Chapter 151: Alvarez Empire Arc: Fairy Tail ZERØ

"First, the sky starting glowing and now the landscape changed?" Gray tsked, watching Ulyo heal Erza within her water bubble and spraying the steady stream of healing mist on the gravely injured swordswoman. "Or wait, did we move somehow?"

"Ulyo-sama, Gray-sama." Juvia returned from her scouting. "No luck. I can't find Wendy or Carla anywhere."

"I'll go look for them next." Gray offered. "You look after these two."

On Tenrou Island...

"Where am I?" Gajeel coughed to catch his breath. "If I remember right, I should be dead. Who are you?" he demanded, seeing a shimmering form in front of him. "Do you live here in Hell?"

"I'm Zera.." Zera manifested. "One of the very first fairies. I can't do this!" she panicked after a moment of silence. "I'm too nervous. I'm not good with people."

"So, which is this place?" Gajeel asked. "Heaven or Hell?"

"Neither." Zera replied from behind a tree. "You've alive. By sheer luck, someone activated a spell that warps the world and shuffles people around. I'm guessing you got transported here just before being sucked in the world of the dead."

"Seriously?" Gajeel gawked. "Where are we?"

"Tenrou Island." Zera answered. "But it's connected to the mainland now. It's Fairy Tail's sacred ground."

"And you're..." Gajeel inquired.

"I told you, I'm Zera." Zera retorted.

"Never heard of you." Gajeel admitted.

"Mavis, you never told the Guild members about me, did you?" Zera muttered. "By yet another coincidence," she collected herself. "Mavis just awoke up from her long sleep. As a side effect, I got created. I guess 'restored' is the better word. In other words, Mavis' magic power and consciousness were instantly reset. That automatically regenerated me, too, but only temporarily."

"I don't really understand it, but basically you appeared because Shodai woke up?" Gajeel summarized.

"In simpler terms, yes." Zera nodded. "But this is only temporary. The moment Mavis remembers me, I'll probably disappear. Wait a minute," she remembered. "You can actually see and hear me, right?"

"Yeah." Gajeel nodded.

"Mavis, your magic power's gotten stronger." Zera squealed. "Naturally, I'm on your side." she assured. "Now, let's go protect Fairy Tail."

In front of the shifted Mercurius...

Natsu, Lucy and Happy met up with Gray, Ulyo, Juvia and the still unconscious Erza.

"We were on our way back to the Guild." Juvia explained.

"But we don't know which way to go now." Gray complained.

"Natsu, what's that?" Happy pointed to the sky, Irene had used her 'Eye Magic' to espy on the castle's surroundings.

"It's huge." Gray gawked.

On Tenrou Island...

"The Guild is of here..." Zera had used 'Telepathy' to transmit her message to the Fairy Tail members. "Go to the Guild and assemble. The enemy separated you but now you must come together as one. Mavis is in trouble. She's like a mother to all of you. Head to the Guild this instant. Protect Mavis."

"That came off way too bossy." Gajeel complained. "Can't you know... sound a little sweeter or something? Are you sure you're Shodai's friend?"

In front of the shifted Mercurius...

"Back to the Guild!" Natsu led the way. "Shodai is waiting."
