Chapter 155th
WHITE TUNNEL
Special Agent Gibbs had been walking for a few moments before finding the table that he usually sits at while he's dying. He was exhausted as he sat down at the white table alone.
"Okay, I am here now. Where are you, God?" he cried out to the sky or whatever it was called.
A moment later he saw his old friend and boss, Michael Franks.
"You're not dead probie! And won't be for a while until you actually die at age 98 years old with your wife Loreile in your arms before passing away." Mike will say as if he had no feelings in him.
"Mike, then why am I here in the first place?" he said with standing up from his chair.
"This is just a staging area while the doctors will be working on you in the operating room. You're going to survive even though at first you're going to think that you're not able to move from the injury of your spine."
"I was stabbed Mike by Alejandro Riveria the bastard. I do hope that someone was able to shoot him outright?" he cried out with his emotional response.
"Some woman named KATRINA LAW of the R.E.A.C.T. team for NCIS shot him three times into his head. An interesting woman I might say. Your wife is going to be angry that she had your eye?"
"Liar! I never even met the woman Diane. How dare you accuse me of being interested in a woman?" Gibbs had gotten up as if he wasn't able to move. "What is wrong with me I can't move?"
"It's your injury, Jethro. I told you that you're going to have to deal with time until your spine heals from the swelling," she responded seeing the anger and confusion on his face.
"I can't live like this unable to walk or move like a baby," he said before she disappears.

"He's coming around Doctor Sanchez?" A nurse in ICU had called him after Gibbs was asleep for 14 hours with everyone worried.
"Nurse do me a favor and go to the waiting room to bring his wife here? Understand?" He had said with a tone that was hard in nature.
She walked out of his room to head for the waiting room. Since his wife had arrived earlier after going back home since his injury.
"What the hell are you talking about Mike? I have never ever met her at all," he says with anxiety with his entire body.
"Mike why now come to me with all this?" Gibbs needed to ask his friend.
"Because you need to be kicked into the ass to finally have your god damn altitude changed into the right direction." he will say to him before walking away from a little.
"I am who I am supposed to be all of my life Mike," he exclaimed.
"Yeah, a real loser for the most part. Now you need to change it, Jethro, before you wind up dead for sure and your family and friends. Do you really want Loreile and your three boys without a father?"
"Of course not!" he will cry out with his response before his friend disappeared in front of him.
NO!
It wasn't until sometime later with Loreile arriving at the hospital. She was really angry inside of her wanting to punch someone for putting her husband in the hospital again. She had tears while sitting in the waiting room with most or all of Gibb's team and including Director Leon Vance, Palmer, and Kasie waiting on word for their friend.
She had to stand up needing to stretch her muscles having sat a long time. Until finally Doctor Cyril Taft and another specialist. She wanted to know for sure what type of injury.
"Leroy Jethro Gibbs is a tough bird. However this time he's going to have another uphill battle with his spinal cord damage. I was able to remove the bullet fragment lodged. However, there is going to be a lot of pain and swelling for a while."
"OMG! He's not going to be able to walk?" Loriele said with emotion and anger.
"For a short time until the nerves and muscle heal from the swelling. However, depending on how things go. There is a possible chance that once again we will have to be using the Cell Regeneration program." he says with a deep breath and a sign coming from Loriele's mouth.
"Can I sit with him, Doctor?" Loreile begged even though she needs to make a decision in regard to her life and marriage. This was the final straw at this point.
"Sure. But only an hour Mrs. Gibbs. My patient needs his rest. However, if he should wake. I will need you to call us to let us know he's waking?"
"Sure doctor," she responded with trying to stay calm the best she could.

Twenty minutes later with Loreile sitting with staying by her husband's side. She saw the change in him with beginning to wake finally. She had gotten up to call the nurses' station to let them know.
"Jethro, do you hear me? Come on and open your eyes?" she waited to see them flutter open to see his crystal blue eyes.
He groans for a few moments before his eyes opened completely. Doctor Sanchez still on the shift in the hospital came into the room.
Using his pencil light to check his eyes and his scope with listening to his heart. He bent back up to say that he's awake. We need to go slow Mrs. Gibbs talking and calming him down once I ask him to try and move his legs, toes, and back."
"And if he can't Doctor?" she was concern with her stomach and the baby up in arms.
"Take one day at a time until we decide on whether to use the Cell Regeneration Program." He responded with the complete truth.
"I will try to do my best Doctor. However, I must tell you that I am fed up with all this nonsense for when t comes to my husband getting injured all of the time?" she emotionally had to say.
"I am truly sorry about this Loreile. I will sit in the back while you talk with him before starting the tests on him," he commented.
