Chapter 135: Alvarez Empire Arc: Finding Laxus
With Erza's group en route to Caracole Island, the reunited Team B from the Grand Magic Games the previous year were trekking the mountains in search of Laxus and the Thunder God Legion.
"Are you sure Laxus is all the way out here?" Elfman was skeptical.
"According to my intel, his toadies should be with him, too." Gajeel replied.
"The Thunder God Legion?" Elfman blinked.
"Oh please, you came with us just to find Evergreen." Cana teased.
"Still, was it really necessary for us to split into teams like this?" Mirajane wondered.
"They're on an infiltration mission, right?" Pantherlily reminded. "Then, Ulyo made the correct choice. We wouldn't stand a chance against them in a fight, after all. Our chance of victory would be 0%."
"And I doubt an infiltration mission would fare much better." Gajeel added.
"The odds of either option working are close to nil." Levy caught up with the group. "That's why we're operating as separate teams; to raise those odds even a little, right? That was mean of you to leave without me." she pouted.
"You're so tiny I just assumed you were in my bag." Gajeel teased. "My bad for forgetting you."
"You dummy!" Levy whined, hitting the Iron Dragon Slayer comically. "But really, guys." she turned serious. "Our enemy this time is extremely dangerous. Don't even think of fighting them, no matter what."
A while later, in the onsen attached to the Blue Pegasus Guildhall, on the women's side...
"Nothing like a dip in the onsen after a long trip." Cana moaned in happiness sinking in the hot water.
"Come on, Juvia." Ulyo called out to the other water mage.
"I'm too embarrassed." Juvia peered from behind the cloth over the door.
"What for?" Lisanna chuckled. "We'll all girls here."
"Looks like you leave me with no choice, Juvia." Ulyo sighed. "Water Lock." she encased the water mage in a water bubble and with a jerk of her index finger, she moved Juvia into the middle of the onsen.
"I'm surprised you knew about this secret little onsen, Gajeel." Cana shouted.
On the men's side of the onsen...
"Don't assume I'm like old Salamander." Gajeel smirked.
"Believe it not, Gajeel loves onsens." Pantherlily supplied.
"Men." Ichiya posed.
"This is not a pretty picture at all." Elfman sighed. "And why are you here, Ichiya?"
"Were you not aware?" the Perfume Mages changed his pose. "Blue Pegasus owns this 'Celestial Horse Abode' onsen."
On the women's side of the onsen...
"Your Guildhall is nearby, then?" Lisanna inquired from the women's side of the onsen.
On the men's side of the onsen...
"That's correct." Ichiya confirmed.
On the women's side of the onsen...
"I wonder how Jenny's doing." Mirajane stretched.
On the men's side of the onsen...
"Her parfum is as lovely as always." Ichiya assured. "She and Evergreen get along quite well. Freed and Bickslow are popular, too. They're on their way to becoming Blue Pegasus' aces."
On the women's side of the onsen...
"What are you talking about?" Mirajane blinked, confused.
On the men's side of the onsen...
"Damnit, I was planning to surprise them about it!" Gajeel snapped.
On the women's side of the onsen...
"Are you saying that the Thunder God Legion joined Blue Pegasus?" Cana exclaimed.
"Even Laxus, too?" even Juvia was surprised.
On the men's side of the onsen...
"Laxus is rarely ever around." Ichiya admitted. "Apparently, he's out training somewhere."
"Shut your yap!" Gajeel roared. "You're ruining my big surprise."
"I never knew Gajeel was an event planner at heart." even Pantherlily was stunned.
"My apologies!" Ichiya shouted, jumping out of the water.
"Man!" Elfman screamed in horror, fully exposed to Ichiya's... lower anatomy. "That's not funny, dammit!" he leveled a punch across Ichiya's face.
"Man!" Ichiya squealed, his bare butt landed squarely on Gajeel's face.
"Asterisk!" Gajeel was propelled to the women's side of the onsen.
On the women's side of the onsen...
"Hey!" Cana protested as the flying Gajeel broke the bamboo wall that split the two sides.
"What is this flat, barely bouncing feeling?" Gajeel landed in-between levy's breasts.
"Gajeel, you jerk!" Levy fumed.
On the men's side of the onsen...
"That old cliché." Pantherlily sighed, already used to the couple's antics.
"The parfum of adolescence." Ichiya noted.
"Damn it!" Elfman rammed his head repeatedly against the wall. "I can't unsee his manhood!"
