Dark Void
Chapter 132th
Loreile had to wait for the nurse to leave to again disappoint her husband with going back home to the boys. Even though she didn't believe a word he was saying to her.
"Where are you going Loreile?' he cried out.
"Operation I don't believe you, Leroy Jethro Gibbs." she used the code word that she was going to put into the plan to leave for real with the threat very real. "I can't take the chance Jethro with believing every word you're been saying to me in the first place," she exclaimed with seeing his scared expression on his face.
"You do realize how bad it's going to be for the boys with us divorcing after four years of marriage?" his heart was breaking having felt that way a number of times over the years.
"Four years too long." making sure whoever was listening knew the situation at this point. "And I am truly sorry Jethro for having to be doing this. I will be sure to have my lawyer contact you with the provisions, alimony, and most of all child support. Good luck with your health and getting back to work with your team."
"I don't care right now. I want my wife and family back whole!" he cried out with his emotional response.
"I can't do it anymore Jethro. It hurts too much every time I turn around you're getting hurt in the end run." she will respond with the truth of the matter. "I am truly sorry for doing this to you. But I need to get away from you as far as possible, and this includes the boys. It's not a good thing to be around the negative life force every time you get involved with a case involving the Cartel or any other of the enemies from over the years."

Loreile had talked with the D.O.D. agent Madeline asking the agency to go along with the plan. She wasn't too keen on the idea to have her and others to be protecting the boys at the Evergreen safe house, while Lt. Loreile Ann Baskins Gibbs with the divorce in the process will be staying at the Tombstone Arizona safe house in the middle of the desert.
This had been going on for the past month while Special Agent Gibbs recovered. He had his sessions with Doctor Confalone in order to get back to work full time. He wasn't too pleased to find all of his wife's things as with the boys leaving not having a clue as to where they had gone. Even Loreile's sister Elizabeth didn't know for which she needed to be protected in case anyone came around asking for Intel on her sister's location.
Special Agent Gibbs had been working hard with four different case investigations. Knowing that Vance did it to keep his mind off his own family troubles. He was down in the lab with Kasie and Palmer with a murder of a local Quantico Marine officer found down by the harbor when fishermen found the body in the water.
He walked into autopsy as Doctor Palmer was discussing what he had found on the body to Kasie as part of her niche of late. "Palmer what do you have on Sergeant Anthony Babcock's murder?" he said with a tone with no emotion.
"Excuse me Jimmy I will be heading back to the lab. Special Agent Gibbs good luck with finding the killer?" she says with not getting into asking any questions about his personal life.
"Long-range sniper had gotten to him Gibbs from maybe 2000 feet or more. He died instantly with the first shot into the back of his head. Besides having alcohol two times the amount in his system before he was shot."
"Now this doesn't make sense unless he knew that it was coming like with his friends walking out of the bar?"
"It would to a certain point Gibbs with the bar's name located in his uniform pocket." He hands him the small evidence bag with the name listed on the business card.
Gibbs takes the white gloves from the box that was sitting on the table and took a look at the name of Kelly's bar. "It seems to me that lately a great deal of action had been going on at the bar?" Gibbs needed to say.
"Anything else Palmer?" Gibbs needed to say to his medical examiner. "By the way have you heard from Ducky?"
With the shake of his head. "Not a word Special Agent Gibbs." He went back to his work to have Gibbs head up to the bullpen to try and see if they can set up an undercover operation at Kelly's bar for a few days. But first, he needed to talk with Vance about it.

"No Gibbs I can't sanction it right now with the start of the new budget of the year. I suggest you send in your team nightly to see if anyone shows up that is on your radar as a sniper? Gibbs mostly yourself from your history as a long-range sniper for the Marines." Vance said with ending the conversation having it brief that Gibbs didn't like since Vance wasn't liking what he had to say on the subject.
This was only feeding the fire that something was up with Director Leon Vance and that file looming even bigger now.
He went to leave his office to talk with his team waiting downstairs in the bullpen.
Only one of the team members Nicholas Torres had something to say on the subject with his wife Bishop nudging him to stay quiet.
"I will take the first night everyone?" Gibbs needed to say to his team. "However I need all of you to check with all of your sources in the streets. I am going home to get ready for tonight. If anything comes up I will leave my cell phone on McGee?"
"Yes, boss." they had watched him pull out his revolver, badge, and I. head for the elevator.
"McGee something doesn't smell right with Gibbs?" Eleanor needed to say on the subject of one Leroy Jethro Gibbs.
"I will agree," Tim commented with going back to work at his computer terminal.
