On with the story
A beautiful day that starts with a beautiful blue sky and a shining ray of the sunlight
Natsu was in the living room of his home, the man was sitting on his couch reading a book while holding Éclair, the pregnant woman was sleeping while leaning her head against Natsu's chest, the man holding her close while caressing her shoulder
The place was quiet and all before Meredy came squealing in while chasing after Happy who ran away from her in fright
Natsu looks at the two as Meredy caught Happy and carried him up
"Meredy, don't play too rough on Happy" Natsu told her as Meredy nodded before carrying Happy who looks like he wants to get away from her, away to upstairs
Natsu smiled to his adopted daughter before he went back to read while holding Éclair who was still asleep even from Meredy's loud squealing
The days have been peaceful as things were quite well for him and everything else. That was what he had thought
Natsu closed his book before putting it away as he turns his attention to his sleeping girlfriend/ wife.
He caresses her shoulders gently before he combs some strands of hair behind her ear and placed a kiss to her forehead
Natsu smiles as he just watches her sleep before he heard loud knockings coming from his door
"who could that be?" Natsu muttered out as he then hears his front door slamming open and then sees Mira coming in "Mira?"
"Natsu! big trouble!" Mira exclaimed with an exhausted look
"shuuush, Éclair is still sleeping" Natsu told her as he caresses Éclair's back head and then looks at Mira "what is the trouble?"
Mira just went and grabbed the Tv remote before turning the tv on
Natsu watched her flip the channel into the news channel and sees breaking news of a train accident
"we are here live to report of a tragic train accident that had taken place upon the railway road to Magnolia!" a reporter exclaimed while reporting from what appears to be a burning train accident where fire trucks, ambulances, and policemen cruisers were on the scene. "unknown how it had happened but the Magnolia Train Express that was scheduled to have come back to Magnolia station had just went ablaze in flames before turning over to the side, there are reports of 17 people dead, 57 injured, 2 missing! This is a very mysterious and very tragic scene!"
Natsu watched as the news reporter went on and on about the tragic incident before he saw Lucy getting taken into an ambulance on a stretcher, while covered in blood
"L-Lucy.." Natsu muttered out in shock before he looks at Mira "when did this happen?"
"it happened a few hours ago" Mira replied "they're taking everyone into the Magnolia Hospital ASAP"
Natsu squinted his eyes as he looks back at the tv and at the accident scene
4 hours later, At Magnolia Hospital
There were nurses and doctor walking around the area as some of the injured people from the train accident were getting taken away to the ICU or the medical room where they would get medical treatment and Some were at a room, crying and mourning to some who had died in the accident.
Natsu, Mira, Erza, and Kagura walked in the hospital from hearing the news and seeing Lucy who had been in the train accident and was transferred here
"there's so many" Mira said seeing how many people were injured in a single train accident while Erza went to the front desk to ask for where Lucy's room is
Natsu looks around as he sees how many were terribly injured before he turns to look at Erza who came back with a confused and grim look
"what's wrong?" Kagura asked
"they said that Lucy wasn't transferred in this hospital" Erza explained as this got them confused
"what do you mean that she isn't in this hospital?" Mira asked
"they said that there was no one named Lucy Heartfillia in this hospital" Erza replied "I asked them to recheck and there wasn't even a mention on her name at all"
"that means….Lucy is at a different Hospital?" Kagura said as things were getting confusing and weird fast
"call anyone who is available" Natsu said "we are going to check all hospitals here"
They nodded before they head out of the hospital and went on a search for Lucy
The search went on for an hour as everyone except for Éclair went to every Hospital in Magnolia and asked if Lucy were in their hospital which she was in one certain hospital
We turn our attention to the road where Natsu's limo was at as Azuma drives it to a corner and heads off
Inside were Natsu and the others except for Éclair with Irene and Ultear; the two were asked to watch over her and Meredy at Natsu's house
"where is this hospital?" Natsu asked to Ikaruga who had found out where Lucy was
