Rani was feeling more confident than ever now that her own sweet boyfriend coerced her into believing in herself and not be so hard on herself. Her doubt and fear went away, and she felt more proud than ever before thanks to what Kion had talked to her about. "Rani?" called a male voice. "It was Jinjin, who was with Maya, looking for their only daughter. "Where are you?"

"We didn't mean to upset you, dear." Maya called out. "We didn't know you were thinking so hard on yourself. We understand if you do not want to become queen of the pride yet."

"Yes! Just please come out so we can both see you." Jinjin begged. Looking at his mate, looking quite guilty, Maya did the same. They both did not mean to indulge so much pressure on their daughter like that. No. "Do you think she'll come out?" he asked his wife

"She has to, dear." Maya added. "She cannot hide in the shadows forever."

"True."

"Mom? Dad?" said a female voice. From the right, there was their only daughter, who was walking along with Kion to promptly come back to her own family. "I'm sorry I worried you." Now she was looking a little guilty about running off like that. "I was just... scared, and I didn't know what came over-" Jinjin gently placed his right paw over her shoulder.

"There is no need for you to apologize, dear daughter. If anyone is to blame, it would be me and your mother. But, listen, we never meant to put so much pressure on you. we didn't know it was... a lot happening for you."

"And we are really sorry for worrying you." Maya added. "We are really glad you are alright, Rani."

The rulers of the Night pride looked at Kion, looking very grateful as always. "Thank you for finding our precious girl. We honestly do not know what we would be without you to help us."

"You're welcome, your majesties. But, I think Rani would be a great queen." he looked at his girlfriend, flustering and looking quite flattered at those compliments she was given before. "Right Rani? You will be the greatest queen for the Night pride."

Jinjin smiled and remarked: "I absolutely concur with you, Kion. Our girl will be the greatest queen that will make us proud, even in the next life." Rani and her parents nuzzled each other and the other Night Pride members looked on, cheering to see that the princess has been safe from harm. Deep down, Rani realized that Kion is right about her being a great queen of her own family. Young Kion himself felt like he did another great thing, try to relieve the stress in his own girlfriend about becoming the Night Pride's queen one day.

"So, would you two like to hang around here for a little while longer?" Maya asked

"Sure. All that pressure made me a little emotionally exhausted." Rani replied.

"Wonderful!" said Jinjin. "We have saved ourselves a baby giraffe carcass, still fresh and still juicy if you want any."

"That sounds good." Kion said

"Yeah! I wanna eat some of that." said Rani

The parents and other Night Pride members pulled out the zebra child carcass with their teeth. Despite the flies over it as if it was a bug zapper, the meat was still fresh and juicy, like this was a fresh killed that they caught an hour or two ago. Kion and Rani had their first bites, and it was juicier than they had anticipated. "Hmm, I wish my mouth was as big as hippo." Kion said. "This is so good!"

"Same." Rani remarked before taking another big bite.

"Kion!" said a male cub's voice in the distance, and the cub didn't recognize them at first. It was Simba and Nala, who had weirdly been tuned into cubs again by some magic lake with mystical and magical waterfall that appears to turn any adult creature back into a child. "Kion? Is that you?" said Simba

"Yeah..." Kion looked a little confused and so did Rani and her family. "Who are you?"

"You might not believe this, son." Simba said. "But it's me, your dad and mom."

Kion looked surprised and he didn't believe it at first. "Wait, how do I know this isn't a prank to-"

"Just look at us in the eyes, Kion." Nala urged. "Look at our faces to recognize us and tell us if it is your parents." A little reluctant, Kion did just that, and he compared his father's face to this cub, and it was shaped exactly as Simba in adult form. The same was said when he looked at Nala to see the resemblance. "Do you see us now?" Nala asked

"Wha- what happened to you guys? You're cubs again."

"We can explain," said Simba. "Me and Nala were out for a walk, and we accidentally stumbled on an underground cavern with this... magic water, and after drinking some of it, we turned into cubs! Pretty crazy!"

"That... is crazy." Kion admitted, still baffled. It was understandable for him to be so confused, for he didn't think a lake like that would exist.

"We didn't think it would happen either, Kion." said Nala.

"Yeah mom." her son said: "You and dad are cubs again? What if it was a bad piece of meat from this giraffe."

"We promise you, Kion, you're not dreaming. We have been turned into cubs." Deep down, Simba brainstormed in his brain and realized that since he and his own mate had turned into cubs, they can probably have fun like cubs can and do whatever they wanted. After all, Kiara, Kovu, Vitani, and Zira would probably take care of things for now. "Hey, Kion, we can do fun times together." he smiled. "You, me, your mother do things that cubs would do together."

"I don't know." said Kion. "What if we can't change you back to normal?"

"We can always go to Rafiki." said Simba

"Yeah, he would know a cure for that." Nala added.

Kion and Rani smiled, and the male cub said: "Well... ok. But just for a little while, then we look for a cure to turn you back to your grownup selves. You're still the king, dad."

"Oh I know." Simba said. "You're right." His voice changed from flat to excited. "Wanna go play jump the crocodiles?"

"Sure." said Kion.

"Last one there is a rotten ostrich egg!" Nala playfully teases before she, Simba, their son, and Rani raced off to a nearby waterhole to dodge a couple of crocodiles before they can snap onto their small bodies.
