Dark Void
Chapter 133th
Leroy Jethro Gibbs had been dressing in the bedroom making sure he was going to look smart and proper with walking into Kelly's bar. Even though he's been there before with his friends and prior to Jack Sloane leaving for overseas.
Looking around the bedroom. All of a sudden he felt saddened remembering Shannon and now Loreile leaving. Even though both ladies were alive and well now with Shannon in California with her present husband, and Loreile staying at the safe house.
Splashing on his aqua velvet cologne having to be old fashion. He brushed his silver hair into place. Even though he was going to be needing a haircut.
Afterward now ready. He headed downstairs to the living room checking for his wallet, money, credit cards, and coins. Along with his NCIS I.D. and badge, his revolver was sitting inside his jacket. While wearing his ankle holder with a smaller version weapon. Most of all his knife never going without one.
Closing the front door leaving the light on in the living room as per his own instructions. Reaching for his truck, there was a note left on his window shield telling him that he was going to be killed if he shows up at Kelly's bar.
Someone was telling him something to back off on the case no doubt in regard to the murder of Sergeant Anthony Babcock. Gibbs pulled out his cell phone to call Vance to let him know about the note on the window shield.
Director Leon Vance was dressing to go out himself with his future wife Melissa. Since she was off this evening from the Pentagon for a change. They were heading to watch a new Tom Hanks movie in the theatre since the sanctions had been lifted with the Coronavirus. Just when he was heading downstairs with Melissa waiting to leave.
He had no choice but to answer the call from Gibbs. "What's going on Gibbs?" he says in a serious tone of annoyance.
"A death note on my window shield telling me not to show up at Kelly's Bar. I have placed it into a small evidence bag for Kasie to check for any prints on the note. I will be at Kelly's bar trying to figure out who wants me dead?" he chilled with his response.
"It's obvious Special Agent Gibbs that it might be the Cartel. Though it's hot with the trial for when it comes to murdering the Sergeant?" he responded with walking down the stairs.
"I will drop off the evidence bag at the Naval Yards before heading for the bar. I will be leaving now Leon. Please call Kasie and inform her of the situation?" he said strongly with the order.
"Fine. I will call her now. Be careful Gibbs when you get to Kelly's bar?" he hung up the phone to make one more call before leaving for the movies.

Kelly's bar TIME SEVEN P.M.
Special Agent Gibbs walked into the back bar of the very busy bar. He was able to find a seat at the counter with two bartenders working, along with four waitresses and a waiter walking around. The jukebox was being played as he scanned the area for anyone suspicious.
"Gibbs what would you like to have this having?" Hank said knowing the agent from NCIS retired during the past four years with a bad leg from a shooting incident with a suspect.
"Hank I need to ask you whether you've seen any suspicious characters this evening?" he lowered his voice.
"Nope! Just the usual crowd Jethro. Why do you ask that question to an ex-police officer?" he said with a tone of sadness and his demeanor.
"No real reason Hank." Gibbs needed to say with asking for a Bourbon along with chicken wings and fries. However, there was a woman used as a decoy of sorts who came over to the bar next to Gibbs that he had noticed and redhead.
"What you like to have Ma'am?" Hank said with a smile. She was lovely as well.
"I just flew in from overseas since it's been a while since I have into the states due to my work with the government," she announced. " I used to live here a long time ago." she will say further. "I will have two whiskey's please."
Gibbs turned to say to her. "There is always a movie house with the restrictions having been lifted?" he smirks.
He was feeling lonely. All of a sudden he needed to use the men's room asking Hank to place another drink for himself and the lady.
"Sure enough." Once Gibbs had gotten off his seat and with Hank turning his head away. She had pulled out a small vile filled with a drug in order for it to take effect within the next hour.
Moments later sitting back on the seat. The woman Andrea thanked him in his ear asking if he was interested in leaving for an evening of fun at her apartment.
"I like that Andrea." he finished up his drink by settling up with the bartender. However, Gibbs had tapped a section of his arm to activate the voice recorder for anyone to listen to back at communications for NCIS.
And then he did the same with the lower part of his arm. Walking outside he told Andrea that he will follow her to the apartment not too far from KELLY'S bar.
"I will meet you, Gibbs?" she says in a deep sultry voice.
She had gotten into her black Chevy with her cell phone sitting on her seat of the car. She had sent off a signal to those involved with needing to get a hold of Special Agent Gibbs. She had moved off with Gibbs in his truck behind her.
Gibbs continued to talk into the recorder when they had arrived at her apartment complex at 50 centers west street.
