A.N. — Just because I am splitting the Peverell brothers up, does not mean this drabble is unconnected to the last one. After a couple big names, this is now two out of three drabbles with their subjects not being in the site's character tags.
140. Beedle the Bard
Beedle the Bard was a man ahead of his time in his views. He disdained Dark magic and excess in any form, and was sympathetic toward the non-magicals. He spun his worldview into his tales deftly, so that they read not as bias, but as a part of the historical record. Beedle wrote with an eye on the future, making his works timeless in their enjoyment.
Truly, the only thing backwards about Beedle were the ancient runes he wrote in.
Britons used more Latin and Middle English nowadays. Beedle's Tales were sought out anyway, despite the difficulty in deciphering it.
