Chapter 133: Avatar Arc: Memoirs
Sometime later...
"This brings back memories." Natsu beamed, peering at the rebuilt town of Magnolia.
"Look." Happy pointed. "Kardia Cathedral got fixed."
"It was a totally wreck just a year ago, too." Wendy noted.
"This is one strong city, all right." Carla agreed.
"What's wrong, Lucy?" Happy asked, the Celestial Mage had stopped in her tracks.
"The Guild Hall is just up ahead." Natsu pointed out.
"I'm scared to go any further." Lucy admitted.
"Is it cause the old building is gone?" Natsu asked. "The building doesn't matter. This is where it all starts."
"It's how everyone feels that worries me." Lucy confessed. "You suddenly show up and talked about reviving Fairy Tail. So I let myself get excited. I sent letters to everyone or at least everyone I can find. Right of the the blue, after a year of silence. I asked them to gather in Magnolia to rebuild Fairy Tail. But when I think about it, they'll all following their own paths now. I have no idea if we all feel the same way anymore. Maybe they've even forgotten about the Guild. I just..."
"As if we'd forget after just one year." Cana rebuked, throwing ham arm around Lucy. "I gotta say, this past one year's been an eye-opener for me. I figured I might as well go find Gildarts so I went on a little trip. It was lucky I managed to get your letter." she flashed the envelope. "I bet it's the same for everyone. In my case, I'd been in the Guild since I was little. So this sudden disbanding thing doesn't make much sense to me and I don't even know how I'd make a living afterward. It was good for life experience, basically. The whole situation felt weird for all of us, so none of us had the courage to reach out. But you broke the wall for us, Lucy. So come on." she pulled Lucy off. "Everyone's waiting."
"Long time no see." Warren beamed, the rest of the Fairy Tail mages were already gathered where the Guild Hall once stood. "Your hair got longer, Lucy."
"Natsu and the others are back." Jet and Dory chorused.
"We got your letter, Lucy." Max brought out his letter.
"Heard you caused a real stir in the capital." Macao remarked.
"Took you long enough." Erza chided.
"It's definitely nice to be back in Magnolia." Levy breathed.
"I created the portable communication lacrimas." Warren smiled.
"Nab says he always reads Sorcerer Weekly." Juvia supplied.
"Team Shadow Gear is back together." Jet and Dory declared.
"I had to leave the Council, though." Levy chuckled.
"You worked for the Council?" Macao, Wakaba and Romeo exclaimed.
"You three are under arrest for being chumps." Gajeel teased.
"You're as manly as ever, Lucy." Elfman remarked. "This is a manly reunion."
"Found it." Natsu grinned, digging out the Fairy Tail flag. "Our Guild is back in action!" he declared, with the flag held high.