"Everlue grand golden hospital" Ikaruga replied as this made the others confused on why such hospital had such a long name and a ridiculous one at it too
"what kind of a hospital has such a ridiculous name?" Mira said with a raised eyebrow
"we are here" Azuma said as everyone looks out a window and their face went deadpanned to see a hospital in a golden color with a golden statue of a short plump man wearing a suit looking to have skinny arms and legs, wearing a suit and then doing a big superior pose, in front of the hospital
"what the heck is this place?" Cana asked, not looking impressed to see such a ridiculous hospital
"how did you come to find out this place?" Kagura asked Ikaruga
"best that you do not know" Ikaruga replied
Azuma drives into the hospital's parking space as the place looks tight in security
Natsu looks at the hospital as he had a keened look on it
They went in as the place was literally covered in gold paint, statues of the same man from the front of the hospital everywhere, picture frames filled with photos of the man and the nurses there were a bit….unique
"welcome to the Everlue Grand Golden Hospital~! We here treat you all in every manner gentle and kind as possible~!" the front desk nurse said as she looks rather….bizarre because of how she looks a little ugly
Natsu looks normal while the others looks a bit disturbed to see her
"we are here for Lucy Heartfillia, for a visit" Natsu said as the front desk nurse nodded before checking the roster for Lucy's name
"I think I need to go to the bathroom" Cana said looking blue "there's so much of this..guy….i can even take"
"me too" Mira added in as she and Cana went to a nearby bathroom, only to come out a second later looking even more blue and greenish a bit too
"what's wrong?" Kagura asked
"the toilet is even far worse than here" Cana said, her body shuddering a bit
"ah yes, if you are looking for Miss Heartfillia's room, it is located at the VIP area on the 77th floor number 7777" the nurse told Natsu who nodded before he and the others went off
"77th floor? Is this hospital that tall?" Minerva asked as the hospital seems to be only 30 -40 stories high not 70
"must be some sort of weird or wrong numbering or something" Erza said as they went to an elevator which door opened and a damn annoying/ disturbing voice was heard
"Welcome to my elegant hospital~! which level are you going~? Boyoyoyoyo~!" the voice spoke out from inside the elevator as this made the girls really uncomfortable
"can we take the stairs instead?" Kagura asked Natsu who goes into the elevator and this made the girls groan before following him in
"The doors are closing~! Be careful not to get caught in my doors~! Or you'll be sorry~! Boyoyoyo~!" the voice spoke out as the elevator door closed before it went up a level
A few minutes later, Natsu and the others were at the 77th floor or the 25th floor which was labeled as the 77th floor and it took them 10 tries to find the real floor
"who in their right mind sets the 30th floor as the cafeteria?" Cana said while groaning from the elevator lift which they had been stuck in for the last 8 minutes, listening to the annoying and uncomfortable voice in the entire ride.
"let's just take the stairs when we get out," Kagura said, looking really annoyed from the voice that just spoke when the door opened
"yeah, let's should" Natsu said looking rather annoyed from the voice too
They went out as they started walking in the hallway which had dozens of rooms whose doors were all covered in gold paint
"I'm going to need to wear glasses from all this sparkling" Minerva said, as the gold paint was reflecting the light from outside, causing sparkling shines everywhere
They all went to the designated room where it had two men in suit guarding its door
"halt, at the moment you are not to enter the room" one of them told Natsu who stood in front of them and the girls
"we are here to visit our friend, Lucy" Natsu said "she's in there"
"just because you are her friend, it doesn't mean anything" the other one said, not intending to let Natsu come into the room "you are not allowed in"
"look, guys. We are here just to visit her and make sure that she's alright" Cana told the two "after that, we go back home. Sounds good?"
Cana tried reaching for the door handle before one of the men grabbed her arm and grips it tight
"what part of not allowing you in, you don't understand?" the men asked, gripping her hand tighter
"ow!" Cana exclaimed in pain as the man grips her arm even tighter before Natsu slams his fist at his cheek hard, sending him flying to the end of the hallway
"you!" the other one exclaimed, going to attack Natsu before he got grabbed by the neck "gah!?"
