
Nathaniel shrugged. "She was just a slave. No one of import. What did you think they were going to do with her?"
"They killed her for disobeying?" Bob asked weakly.
"Robert that's what they do. It could have been anything she did. Most likely her head's on a pole to show the others what happens when they displease one of the royals," Nathaniel said firmly. "Gather wood, we have to get a fire started."
"How can you people put up with that?" Bob cried.
"Robert!" Nathaniel barked. "That is how it is. We can't change it. Learn this now, Eric the Black holds a tight rein on everyone. If you even speak against him, that could be you down there! Do your jobs, keep your mouth shut and you'll have a chance to get back what you lost. Now, gather some wood!"
Bob looked back on the body of what looked like a fairly young woman, he turned and stomped away with a grumble of, "I'm gong to kill that man!"
.
It was the saddest thing Bob had even seen. Kill a woman and toss her away like trash, then build a bonfire over her an the other garbage to burn everything up. It did make him want to puke. After the cart was raked out of leftover debris, they headed back. After they took the cart back, Nathaniel gave them their share of the silver and they headed to a tavern. That was fine, Bob really needed a drink.
The place was a two story with rooms up above on the second floor. Nathaniel paid for their meal and mugs of stuff that looked like beer, but was thicker and tasted horrible. It was alcoholic. One silver got Bob a room for a week. He got a small bar of wood with a number on it.
Sitting at the table, Bob held the stick of wood up. "I take it this is the room key?"
"And the lock," Nathaniel said. "Slip it in the hole in the frame to keep the door shut. Most places don't even give you that. This is the better tavern," he explained.
"Lucky me." Bob said. The place was lit with oil lamps and had rough hewn wood plank tables. The only good thing about it was the waitresses all wore lose low cut blouses and no bras. Their skirts also showed lots of leg.
"Robert," the man named Paul who'd been pulling the cart behind hm said as he leaned closer. "Got any more bob jokes?"
Bob cast the grinning man a weak smile. "Sorry, Paul, not in the mood for jokes right now."
"What? We did a job, we got paid good today," Paul said.
"And burned up a dead woman with the trash," Bob grumbled.
A man a couple seats down let out a snort. "So what?" he asked loudly. "There's many more here!" he said and grinned at a passing waitress.
Bob eyed him. "You should keep your mouth shut."
The man scoffed. "Says who? You? How about if you shut it so I don't take you apart!"
Bob had enough today. This guy didn't see to care women were being butchered. "You and what army?" he growled.
"The man stood up showing his height and girth. "You wanna fight, puny man?"
"Sure, why not?" Bob said and got up.
"That guy is tough," Nathaniel warned.
"Him?" Bob asked. "Looks just fat to me."
A guard came up and barked, "Take it outside!"
"Yeah, come on, puny man."
Bob gestured to the door. "Lead the way, fatso."
"Hold my place, I'll be right back." the big man said.
He walked out, Bob followed, as did a good portion of the patrons and a couple waitresses trailed out as well.
Right after the man was out the door, he turned and swung a big fist at Bob. Bob ducked it and shoved him hard, flat on his back.
"Well, is that all you got?" Bob asked in a hard tone.
The man got up, his face twisted in rage. He swung again. Bob knocked his hand away. He punched the man in the face making his head recoil back. As the man stumbled back, Bob hit him again. The man fell back flat, out.
"FUCK YOU!" Bob screamed at him, then turned around and went back inside. Everyone watched him go back in.
Disgusted with this place, Bob sat back down and took a long pull of of his nasty drink. He wondered where that man went who brought him here. He'd be the next one Bob would lay out! Bob noticed the guard came up and stood across the table from him.
"Your name, Sir?" the guard asked.
"Robert Tanner," Bob told him. "Who was the asshole I knocked out?"
"Chiles Oberlon. You didn't knock hm out. You killed him." the guard stated, which made Bob look up at him.
"It was a fair fight, no charges. The law states that in a duel, if the loser is killed then the winner gains the possessions of the loser. When you are finished, I will take you to his house."
"I killed him?" Bob asked weakly.
"You did, Robert Tanner. Don't feel too badly about it. That is how he got his belongings to begin with. He chided and goaded people into a fight, then killed them and took what they had."
"That's legal here?" Bob asked in a squeak.
"It is." the guard stated.
