Chapter 139: April Fools

Yeah, this is all actually a very cruel April fools joke. Black Dawn is not going to be continuing. Ever. I still get people asking to this day whether I am going to do more, but the answer is still a no. It has been three years since the last update, and I started this whole project back in 2014 when I was still an edgy high schooler. It has been 7 years and take my word when I say looking back at your high school fanfiction monstrosity is a lethal dose of cringe.

The plot of BD is an absolute mess that I completely winged and could never stick to an idea. Also, I opened waaaay too many plots that I do not want to try and spend another 3 years trying to close properly. I've also neglected a lot of plot lines or abandoned them straight up. Also, there is the fact that I barely remember a lot of what is going on. I also lost the final chapter of book 2 like 3-4 times and what truly made me crack was losing the will tow rite it again when my motivation was already dwindling.

Overall, I had a blast writing this story, but over time I fell out of love with it. It holds a special spot in my heart, but yeah, it is going to join the forever expanding collection of incomplete stories on FFN, which I think is one of the most obvious plot twists, wouldn't you agree? On that note! Keep an eye out for potential new stories. I got an itch recently to get back into writing, so maybe in a couple of months I'll be ready to release something new and fresh, hopefully a lot less driven by the mind of an edgy high schooler.

To conclude this chapter/book, I want to thank everyone who has taken the time to read Black Dawn, and an even bigger thank you to those who reviewed the story and shared your thoughts. It really made it worth writing sometimes. Also, thanks to my Beta Reader who I have not talked to in years, you helped a lot with my grammar issues.

Till I maybe decide to write something again later. Farewell friends.
