Chapter 154: Alvarez Empire Arc: God Soul, Kheimon
"The two of you, stay back." Ulyo was ready for the fight against her newly-revealed father. "This is between family. Second Origin, release!" her magical aura solidified when she released her 'Second Origin'. "Take Over: Gold Soul, Kheimon." Ulyo then took on the form of the Horae of Winter, complete in her robes and a curved onyx poleaxe in her dominant hand. "Now, let's begin, shall we, Father?" she pointed the Poleaxe of Kheimon at Invel.
"Ice Age Severity Coverage!" Invel started to test the waters by flinging his conjured ice shards at his newly-found daughter.
"Can you please be serious about this?" Kheimon was unfazed and swung the Poleaxe, nullifying the shards. A second swing from the Poleaxe stopped the billowing snowstorm.
"The snowstorm..." Gray gawked.
"It stopped." even Juvia was stunned.
How is that even possible? Invel was shocked that his power was easily negated.
"My turn." Kheimon dismissed her Poleaxe and gathered a palm of swirling ice. "Demonic Mirroring Ice Crystals." she trapped Invel in a dome of twenty-one ice mirrors. Stepping back into an ice mirror on ground level, she entered the mirror, her reflection appeared in every single mirror. "Aerodynamic Frozen Shuriken Storm!" she let loose a barrage of ice shuriken at Invel, who stepped aside to dodge the attack.
"You should be honored, daughter of mine; to make me use this." in response to the multi-directional attack that was to come, Invel covered his entire body in a spiked ice armor. "True-Ice Kamui. This netherworld ice freezes all that it touches. No matter how resistant to ice you are, this armor will negate any of the attacks you can throw at me." he expanded his icy aura to break the mirror dome.
"Freezing Shatter Fist." Kheimon stepped out from her rapidly shattering mirrors, coating her closed fist with her ice and slammed a punch straight across Invel's face, shattering the armor.
"Impossible..." Invel breathed. "She made ice with the same properties as the True-Ice Kamui?"
"Arctic Gungnir." Kheimon fashioned an ice spear in her hand. "Father, you gave me life. For that, I sincerely thank you. Please, allow me to end this fight the fastest way I know how." she took out Invel with a single strike to the stomach.
"Ulyo!" Gray ran forward after the mirror dome scattered into icy dust.
"Ulyo-sama, are you alright?" Juvia hurried towards the water mage.
"I'm just..." Ulyo started, eyes shutting in exhaustion as Kheimon left her body. "A little tired."
"Hey, Ulyo, get a grip." Gray managed to catch Ulyo before she fell over.
"Hey!" Wendy called out, running into the scene with Carla in tow. "Oh no." the Sky Dragon Slayer noticed the battered Ulyo.
"Everything has to do with fate." Invel started, barely clinging onto consciousness. "Unless you defeat E.N.D, misery will forever be your destiny."
"I am going to take down E.N.D." Gray swore, handing Ulyo to Juvia to allow Wendy to use her healing magic. "I don't need you to tell me.
"Actually, you're the only one who can defeat him." Invel admitted. "But you don't know his true identity. Etherious Natsu Dragoneel. He is the mightiest demon of the Book of Zeref. He is your true foe."