Bob rubbed his forehead "This place is really screwed up," he mumbled.
"Robert, can we come see your place?" Paul asked eagerly.
Bob stared at him.
"You won't need that room now either," the other man in their group, Simon said.
Bob gave him the stick.
Nathaniel sat back down and eyed Bob. "Robert, that guy was over twice your size. You put him down hard and fast. I got a feeling you're more than what you look like."
"Yeah well, from what I hear, he had it coming," Bob replied.
"No doubt, I'm just saying many mouths dropped open when you dropped him."
"Excuse me sir?" a brown haired and busty waitress asked from beside him.
"Yes, Ma'am?" Bob asked, which made her blush.
"I am only indebted for 12 more silver, or if you want, a silver a night, if you wish to have me," she said meekly.
Bob got it. "Ah, Ma'am, I'm kinda low on money right now. Maybe in a week or two?"
She beamed him a smile. "I'll be here," she said and went on her way.
"Got a feelin you just got real popular," Paul said with a grin.
"What I want is to go home," Bob grumbled.
"Good! let's go see it!" Paul beamed.
.
The house Bob 'won' was in the edge of town and had a stone wall around it. The guard from the tavern came to inform the gate guard that Robert Tanner had won the duel and killed his old boss in hand fighting. The house guard looked Bob up and down. "I don't believe it," he said.
"I watched it, it was a fair duel. Many others witnessed it as well."
The guard itched his head. "You?" he asked.
"Yeah, me," Bob replied. "Can I come in?"
The guard nodded and stepped aside. Bob trooped into the yard with Nathaniel and his men to see the stone and log house. It even had a decent roof on it.
"Robert, it looks like you're a landowner again," Nathaniel said.
"Yeah, but I know my girlfriends aren't happy. I want to be home with them."
"Good looking girls I take it?" Paul asked.
"More than that," Bob told him. "Joan's the one who did much to get my shit together. She helped me a lot and was there when I needed her. I owe everything to Joan. When she and Allison finds me missing, they are going to go ballistic. You don't want to be around when they go ballistic."
"Your women seem to be very tough," Nathaniel noted.
Bob nodded. "They are. Joan's mother was called the Iron Maiden in college. Joan grew up just like her. Tougher than nails and unstoppable. I really miss them." Bob winked at Nathaniel and said, "And they have the same energy at night as they do out on the field."
Nathaniel laughed. "Lively are they?"
"Very. I call Joan the Energizer Bunny, she just keeps going and going."
"Damn!" Simon said.
A busty red head with bright green eyes opened the real wood door into the house, wearing only a short shirt (no bra so she had pokies) that hung in a curtain above her flat belly and a short skirt. Yup, she was barefoot.
"May I help you?" she asked.
Nathaniel motioned to Bob. "Robert here is your new master."
"He is," the guard agreed.
She eyed Bob then said, "Please, master, come in. I take it you purchased us?"
"He killed your old master in a fair duel."
"Him?" the red head asked, eyeing Bob.
"Didn't mean to," Bob offered. "I hit him harder than I meant to."
The red head asked the guard. "This isn't a trick, is it?"
"No, the tavern guard saw it, as did many others."
"Robert is your new master," Nathaniel stated.
The red head bowed to him, showing her shirt was loose and giving him a good look at her large chest puppies. "Master, may I show you and your friends your home?"
"Any more like you here?" Paul asked with a wide grin.
To Bob she said, "You have four female slaves, a cook, and five guards. Follow me, please."
Simon reached over and fondled a breast. "Wow She's..."
Bob grabbed his arm and yanked it down. "Don't be crude!" he snapped.
Simon stared at him. "I was only grabbing a feel of her," he said as he rubbed his arm.
"Not here you don't," Bob stated.
"Hands off the girls?" Nathaniel asked.
"Yes, hands off the girls." Bob replied.
The red head showed them the lounge with the large fireplace and the stuffed seats, then the dinning room that had a candle it wrought iron chandelier, then the bedroom that also had a large bed and a fireplace with a sitting area.
A dark haired girl peeked in and quickly ducked away when Bob noticed her. "Who was that?"
"Another slave girl," The red head said.
A third one appeared in the doorway, a slim blonde. "Master, shall I get you something?" she asked meekly.
"If you have something good to drink, that would be great." Bob told her.