Natsu looks at the man who he had just punched away before to the one that he is holding
"I don't care who you are or who you work for or who appointed you here. But know this" Natsu said in a threatening voice as his eyes glowed crimson "I don't tolerate anyone hurting my mates, no one"
Natsu soon throws him to the floor before kicking him to the other end of the corner
"wow, remind me to get into some trouble" Mira said as Erza rolled her eyes
Natsu soon opened the door to the room where inside was Lucy under intensive care while bandaged up all over her body.
"my god" Ikaruga said seeing how badly wounded Lucy is and how she was strapped to the bed while attached to so many life supports machines
"was it that bad on the tv?" Cana asked remembering how Lucy was taken into the ambulance while going to check on the board which had the information of how much injuries Lucy sustained "it couldn't be that bad, right?"
"bone fractures, burns, internal organ bleeding.." Kagura read out the chart, Cana was holding as it showed just how many injuries that Lucy sustained from the accident "this is just terrible"
"what is even more terrible is the fact that they strapped propofol into her IV infusion" Minerva said standing beside Lucy's bed while looking at the iv bags that were attached to her iv infusion "this much of propofol can cause her to go into a coma"
Natsu takes the chart from Cana as he eyed the injuries before he looks at Lucy who was still asleep on her hospital bed
"what are you thinking, Natsu?" Erza asked
"Someone intentionally did this" Natsu said as this got the girls tense a bit
"intentionally? Do you mean someone caused the train accident?" Cana asked while raising an eyebrow
"I don't know how to prove it but," Natsu said before he looks to the door where he hears several footsteps and a loud voice that was screaming and shouting "I'll talk later"
The door soon slammed open to reveal a short man who looks exactly like the statue, the pictures that were within the hospital
"who are you people!? How dare you trespass in my magnificent hospital?!" the short man exclaimed looking all furious
"trespass? Are you saying that your hospital doesn't take in injured people?" Natsu said, looking down on the plump short man
"hey hey hey! don't you dare give me that tone! Do you have any idea on who am i!?" the man shouted out as Natsu shrugs his shoulder
"do I have to know?" Natsu replied as the man's face went fury red
"very well then! Remember the name of the man who will ruin your life forever!" he shouted out before he suddenly had a spotlight shining down on him "my name is Everlue Duke! The owner of the Everlue Grand Foundation! And the multimillionaire or rather a future trillionaire of the future combined Everlue Heartfillia Foundation!"
"Everlue?" Natsu said, his face seeming to have heard the name before
"wait a minute, did he say Everlue Heartfillia Foundation?" Cana asked, looking like she had misheard the words
"you didn't hear wrong, poor woman!" Everlue exclaimed "I happen to be the CEO of my fabulous cooperation and also the Fiancé of Lucy Heartfillia the new owner of the Heartfillia Cooperation which shall be mine!"
"F-Fiancé?" the girls said before looking a bit in disgust from imagining Lucy getting married to such an annoying ugly looking man
"what do you mean that Lucy is now the owner of the Heartfillia Cooperation," Natsu said as his eyes were squinted a bit "her father is still the owner of that place"
"have you not heard?" Everlue asked while pulling his mustache a few times "Jude Heartfillia had died in the train accident a few hours ago"
This shocked everyone in the room as to hear the death of Lucy's father
"t-that…can't be right…right?" Mira asked, looking a bit shocked to the core
"it is right as it can be right" Everlue said before taking out a piece of paper from inside his suit "and upon his last will, he arranged the marriage of my magnificent self with Lucy Heartfillia in plans to co-joined our cooperation together"
Natsu looks at the scene as he didn't look like he liked the idea of Lucy marrying someone like Everlue
"something is definitely off here" Natsu thought as he could smell something rot here.
