A.N. — And now it's another quidditch drabble; well, at least the sport's best-known player. His Cup Final appearance is a crowded time in the calendar, so I am honoring his actor's birthday here.

136. Viktor Krum

Viktor Krum was inundated with fan mail. Why had he thought escaping to Hogwarts with Durmstrang's delegation would change that?

After that summer's World Cup performance, the volume of letters had only increased. Krum cared little about the contents of the missives, lest they contain harmful substances. But he did view them as a chance to improve his English reading comprehension. In that way, the annoying correspondence actually benefited Krum. Around Hogwarts, he was able to converse fairly fluently with its students. Krum could give interviews to the local press without needing a translator now; that, he could live without.