"Is Raspberry mead to your liking?"
Bob never had it before so he said, "Yes, that will be fine."
The girl paused. "Shall I bring it to you, or would you like it in the lounge?"
"In the lounge, please," Bob said.
"Yes, master." she hurried away.
"Robert, you need to be specific with the slave girls," Nathaniel told him.
Bob frowned at him. "I suppose so. Guys, I want to see the kitchen, so if you want go relax in the lounge, I'll be there shortly."
"Sounds good, come on guys," Nathaniel said.
"The kitchen?" the red head asked, eyeing him. "Masters don't go in the kitchen."
Bob cast her a smile and said, "There's a few things we need to work out. Gather all the girls in the kitchen, then come get me. By the way, what's your name?"
"Whatever you want to call me," she replied.
"No, you were born with a name. What was it?"
"Malinara," she said meekly.
"Then Malinara, come get me when all the girls are in the kitchen. I'll be in the lounge."
"If we've done something, we're sorry. We don't know what to expect yet."
"I'll explain when we meet in the kitchen, OK?"
"Yes, Master," she said, eyeing him. She bowed deeply again and left.
.
The mead was different, but much better than the stuff the tavern had. Nathaniel was eager to go grab a 'wench' before they were all taken, so was Paul and Simon. Bob was coming on the job with them tomorrow, which Nathaniel thought was amusing, but accepted his help.
Malinara came back to let Bob know they were in the kitchen waiting for him. He followed her in to a large but not well organized kitchen that had a ancient looking cooking hearth and things stacked everywhere. Malinara stood beside the thin blonde and another red head. Looking like she was trying to hide behind them was the dark brown haired girl.
Seeing this, Bob said, "First of all, I learned Malinara's name, who are the rest of you?"
The blonde whispered to Maliara. Malinara nodded. "Yes, the names we were born with."
"Dina," the blonde said meekly.
"Jopyrn," the other red head said.
Bob offered, "I don't know if I can pronounce that right, can I call you Jo?"
"Yes, Master."
"Hanna," the dark haired girl said from behind Jo.
"Ah, Hanna? come out here where I can see you." Bob said. Seeing she cast him a scared look, he added, "I'm not going to hurt you."
Jo moved over a bit. Malinara said, "I don't think this Master's going to hurt you."
Hanna moved to face him, the others moved aside so he could see her. The first thing he saw was there was a big bruise on her face. Another on her arm. Her breasts hung low and thin. "Hanna, how bad are you hurt?" he asked.
"I'm all right, Master," she said weakly.
"No, Master, she's not," Malinara stated. "Our former master liked to abuse her."
"That stops now. Understand, Hanna? No one else will abuse you. Can you do your chores all right?" Bob asked.
"She has a hard time," Jo offered.
"Then Hanna, go rest until you feel better. If we have any medicine she needs, give it to her. Dina, check on her now and then. If she needs something, let me know."
"Yes, Master."
Bob then told them, "I got you together first to know your names. Also, I've seen the lack of respect people have here for you. That stops now as well. Calling me master when other are around is fine. When we're here by ourselves, my name is Robert. Eventually, I'd like to find out where each of you are from, and how you got here. Any questions you have for me?"
"Why are you so strange?" Malinara asked.
Bob chuckled at the way she asked it. "I'm not from around here. Where I'm from, women are appreciated, not abused. What I am hoping to do is by the time I leave, I can get get you back home, or wherever you want to go."
They all stared at him.
"You don't want to keep any of us?" Jo asked.
"You're not truly mine," Bob said "Besides, I don't think you can come with me when I leave."
"Wonderful!" Dina spat "We finally get a decent master, and he doesn't want us!"
"I have my own girlfriends," Bob told her. "And I don't think they would appreciate me dragging you home with me."
"May I go lie down now?" Hanna asked meekly.
"Yes, go. Let Dina know if you need something."
Hanna limped out.
"Would you like some dinner, Master?" Malinara asked.
"Already ate, but thanks anyway. I think I'll just head for bed. If any of you are hungry, go ahead. Night, girls."
"Master, you need a bath," Jo said quickly.
Bob sniffed his armpit. "Yeah, maybe I do. Can you show me where it is?"
Malinara said, "Dina, make sure Hanna's comfortable, Come, master, I'll show you."
Robert," he reminded her.
