On with the story
Nighttime at Natsu's home, the girls were all gathered there as the situation was a bit tense
"arranged marriage?" Ultear said while having Meredy sitting on her lap, the Time Mage with Irene and Éclair just got the news on what was going on in the hospital a few hours ago
"that's what that Everlue Guy said" Mira replied sitting by the couch with Erza, Kagura, and Kamika "he is Lucy's so called 'fiance'"
"uggh, just remembering the guy's name makes me want to puke" Cana said, her face looking disgusted before she drinks her bottle of alcohol but her face turns a bit more greener "uhgghh, I accidently imagined the two getting married together which makes me even more sick"
Cana soon went off to the bathroom, probably to puke out the content of her stomach from imagining such a grotesque thing
"while Cana is puking, let's turn our attention on the more important part" Kagura said, ignoring the moaning pain sound coming from the bathroom which was the sound of Cana puking
"yeah, the fact that this train accident wouldn't be such an accident" Erza stated with an agreeing look "things like this can only happen on such a rare occasion"
"and there is still the fact that this Everlue Man just takes Lucy to his own hospital rather than the other hospital where all the injured people were taken into" Minerva added in
"are you all saying that this was a planned accident?" Irene asked as they all nodded
"we think that this Everlue guy caused the train accident that got Lucy's dad, and then takes Lucy away" Mira stated "I mean, just look at how the dots were connecting to each other"
"even if we do believe it was a planned accident, there's still not enough proof" Ultear said while caressing Meredy's head the child slowly falling asleep because it was her bedtime "we need strong evidence that this Everlue person caused it all"
"then what of Lucy?" Kamika asked, everyone's attention was to her "she's one of the many who was in the accident, maybe…she knows how it all happened"
"don't ask for the impossible, Kamika-han" Ikaruga told the paper mage "Lucy-han is at the condition where she can't even wake up. and there's the fact that she is within that hospital"
"Ikaruga's right" Minerva agreed "we can't get the proof if she's in a coma"
"then what can we do?" Mira asked as there was nothing that they could do to help Lucy and find out the truth of how the accident had happened
"where's Natsu?" Éclair asked as the man of the house wasn't in the living room with them
"where is he?" Ultear looks around while Cana went back from the bathroom, looking more relief
Natsu at the moment was in his room, sitting by his desk while looking at the Heartfillia's business card in hand
He looks at its words endlessly, looking like he was trying to figure something out
"you've been staring at that thing since you got back and went into this room," Demonic Natsu told Natsu while appearing on his desk with White Natsu "what's so special about it?"
"a clue" Natsu said as this got the two spirits looking confused
"a clue of what?" White Natsu asked while looking at the business card in hand
"Lucy's father wouldn't just leave a will to someone if he had passed away" Natsu said "if he did, then he would've announced it on the public message or something. Just having the will in hand before the coming death was something that I can't wrap my head around"
"maybe it was for something like a planned business or something" Demonic Natsu said while looking bored "I don't really know how business guy do things, but it might be that"
Natsu looks at the business card before he squinted his eyes a bit. He takes off his glasses before his eyes glowed red
His vision enhanced as Natsu sees traces of magic on the business card
Natsu waves his hand over the business card as he could see a hidden message within it
"so that's what this is all about" Natsu said before he stood up and went out
"what was what all about?" White Natsu asked looking confused while Demonic Natsu just shrugs his shoulders
A week soon passed as things at school been quite off
Lucy was back in school, even though she was bandaged up from her train accident
She sat in class at her seat with a sad frown on her face
"Lucy, you alright?" Cana called out to her while looking worried about how sad Lucy was looking
"ah, yeah. I'm fine" Lucy replied with a small smile that seemed fake to Cana
"are you sure? You could just ask permission to not come today" Cana said "seeing how you're still banged up after the whole"
"I'm fine, Cana" Lucy told her "I'll be fine"
The bell soon rang as it signaled the start of the class
Cana went back to her seat but while taking a few glances at Lucy who opened her book
"better leave her be for the moment" Erza told Cana while going to her seat "her body isn't what she is more worried on"
"I know, but just seeing her this bad…" Cana replied while looking worried for Lucy
"she's a strong girl" Mira told Cana "let's leave it to her to sort things out"
Cana looks at Lucy then at the three before nodding and sat back on her seat as the teacher had come in to start the class
Meanwhile at the S Rank Class
Natsu was looking over the school's field while leaning against the wall near the window, the man was just looking at it with a silent posture
"Natsu?" Éclair called out to him as she was sitting by her seat, in the middle of what seems to be knitting a red colored child onesie; seeming to be for the future child within her "what's wrong?"
"nothing" Natsu replied as he went and sat down beside her "just nothing"
"it's Lucy, right?" Éclair asked, knowing how everyone was feeling for Lucy who had just been told that her father had died after waking up in Everlue's Hospital and that she was engaged with the man
"maybe" Natsu replied as he sighs a bit before adjusting his glasses
"will Lucy be alright?" Éclair asked with a small frown "her only family member has just.."
"I know" Natsu stated while going to her "but Lucy is strong, I know she can hold on to it"
"but..this morning" Éclair said but Natsu stopped her by placing a finger to her lips
"right now, she has to sort things on her own" Natsu told her "I know you are worried, so am i. but right now, she's the only one who can deal her own problems. Not us"
Éclair frowned even more as this was an inner family problem which means any one of them can't interfere with it
"don't worry" Natsu said "I'm sure things will turn for the better for her"
Natsu adjusted his glasses once more before his right eye turned demonic.
"I'll make sure of it" Natsu said
