A.N. — I did Crabbe. Sr. far earlier, and now it's time for his counterpart. The son is tagged, because his father isn't included there. I've yet to decide whether their children will get back-to-back drabbles later on. Turns out, I have a handful of Dark-inclined characters planned to wrap up May.
143. Goyle Sr.
Goyle had no Death Eater secrets to spill the aurors hadn't already discovered. His ability to be turned against the Dark wasn't worth pursuing; Goyle had nothing to offer them. He was a flunky, following whoever shouted loudest and let him indulge in base violence. He was near worthless with a wand, but better with fists.
So, he was summarily released.
Goyle smiled, staring at the closing door. He'd played to the interrogator's expectations, and they'd bought it. He'd kept his skills (and family) secret, and it earned his freedom. Now, he could be there to watch his son's birth.