"I will too!" Jo added. She darted out of the room.
.
Hanna made it back to her room and settled down in her cot. Dina sat beside her.
"Looks like we have a good one, for while anyway," Dina offered.
Hanna responded with a brief smile. "Who knows who the next one will be? He said he is eventually going to leave. If he does, think he'll take my head before he goes?"
"I know the feeling," Dina agreed. "Hey, maybe he'll give us to someone else who cares even a shred about us."
"Instant death doesn't hurt, right? I don't want to be beaten up or hung by my breasts again," Hana said. "Think a dive to the ground from the upper floor would do it?"
"Stop talking like that!" Dina chided. "Look, we've got a decent one now, so lets work to keep him!"
"How do you know?" Hanna asked. "Yes, he talks nice, but how will he act when it comes to play time?"
"I think the red heads plan to find out tonight."
.
Jo had the bath water started, and the hot water heating when Malinara came up into the bath with Bob. Bob noted the large pot over the hearth and the tub partway filled with water. He also saw Jo was naked. She had a nice body, curvy but not fat. Surprised she had nothing on, he went to leave and saw Malinara strip down also. She had major hooters as well as a slim waist, nice hips and long legs.
"Umm, if you girls want to go first, that's fine," he offered and moved to leave.
Maliara hooked his arm. "No! This is your bath, Master."
"Robert." he reminded her.
"Robert. Give me your clothes, I'll wash them while you wait, then Jo and I will wash you."
"I can wash myself," he said.
"No," she said with a frown. "You said you appreciate women right? so let us do something you can appreciate!"
"Just you two being here naked I can appreciate." he said automatically.
"Good! Get your clothes off and give them to me, then sit down and appreciate watching us work," she told him.
Bob had no come back for one chair looked broken, the back was tipped back. Malinara helped him undress, then sat him down to lean back ad put a small blanket over him so he wouldn't get cold. She went over and got to work washing his clothes, leaving him in place.
Bob sat and watched Jo pour the pot of hot water in the tub as Malinara washed his clothes vigorously, facing him. OK all that chest wiggle was a real nice sight to see. Malinara got his clothes washed and hung up about the same time Jo said the bath was ready. Jo came over and offered him her hand.
"Master, the bath is ready."
Bob thought he was going to get in by himself. He got in, Malinara got in on one side of him, Jo on the other. Jo handed Malinara a washcloth.
"Ahh, I can wash myself," Bob said again.
"No, that's our job. Malinara stated. They lifted his arms up and began washing him.
"This is so not right." Bob said with a wince.
"This is right," Jo stated. She then moved up and sat on him.
"Ahhh", he got out.
"Listen master!" Jo said firmly. "You said you were from a different place. Here, we take care of you. We belong to you." she then moved back and forth a bit over his stiff member. "Any time you want us, we're yours."
"Hey, I wanted to be first!" Malinara complained.
Jo stuck her tongue out at her, the continued to lecture him. "We are yours, Master, for anything and everything." she lifted up a bit, raised his shaft up to touch her vagina, then settled back down, making him gasp out as she took him inside her. She then kept on. "We need you, not someone who likes to beat and do worse to us. We will do whatever you want, any time you want. But we do need you."
Bob have never gotten lectured while he was up inside a woman before, and the situation was beginning to drive him crazy. "I don't belong here," he got out.
"You do!" Jo said firmly. "Right here, up inside me, or any one of us."
"I mean in this world," Bob explained as he grew harder inside her hot folds. He did his best not to start humping, and it was maddening. He had all he could do not to grab her hips and start pounding up into her.
"Then take us with you when you go," Jo said firmly. We will never disappoint."
Malinara took the arm she held and guided his hand to her breast. "We are asking ... make that begging for you to keep us," she said softly.
"We are," Jo said and leaned close to hug him. "Take me, let me show you we care about you too." She began moving up and down on him.
Bob lost it, He grabbed her hip with his free hand as he kneaded Malinara's big soft boob. Jo leaned back a bit and planted his face into her breast. He nursed on her. The sigh she let out as she held his head in place and humped him hard, became too much. He blew his load in her.
They kissed. First he kissed Jo, then Malinara.
"We're yours," They chorused.
Panting, Bob held them and thought about Joan and Allison at home. "What am I gonna do?" he mumbled.
