135. Pomona Sprout
Each Hogwarts house had characteristics that weren't bandied about. For Hufflepuff, it was being a haven for those with difficult childhoods. Slytherin tended to get those who overcame their abuse. Pomona Sprout took those broken by it into the safety of her Sett.
For those that had lost faith in adults, Pomona was there to dispel their distrust. For every tear shed, Sprout had a shoulder. It was the worst-kept secret in the house, but unknown to the castle at large. The Hufflepuff common room doubled as a group therapy session, and Sprout was the den mother dispensing much-needed love.
